Sooner Is better than Later

This Blog will be about all the latest events about Barack obama. I am forming this blog because I feel a connection to this candidate like no other. Barack Obama will transend our country and will bring us together. After too many years of divisivness,we finally have a candidate who with our help will change things for the better. If we get it right this time I think the world will re-gain it's respect for the U.S. and our world community will be able to reach out to each other with dipolmacy and try to live peacefully. Yes this will take some time and a lot of effort, but if the U.S. is willing to go the distance it will be well worht it for future generations.

where did the Thoughtfulness go...

For three days the blog has been unwelcoming to people who have a different view on the issue of Rick warren at the inauguration. it has become CLEAR, the people who are doing this are very small sighted. Yes, the economy is important as well as whatever else is wrong in the world. We that oppose Rick warren's views have been shout out of any discussion on the topic that does not seem flattering to Barack Obama are pushed aside. Well, I guess those who said that the Republicans follow the Bush agenda lock step should take a look at themselves at this moment because they are now following the sane trait. I can no longer feel i am welcome with this goup, who ever they are.

Is this how the Obama administration will govern??? No one is welcome unless they agree 100% with Barack Obama,or is it just his "fan base" that are just groupies acting like his administration is a "fan club" of devotees? This is sickening.

Canvassing for GOTV

Today I went canvassing and found that a lot of people are watching this general election more tan the primary. When talking to folks the most concern was The economy. When I answered the question about raising taxes, most people need to be informed that if they make less than 200,000 per year then they will get a tax cut. It was a good day because I got 50 new registered voters. Hopefully the information that we are putting out there will get to the masses. I feel like we accomplished a great deal with answering questions and getting people registered to vote.

Barack is in the Middle East this weekend.

Barack is in the middle East this weekend and the MSM is beside itself (so what else is new). Only 3 major news outlets are on board to interview Barack as he travels this weekend. I am most excited to see Barack in Jordan. For some reason I have always admired king Hussein of Jordan. I do feel his son has done a good job in these difficult times to accept the Iraqi people fleeing the war. Barack will travel to Germany and England. When the week ends,I am sure Barack Obama will win the news cycle in a positive way. looking forward to next week.

The time is closing in on PA. This is going to be a really close race. I think Obama will close the gap. He might not win,but he will not lose by a big blow out. If we come within 3pts. HRC is Toast. It surely will be time the DNC to step in and call this race over. PA. will really be a deciding factor for the opposition. we will go on to the rest of the states. No worries.

The Race Is On

At this present time, the Obama campiagn has called a truce with all the negitive talk about certain things that were said from the Clinton Camp. O.k. Barack Obama is being praised for stepping up and telling us that we should get back to the issues that are facing this country. I say this: The converstation got so heated that both Obama And HRC got a phone call from the higher ups and they were both told to CALM THE SITUTATION DOWN. sometimes there is too much cheerleading and not enough reality. Not one blog about what might have been said to both camps from the leaders of the DNC about this situtation. I do like Barack Obama, but reality is what it is. Someone made it clear to both camps to just cut it out already and get back to business.

Time is drawing Near

The last two weeks have been amazing for Barack Obama. iI was nice to see so many turn out to support him when Oprah Winfrey took to the campaign trail and let people now why she is supporting Barack. I find it amusing that now Obama is in a tie in NH with HRC and about 10pts in front of her in Iowa, that the Clinton Sleez machine would be out in full force. It is amazing that he was not even mentionied two months ago and all of a sudden the Clintons are bashing him on none other than "experience". Let me see now: how does a past president and his wife walk around like they are hollier than thou after all the scandals they brought into the whitehouse in the late 90's? How quickly we all forget that is was the clinton yrs that bought on Al qaida. yes it was during that adimistration that all the "terrorism talk came to be on the U.S. So if this is what we will have to go through again in the 21st century with this family who think that EVERYTHING in owed to them, then the american people have their selves to blame for not paying attention and getting the facts straight when certain politicans want to re-write history. I am sure that Barack Obama has already been put to the test. I do see people that are now in favor of serious CHANGE and they will vote for Barack Obama.

Barack on the east Coast

This morning while listening to 98.7 kiss,I heard the commentators say that they had invited Obam to interview on their show at least 4 times and he has declined. they are completely out of vontrol over this. Someone stated that he will not speak to Black audiances, another stated that all the dem candidates are a sorry bunch.I can safely say that Barack Obama must really be making people nervous because he speaks truth. these folks have not got a clue what his campaign is about. If these people would actually do their homework, maybe I would take them seriously. the next few weeks should be really interesting.

Barack Obama will be visiting NYC this coming week. This is a free rally that will take place in Washington Square Park. This is a major feat considering it will be out doors and in a place that is very diverse. I am excited about this event taking place and I am proud that it will let some people who have not yet engaged in this campaign to do so. i guess you can say I was bit suprised that it is being allowed since the parks dept. reallly doesn't like these kinds of events. All in All in should be a wonderful experience for all that get to see Barack at his best.

OPRAH THROWS FUNRAISER FOR OBAMA

Oprah's fundraiser for Barack Obama is today in Santa Barara,CA. It will be one the most talked about fundraisers so far this season. Oprah has never endorsed any candidate, unitl now and it is because she knows Barack Obama and feels she can throw her support behind his candidacy. I know this will help the campaign with the audiance that Oprah represents, mostly women. Barack has not made the in roads that he needs in this area. This fundraiser will bring to light to many in Oprah's audiance the type of candidate that Obama is. oprah is also going to play a larger part in this campaign. This is a big step. Now with Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey ralling the women voting block,I think this is a win/win situtation all around. Barack obama is well on his way to becoming the next president of the U.S.

Long Weekend....Obama not campaigning in FL,MI

Now that Barack Obama has pledged not to break the DNC rule for states who try to bump up their primary date ,he will not campaign in Florida or Michigan. This is a good idea since these States all ageed on Feb.5 2008 for the primary. I think this will be looked at as a plus for Obama. He still stands a greater chance at winning Iowa and New Hampshire. With this new develpoment people are worried that he will loose FL. I say whatever. If he wins Iowa and SC or NH,then the other states will follow suite. It has been this way for a long time and I feel Fl is just messing around and is going to get burned for it. We shall see how all this plays out in the next few weeks since congress will be back in session next week. All will go well for the Obama Campaign. Somtimes change is good and then sometimes change does not benefit anyone.

Barack Obama doing well in the press

Last week was a great week for Barack Obama. He got major endorsements from a well established leader in foreign policy. Now all the talk about inexperience can be put to rest. I find it amusing that no one in the MSM has made that many comments about this endoresment. I do realize that when ever the subject does not favor Hillary Clinton, the MSM is not touting how experienced she is. Experience is sooo overrated. I am also happy to see more on New Orleans since it has been two yrs and parts of that city are still devistated. Barack Obama has been on the forefront since 2005 when Hurrican katrina destored parts of that great city and he has even been in hearings with law markers in louisana to get some clarification to see what still needs to be done. All in all in was a great week for Barack obama.

Barack's Spanish language video

I can honestly say I like this video. It has Barack being himself and describing who he is and what his campaign is about to a different audience. I really think this is going to do well because it shows Barack can reach different sectors of society. This is a new demographic and the candidates should try a different approach to reach out to all in this country. I am not suprised that Barack can speak spanish well. he seems to master whatever challange comes his way with ease, and language is no different. I am happy that his campaign is leading the way in diversity. No other campaign has been more exciting and engaging. Keep up the great work Barack.

Smile.

Blogging on

This week has been an eye opener for me. I once enjoyed being on the Obama Blog. It was a place where you could engage and be respected for your opinion. Well, it has changed. I differed with a blogger and now it has become very nasty. I feel as though this time it has become very personal. I have given alot to this process of getting people interested in Barack Obama and focusing on why his campaign is the change we need. The events of what took place a few days ago on this blog changed a few things: I will no longer participate in dialouge with the communitty blog, I have decided it is the best thing to do. I have also decided that it is time I and some other supporters really take a better look at where this campaign is going. The communitty blog has become very cultish,as it has been said at other blog posts, but I always ignored those statements, now I find that maybe I too need to look at the things that are right there. It is not The campaigns fault that this is happening. I do realize there are other options I should and will look at when it comes to who would best be in the interest for the state of NY. We have two other candidates and maybe they seriously need to be looked at. I have given more than just blogging and money to this campaign, but when people are being personally attacked it is time to take my experience and energy somewhere else. I wish Barack Obama all the best and maybe his supporters will learn to be more like what he preaches and learn from those that may differ with their opinion.

Obama Blog HQ

I have noticed lately that when there is a statement on the HQ blog the opponients of other candidates come onto this blog and go bannas. I suggested that this blog be monitored, but with that comes the usual speculation that it's scensorship. I say monitor the HQ blog because all the smashing going on will only turn off potential new voters. Barack Obama has tried to stay above the fray and keep a positive message to his campaign, but unfortunately his blog has become nothing more than a place for outsiders to trash him. I don't have the answer to this. most say I should just let it be and only comment when I feel like doing so. I say it is time for me to find a better place to blog on a positive note about Barack Obama. i know for a fact that people that I have asked to visit this blog have told me it is not what they are looking for and obama supporters are very arrogant. I have tried to explain that it is ususally not that way and what they are seeing is barack is raising in the polls so the rival camps will try to sway others. It is not a good look for his blog and they can be more aware that this behavior is making new people to obama's campaign look in other places. I hope that the managment of this blog learns how do deal with the nastiness whenever barack puts out a statement. I am searching for antoher place to blog and discuss my ideas. I have had enough of this.

NYC VISIT FROM BARACK

Barack will be in NYC at the end of the month at the hammerstein ballroom. This is going to be big for a few reasons. one, the hammerstein is legendary where the most known artists play live and it holds about 2000 people. The last time I went to the hammerstein was back in the fall of 1999 when marc anthony performed there,so its been awhile and I do believe I will be attending this event. Nice venue, around the corner from Madison square garden and accessable parking. it should be fun and informative. GO NYC FOR OBAMA!!!!

Barack's Iraq war funding vote

Barack voted no on this bill and now some say he should have given a statement on how he would have voted. Some even went as far as saying he would vote yes before any vote was taken and threatened to stop supporting him. I am confused about the ones who say these things and then it brings to mind what the media has been saying about Barack and the ones who support him. He has a following of young people and this is regarded as the ones that don't vote. So now it is becoming a little more clear that his following of young people are fickle. They are quick to be criticle when not a word has been spoken because they are easily lead by the blogs that he will do this or do that when they want him to say or do what suits them, sorry young folks, politics does not work that way. politcs is also based on debate and then reason. I surely hope that his campaign understand and see what they have as potenial supporters,it will only count if the true base supports him and actually votes for him if we want change in this country. Barack Obama is still a Senator for the State Of Illinois and these are the people who should have their say how he is doing as a state senator since he represents them when he is in the senate. The rest of us should support him if we truly believe that he is the candidate that brings this country together, and also realize we will not always agree on the way he might go about his decisions, but still has the courage to support him because of his overall job performance for the people of the U.S.

RUSH AND BARACK

Rush Limbaugh has been taunting barack obama with a parody of puff the magic dragon and called it "Barack The Magic Negro". I think I am the only one who knows why there is no outrage about this. Barack is a public figure,he is seen as a serious threat to the Dems who are runing for President and lastly,AL SHARPTON CAN'T STAND BARACK OBAMA. You see, this is just the way it goes. Al sharpton has a lot of jeliousy re-garding Barack obama and so the parody that Rush Limbaugh is playing on his show does not merrit any kind of up-roar from the so called cilvil Rights Leaders. That being said it is obvious that barack obama is going to handle this with dignitiy and go on about his campaign. This to will pass. It is note worthy to see the how much jeliousy there is on sharpton's part. It would be best if he has no more contact with Barack obama. Al sharpton should just endorse Hillary. Barack dones not need that garbage around him or be associated with him.

NEW WEEK,NEW DRAMA

So today the Obama campaign took over the myspace page for Barack Obama. The problem seems to be that the so called owner of that page was offered a deal for the names and he wanted a better deal. He was upset that the obama campaign shut down that page. i feel no noe owns your name but you. Now of course the "SO CALLED SUPPORTERS" are all upset about this, they will pull their support and vote for another candidate. I really cannot get with this juvenile thnking. But then again, Obama has this FAN BASE and this does not mean that they are polictically savy and really are only "FOLLOWERS" AND not serious about politics. I hope this campaign can work passed all of this "idol worship" and consentrate on the issues that concern us that are serious about this country's future. Please get on to people who are mature enough to handle the rough times that comes with running a serious campaign. Obama needs the volunteers, but this campaign has got to come up with a way to move ahead to the voters along with serious people who will vote in the election. I posed this question before, how many of these supporters are actual voters?? THIS is just another lesson to be learned. I hope he can make it to the primaries, because if the only people who claim to support obama are looking for an 'Idol" then he just won't make it. His campaign relies on the young vote, but here we are looking at the way these young people are reacting to one person who thinks he should be compensated for using a web page as a hobby and used it as an offical page for Barack Obama. If he had a contract with the Obama camp, fine then he should be compensated, but if he did it becaue he wanted to because he was a supporter of Obama then it's not worht the time. It will be interesting to see how these young folks take it as this campaign goes forward. Let the mature people stand up and be heard. Barack obama will have my support until the end .

BARACK OBAMA AT THE NATIONAL ACTION NETWORK FORUM.

It is finally done. Barack came to Ny and gave his speech at Al Sharptons national action network. It was'nt that bad,but then again not that good. I am now looking forward to the group of Ny senators who are saying that they will give their support to barack Obama because they feel it would be a wise decision. Not everyone in this state is in hillary's corner, since Obama raised alot of money in the fire quarter, Senators in NY state are taking a serious look at him. The Ny Senators say they will wait until June to make this endorsement offical. I hope this comes true. Barack does not need Al Sharpton's endorsement,it's not a good look. I hope Sharpton endorese Hillary or Edwards. I don't want Barack Obama to be any where in the mist of Al "shake em Sharpton." Let's see what this forum brings to light and how it won't effect Obama.

BARACK ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL

So far barack obama has been drawing massive crowds on the campaign trail. The comments of most people that have seen him say that he is the one that has the most chance of giving this country the change it needs. I have been following his campaign closely and so far have one critique for him. Now is the time to star talking policy and how he would put policy into place. Barack has the attention and money now to start forming his plane for health care, education and envirornment. I look forward to the next faze of his campaign and tp see if the momentum holds up as the campaign goes forward into different cities and the donations start piling up again. He has already close to 200,000 supporters. Now we shall see if we can make a bigger splash in the second quarter. It is going to take alot of money for his campaign, but as long as hie supporters can give in small donations,we can keep on going.looking forward to the second quarter.Today is also a very sad day, 31 students at Virginia Tech. university were gunned down on campus. What do we as a free society do about gun control. This is an issue for all of our law makers to take up. This is not the first time that tradegy has happened in this fashion, when will we as a civilized society begin to realize that there are usually signs that can be seen long before such a tragic event happens. We really need to be more out-spoken when it comes to gun control.

YESSSSS!!!!!! 25 MILLION WAS RAISED. So now he has out raised Hillary because most of the funds that Barack raised came from small donations and it's basically for the primary. I am so happy. This shows that a candidate who was basically unknown outside Chicago, can compete in the big leagues. This is where the hard work for the supporters begins. Hope the momentum lasts. This is great news. GO OBAMA GO!!!!

Barack Obama Has not yet released his numbers.

The obama camp. has not released any fundraising numbers and said we will have to wait a least till the end od the week. That's fine i just wish all the hoopla about the statements made by barack on sunday would just stop already. i am of the notion that these people who seem to say that they have the inside view on the D.C. beltway are foolish.I have read several blogs from folks who think they are the voice that causees change in politics. This only leads me to wonder how many of these so called serious bloggers are voters and can actually stand to hear anything besides their own voices. These bloggers it seems to me are just posiser hiding through the internet. Bet not a one of the ones that are always on attack mode really gets what a communtiy can do and how many of them are activly involved in communitties and organizing? Most just blast off on the bloggs and think they have some sort of power defeating their rivals who support other candidates or disagree with a candidates point of view. i sure wish that the new way of politicing would change. To me these are just people who seriously need to take a breath and stop being so full of them selves. do they honestly believe that candidates actually pay attention to them in making serious decisions that face this country on a daily basis? I perfer to think politicians might hear a few things and play to it only when it concerns their interest. After we have a new president who ever it is , let's see how musch the politicans play to these bloggers, since they won't be up for re-election for at least 2yrs.

The Time Has Come To Count The Money

Today is the day all candidates must show how much money they have raised for their 1st quarter. I am confident that Barack Obama will do great. The momentum for Barack Obama is so deep. I don't remember ever being this jazzed about a presidential election. The time now is for the second faze to begin. I am looking foward to seeing what plans are laid out for the next faze.

Fund Riasing for barack Obama

It's coming down to the wire for all candidates to show how much money they have raised for the frst quarter. I am dure that barack will be right behind Clinton. Would it suprise everyone if he passes her? well it seems that MSM has now launch an all out war on barack and I am just so tired of reading non-stories that they think is news. It appears that the Media can't really find any negitive about him so they are going back to his first book"dreams from my father" and picking it apart. It is so ridiculas. It's going to be a long time unitl the first primary.

News of Obama and Hillary video

So after about a month of the smash-up video of Hillary Clinton, the media finally found out who the person behind making it is. It apparently is someone who once worked for the dseign of the barack Obama campaign. Well needless to say everyone claims no knowledge of this person... it still makes things a little shady because this person was friends with someone on the Obama team. I think it would be wise if all that was intened was to show their support for Barack Obama, they should not have used it in that way. i did like the video and must say, in the future i hope people take a look at what the effect was and just find a positive way to show their support for Senator Obama.

NEW DAY NEW CHALLANGE

Today is the 4th anniversary of the war in Iraq. All over the news everyone has a opinion of the war that still rages on. Nothing positive is coming out of this and i imagine it will be more difficult for Barack obama to convenience more of his collegues to vote to get our troops home. I feel that this debate will go on well into 2008 and it will dominate the 2008 election. It will be well worth the wait to see who can win the nomination. My vote of course goes to barack obama. Hopefully he will get his message out and hit more venues on the east coast. He has a long road ahead of him. In this city I know people are still skeptical about Hillary Clinton, I am confident that more of nyc will back obama. He is the real deal and I am working to get more people involved in this politcal process and it is a challange getting people motivated. This election will be different. I won't back away when someone questions why they should get involved when things seem to stay the same. I'll do what I do best, take them back to atime in their life when they had to make the most important decision in their life and drw on that senario. There comes a time when we all have to make a change evenwhen we are unsure of the out come.
