The Republican Party and some conservatives in this country have a very nasty and offensive way of not only misrepresenting facts but making every argument as partisan and myopic as possible.

When last year the argument in congress was about immigration reform, these same groups came up with the same narrow minded argument about why illegal immigrant should never be allowed the path to citizenship even when some of them are taxpayers.

Now we are seeing the same kind of undesirable arguments and elements attempting to portray the current drive for healthcare reform into another sphere of argument that defy gravity and authenticity.

I careless as to whether somehow the healthcare reform might positively impact other human beings that may be in the country illegally but are contributing tremendously towards its socio-economic status, as opposed to the so called residents that perpetuate murder, drugs and other social vices that have caused great pain to the country and its citizens.

Much Ado about President’s address to students

Without an iota of doubt it is increasingly becoming clear that the partisan divides is ever increasing as opposed to shrinking and the reason is not farfetched. A conspicuous example of how unnecessarily partisan leaders in Washington has become contrary to the desire to unite and forge ahead nationalistic sentiments was the manner the anticipated President Barack Obama’s address to the America students was treated.

The issue was politicized which is clearly contrary to the way previous president’s were treated especially by the so called conservatives Americans that unfortunately are moving too far right that is beyond pragmatism in a country that is a microcosm of the world population.

I am so far pleased with the handling of the various nonentities from those opposed to President Barack Obama as epitomized by the constructive and nationalistic articulations of the later. Furthermore it is gratifying to experience the ways and manners that the administration has continued to reply critics with the truth rather than synonymous inflammatory and fallacious information.

Though many of us are too shy to admit, but the reality is that there are still very few Americans that are too conservative, dogmatic and myopic enough that accepting the fact that the president of the United States of America could truly be a black man or rather a man of minority status.

However, justice shall prevail and the true America and American spirit shall triumph over sentimentality and stupidity.

Living in Bondage

Without an iota of doubt it is now becoming increasingly conspicuous that the Republican Party members are unwilling to work with President Barack Obama led Democratic Party as the later sort to bring about a comprehensive change as opposed to maintaining the status quo!

America is supposed to be the country where freedom is epitomize but unfortunately the same elements of freedom is now being use to make every American to be living in bondage courtesy of the sometime unnecessary opposition to the president on practically every issues.

It is a thing of shame that the Republican Party Congress is accepting the Honduras debacle by legitimizing the coup that ended a democratically elected government and yet the same group will want democracy to thrive even at home. A very simple analogy of the detrimental effect of such inclination by the opposition is to beginning to consider a situation whereby the military can take over the government under the pretence that a serving president is breaching the constitution! Where is the court or the judiciary arms of government?

Healthcare Reform and Approval rating quotient

Approval rating to the best of my understanding is yet another subjective term used by pundits to support or refute a measure and does not necessarily represent the authenticity of an argument or support the position of those it is intended to serve.

In spite of the media reporting about the downside rating for the president’s quest for revamping the healthcare industry, my community particularly does not share the same sentiments and I have also been opportune to discuss across the country and many of the people I contacted adamantly support the 44th president’s quest to bring orderliness and affordability in an industry that is saturated with too much “special interests”, lobbyists and the egocentrically myopic health Insurance companies.

The monopoly exhibited by the Insurance companies which pragmatically is to the disadvantage of the American people can only be broken with the advent of a system such as that being proposed by President Barack Obama, and which is focus on cost, affordability and quality.

I am consoled with the fact that your generosity, humanity and humanitarian work in addition to championing so many legislatures that affect the lives of the poor, rejected and needy like me will enable the doors of heaven to be open to you without reservation.

And furthermore, I do know that the almighty God loves a cheerful giver; and you have given your live fighting for destitudes like me and my types. The divine mercy of our LORD Jesus Christ is beyond measure and it will carry you to the promise land where there is true universal healthcare of love, harmony and abode of haven for mankind and the heavenly host.

Please convey my love and dearest greetings to JFK, MLK, and the rest of your type ( The defender of the poor) as you now have the opportunity to meet with them face to face after sojourning here on earth for the past 77 years.

Food for thought: Obama borrow to help, Republicans borrow to hurt the people

President Barack Obama is borrowing from China to salvage the socio-economic squalor that he inherited from the Republican Party led 43rd president of the United States of America. The later borrowed from China to wage a war of luxury and at the same time compensate for the perpetuation of the status quo.

The Republican Party is yet to realize that time has indeed passed and here we are watching with dismay and utmost disgust the manipulation of President Barack Obama’s good intention for the American people and the country.

What a shame that this country at times cannot even engage in a healthy debate without the politicization of the issues at stake. If the Republicans and their allies are not afraid let them join democrats and the American people to iron out for the last time the quest to revamp the healthcare industry.

As time goes on I will like to see further discussion in areas such as gun right and the possession of arms as the singular means of self-defense. We must not be afraid to discuss and furthermore, deceptions and related motives will only hurt the truth, but fortunately will never prevail against it. The truth is so bitter that those who hate it are bent on misrepresenting the truth to serve their egocentric purposes even at the detriment of the people they claim to serve.

So far, I agree with President Obama borrowing to help Americans as opposed to borrowing to hurt them, as was epitomized in the last eight years!

President Barack Obama’s Pragmatic Mentality

Without an iota of doubt, I am sure it is now becoming increasingly conspicuous that the 44th president of the United States of America is a pragmatist, realist and practical personality that is ever ready to explore every opportunity to make the lives of the ordinary Americans better while at the same time ensuring a revamped image of the country at home and abroad.

In spite of the nonchalant attitude of some antagonists to his policies and articulations, President Barack Obama has maintained his usual inclination and proclivity of standing on the side of truth and feeding the people with the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

As must have been epitomized in the healthcare reform initiative, the president maintained that doing nothing will have an insurmountable consequences and the country will be devastated if the current status quo is allow to perpetuate itself in the prevailing economy. I am convinced beyond reasonable doubt that if we allow wisdom and true dialogue to prevail, the present call for revamping the healthcare industry especially the monopoly by the private insurance companies will soon become a reality and for the betterment of the nation as a whole.

I completely disagree with those who are clamoring that healthcare reform should be delay due to the economic recession.

Why are we not delaying the outrageous luxurious life styles that some of our leaders, the healthcare insurance owners and the lobbyists are having for the sake of the recession?

Why are we not delaying in funding the Afghanistan war of necessity?

Why are we not delaying in reaching out diplomatically and economically to other nations?

Why are we not delaying the space shuttles?

Why are we not delaying in starving ourselves in other to pay for our children’s schools?

Why should we delay in a reform that is going to bring about relieve to all of us and create a healthy completion and choices for the American people?

This is the time, now and never for all of us to support the president and bring about a pragmatic and articulate reform and revamping of the healthcare system.

Without an iota of doubt that maxim “ a healthy nation is a wealthy nation more than support the call by the 44th president of the United States of America that health care reform cannot wait but must be executed in a realistic fashion that will ultimately benefit the American people.

Every individual American and family is a microcosm of the large society that makes up the country and consequently if such an individual is healthy by implication the nation is healthy too. Those who may be clamoring for the postponement of the current drive to reform the dogmatic, egocentric and economically bankrupting healthcare industry must reflect on the kind of situation the country faces before the first man was able to make a touchdown on the surface of the moon.

Retrospectively therefore it will become explicitly and conspicuously clear that gigantic initiative such as healthcare reform is more than synonymous to the quest to travel to the outer space culminating in Americans becoming the first men to land on that satellite. We are now faced with yet another challenge that will not only affect the ordinary man, but has the potential of transforming forever the way the healthcare industry in the country carry out its businesses.

The contemporary anxiety that is being perpetuated by the antagonists of President Barack Obama’s healthcare reform is conspicuously reminiscent of the kind of hoodwink and fear the citizens were subjected to prior to the invasion and subsequent devastation of Iraq.

However unlike in the cases of Iraq and other actions that culminated in some form of inhumane interrogation tactics and practices, the present administration is America- centric in its policies and deliberately position to help better the lives of every citizens. This inclination while being a laudable, respectable and nationalistic in nature does not enjoy the support of conservatives and some few undesirable elements that is too egocentric and myopic for the contemporary policies and articulations of the administration.

The real fear about healthcare reform is not about the anticipated cost, but principally based on the obvious fact that if effected those few powerful Americans that have benefited from the poverty of the people, and while at the same time hoping to keep the people perpetually hooked to their filament of selfishness, self-indulgence and debauchery will automatically lose their grip!

Without questioning it should be clear to majority of Americans that the fundamental issue at stake to reforming healthcare is not whether the 44th president supports it or not but essentially hinged on the fact that the powerful status quo players in the industry are not ready to forgo their inimical monopoly of the American people.

The recent development in which some have began to speculate that the Obama administration may be giving up on the public option conspicuously epitomizes the above school of thoughts which is factual and indispensible in understanding the mindset of the dogmatic, myopic and sentimental antagonist of President Barack Obama healthcare reform agenda.

Retrospectively the spontaneous exhilaration displayed by the Republicans especially and those whose campaign funding is wholly or partially provided by the healthcare insurance giants and others who wants to maintain the status quo should manifest to the people that some that are against government involvement in the healthcare industry are doing so not necessarily because they care about the people, but principally because they stand to lose their funding and by simple implication the ability to be in the Capitol Hill!

All kudos to President Barack Obama for exploring the possibility of providing a universal healthcare coverage that essentially recognizes both the peculiarities and necessities of the citizenry of the United States of America, and without attempting to socialized it as erroneously portrayed by those who are antagonistic to anything that has to do with pragmatic reform in this very decaying system.

Without doubt, I am encouraged and at the same time exceedingly proud of the 44th president for focusing on the need of the American people rather than throw away resources in a peculiar dogmatic fashion that glorifies war and intimidation around the world.

It is unfortunate that consequent to the special interests and lobbyists the honest and humane idea of the president was being misrepresented, tainted and in some cases liken to a death panel by some nonchalant, myopic and egocentric personalities, whose grand design in reality is to perpetuate the status quo.

The current hullabaloo about the ongoing quest by the 44th President of the United States of America to overhaul the systematically anemic and parasitic healthcare delivery services is mostly sentimental and emotionally inclined as opposed to simple logic and the desire to thread wisely for posterity sake.

It is essentially a conspicuous misrepresentation by antagonist of Americans and the president who sort to overhaul the system and therefore make healthcare affordable without scarifying the quality and quantity of service.

What is even most disturbing is the fact that some of these contenders could go as far as deploying the fear tactics that was reminiscent of why Senator John Kerry was unable to defeat former president George w. Bush during the later campaign for his second term in office. Americans should now know better than just to accept either the government position of that of those who rival such inclinations.

I am shocked beyond imagination, but at the same time not surprised by the maliciousness and detrimental attacks that some conservatives and lobbyists have perpetuated against the quest for a healthcare reform that will only serve a purposeful and progressive innovation in a system that is scientifically, socially, morally and economically bankrupt and decaying.

Those who argue that the reform amount to socialism have not only lost touch with reality but fail to provide a concrete evidence to manifest their sensation and dogmatic claim. Furthermore, how do such fellows reconcile the maxim a healthy nation is a wealthy nation to their antagonism of the revamping of the healthcare industry?

There are those who even exaggerated their claim that reform will bring about euthanasia or the perpetuation of unwanted killing! It is so sad that even in the face of the worst economic depression since the thirties and in the vicinity of further deterioration in the system as a whole, some Americans have decided to side with the lobbyists, dogmatist and those with archaic mentality as opposed to considering the reality of our time.

The Healthcare Overhaul misrepresentation

Without an iota of doubt those who are opposed to the Americans quest for justify healthcare coverage based on the potentials of this country may have succeeded in sowing the seed of discord in the minds and hearts of some of these vulnerable and defenseless members of the society, nevertheless I am convinced beyond reasonable doubt too that delay is not synonymous to denial.

One of the most crucial misrepresentation as the country finally take the necessary steps to correct the injustices rampant in the healthcare industry, and how the insurance companies have continued to milked the people of their lean resources even to the detriment of the economy is the argument that President Obama’s proposal is the same as a government takeover of healthcare services. This is fundamentally and emphatically incorrect and clearly a political calculation design to confuse Americans rather than enlighten them.

The current quest for overhauling the system is simply put to create an environment in which healthy, pragmatic and conscience incline competition prevails as opposed to the dogmatic and sentimental monopoly from giant healthcare insurance companies. It sincerely beat my imaginations that some Americans are falling for this kind of detrimental politicking that will essentially hurt the economy more, since the saying is true; “a healthy nation is a wealthy one.”

I was browsing the internet news when I came across this video! What is most pathetic about these recurring incidents is the fact that proponents of gun rights fail to differentiate between self defense and callousness.

It is a shame that politicians will rather support their political instinct even at the detriment to humanity. Without an iota of doubt many of us have been and continue to witness the diabolic consequences of the use of gun in a manner that is suggestive of nothing less than the propagation of the mentality that dehumanizes some at the expense of others.

I want to believe deep in my heart that gone are those days that those who possesses gun can use it to kill or murder slaves, and those powerless people out there that may have nothing in come with them. If my speculation is right, then it is about time that something responsibly is done about gun right.

Unfortunately those who are myopic enough to surmise that gun right is synonymous to the Second Amendment will never be able to come to term with reality as a result of their dogmatism. Nevertheless it is just very important that something is done and as soon as possible too.

Many lives have been lost due to gun violence within and outside of the family and considering the obvious fact that the family is the nucleus of the society we just cannot afford to wait for the politicians to continue to mortgage our lives and those of our loved ones.

The Mediocrity of Racial Profiling

I do not intend to overbeat the circumstances that led to either the arrest of Professor Gates Jr. or the comments that President Barack Obama made sequel to that ill-fated event. Nevertheless, it is crucial for every one of us irrespective of the color of your skin to accept the fact that without an iota of doubt if this Harvard Professor were to be anything other than black, he may have been gently treated than we saw.

And for those who may take the chance to argue in contradiction to this statement, I wish to refer you to the uncountable discriminatory and disproportionate arrest of people of color even when the situation does not warrant such treatment. The system gets too excited whenever there is an anticipatory arrest of prominent people of color and will turn its back if the case involves a “White man.”

Without much ado I sincerely wish to refer us to the case of the criminal investor called Bernard Madhof (pardon the last name, if it is not correctly written but you know who am talking about, then that’s okay- since he should not be remembered for the too much harm he has cause the United States of America economy, pride and the many Americans that have to live with the realization that they have been hoodwinked and swindled.

I am astonished beyond measure that the current president is facing the same kind of opposition that several of his colleagues had faced in an attempt to overhaul a healthcare system that is both on the verge of self- destruction, myopia and at the same time adversely affecting the economy of the country with the largest democracy in the world.

Funny as it may sound, the mentality of those opposed to the reform is still the same, dogmatic, sentimental and at worst detrimental to the overall wellbeing of the nation. To such people the maxim, “a healthy nation is a wealthy nation is not pragmatically applicable at all. What a shame.

Over and time again the argument against reform of the healthcare system had always center on cost! “Just the other day, one Republican senator said – and I'm quoting him now – ‘If we’re able to stop Obama on this, it will be his Waterloo. It will break him,’” Obama said, quoting DeMint. “Think about that. This isn’t about me. This isn’t about politics. COMMENTS: Unfortunately those who are opposed to healthcare overhaul are doing ti for political reason which does not in any way attempt to protect the Americans from the prevailing inimical system that hurt them so much. The healthcare reform of President Barack Obama can become a reality while at the same time reducing the cost of providing coverage for all Americans if it can look into some aspect of how the laboratory services impact the overall healthcare cost. Without an iota of doubt, if politic is taken out of the healthcare services, the below points can serve as rallying bases for saving cost without compromising the quality and quantity of the service.

By duplication of cost I am simply referring to some services that technologists provide which has the potential to substantiate, refute or help primary healthcare provider to make the judgment as to how best to proceed with the patient. An example of duplication of cost for the patients is when the medical technologist performs maybe a culture and sensitivity on a biological specimen and was able to determine both the causative organism and the most sensitive drug or medication that can arrest the infection. In spite of the fact that the job was done by the technologist in this case, the patients are always charge twice by paying for the cost of the test and then having to pays for pathologist too.

Laboratory Management

Many healthcare establishments go to a great learnt to find qualified personnel that will fill in vacant positions. Unfortunately in spite of the cost of hiring, there are some laboratory managers that have allowed their personality issues to compromise qualified medical technologist resulting in the recommendation for such fellows to be fired! The implications are too numerous to count, however it suffice to note that such a healthcare establishment not only loose this qualified personnel but waste too much resources in trying to gather information to pursue their myopic agenda. In other words healthcare facilities that lack the necessary professional environment and which does not support the genuine quest for quality healthcare services will always be at the losing end while at the same time shifting the cost burden on the patient.

WASHINGTON — A police chase Wednesday evening near the U.S. Capitol ended with police shooting and killing the fleeing man after he hit an officer with his car and brandished a gun at other officers.

U.S. Capitol Police spokeswoman Kimberly Schneider said the incident happened around 5:15 p.m. when police attempted to stop a white Mercedes Benz near Union Station. The car then fled and hit a police officer before driving the wrong way on Louisiana Avenue down Capitol Hill.

That officer was one of two injured in the incident. The other officer was hit while on a motorcycle.

As a practitioner in the medical and healthcare field without doubt America is among the country with the best healthcare specialists in the world. Nevertheless that assumption is not the same as having the best healthcare delivery system.

In fact, the country could be rank as one of the best place to seek medical intervention if you are a wealthy individual that can afford the exponentially expensive cost of providing such care. On the other hand, this country is about the worst rank in terms of providing the minimum and or most basic health care services to its poorest population and unfortunately many of us fall into this category.

I can understand the arguments of the GOP, Fox News and their allies, however what I will never be able to understand is the degree of inhumanity, dogmatism, sentimentalism and myopia that these interest groups represents and tends to propagate in a country that is consider to be one of the most developed.

With due respect, we commit the worst kind of medical malpractices and yet go without being punish especially for those who work in corporations that have attorneys that comprehensively understand the law and how to get by it. We are the most inhumane practitioners in the world and careless about the patient or people we attend to especially if such people do not have insurance coverage.

We provide the best possible care for the rich and wealthy, but humiliate the poor and less privilege in our society. The only time we might pretend to care for the less fortunate patient is in the presence of the media! In fact America was the first country I heard my patients referred to as CUSTOMERS! We treat patients as consumers and products rather than as human beings created in the image of God.

In spite of all the arguments against President Barack Obama's quest to change the way business is being done in the healthcare industry, I am surprise that none of these noble antagonists have ever conceded to the fact that there is a disproportionate pattern of treatment given to the poor and the rich, as opposed to the ethics of practice.

I AM JUST VERY SORRY FOR THE GOP, FOX NEWS AND THEIR CRONIES FOR ATTEMPTING TO MISLEAD THE AMERICAN PUBLIC WITH THEIR DOGMATISM. Without an iota of doubt the GOP desperation is becoming increasingly too obvious for comfort and to the extent that the same group of folks that supported President George Bush’s stimulus package are now blaming the President Barack Obama’s administration for the second stimulus package that every economists agreed was essential in other to miniaturized the ripple effects of the worst economic depression since the 1930’s.

I am shocked and at the same time feel very sorry for the GOP members that decided to be sentimental rather than factual; especially in light of the obvious fact that the economic crisis that was sequel to the lack of watchdogs on Wall Street’s and government inability to contain the Iraq and Afghanistan war during the President George Bush era resulted in a GLOBAL MELTDOWN! It is remarkably sad that today some of these folks are questioning the essentiality of the economic recovery stimulus package forgetting the fact that the situation was even worse than earlier envisaged.

Furthermore, these GOP’s are so myopic, sentimental and dogmatic in their thinking that they have even forgotten that President Barack Obama has just assumed the office of the Presidency in less than a year! The records are there for the entire world to see, that the 44th president by far has achieved a lot within a very short time indeed.

Americans must begin to appreciate the enormity of the economic depression and other maladies that the president inherited from former President George Bush and his GOP allies. This is the time for reckoning, rallying and support and not condemnation as the GOP’s would like us to believe. US opens 'major Afghan offensive'

The US army says it has launched a major offensive against the Taliban in south Afghanistan's Helmand province.

The US military says about 4,000 Marines as well as 650 Afghan troops are involved, supported by Nato planes.

Brigadier General Larry Nicholson said the operation was different from previous ones because of the "massive size of the force" and its speed.

A Taliban spokesman said they would resist in various ways and that there would be no permanent US victory.

Qari Yosuf Ahmadi added that "a large number" of Taliban were in the area.

Much Ado about Public Health Insurance Plan

Without delving into the complexity of arguments for and against the President Barack Obama’s inclination to introduce the public health insurance plan or rather an alternative to the exclusively privately run health insurance in the country, the reality at hand is that without an iota of doubt Americans are passionate and hungry for an alternative that will be affordable and does not sacrifice quality.

Why are there so many opposition to this plan, which in my opinion should be given a chance since it survival will be sequel to its successes? Those who argue against the plan just purely on a sentimental and ideological bases are missing the most essential part of the argument, namely if Americans feel confident about the plan, then allow it to play out, since the same Americans will turn their back on the plan if it fail to meet their expectation.

Much has been said about how America is a free society and where choices are based on personal inclinations, and the same is applicable even in our investment choices among others. While it may be true that proposing such a health insurance plan may be something unthinkable for those who are extremely opposed to it and further very difficult to sell the idea to them, without doubt, it should be noted as true that proponent did understand the necessity of giving the American people the kind of choices that are evident in our telephone services, postal services and so many other services that forces healthy competition.

Obama has displayed that, he is capable of leading us to the Promised Land; one which is flowing with justice and peace, love and happiness, honesty and the fear of God and respect for mankind.

Moreover, most frankly and on a very positive note, Obama is viewed as a unifier, rather than a divider. He has miniaturized the existence of discriminatory factors such as racism. It sufficed to note that, a lot of Sen. Obama’s supporters are essentially the majority of the American people and minorities too.

The exemplary display of maturity, calmness in the face of unhealthy and deceptive propaganda by special interests and lobbyist, has further endeared him to the generality of the Americans.

Suffice to note that, several authority are now laying claim as to his origin. Through genetic elucidation and studies, OBAMA is related to DICK CHENEY! By implication if, Cheney is from Italy, meaning, he is an Italian-American, then Obama is an Italian- American.

Surprisingly, am reading about Obama's Irish connection! Whaoooooooo! Should I say this is a great news or otherwise?

Colin Powell: A true Nationalist

Listening to the wisdom that comes from former Secretary of State Gen. Powell is so refreshing and at the same time consoling that I begin to wonder how on earth did the 43rd president of the country allowed the likes of Cheney to manipulate him and ended up deceiving the American people for nearly eight years.

I am convinced beyond reasonable doubt that the position of President Barack Obama on the debacle of closing the Guantanamo prison is the best option open to the country and in consonance with the international treaty that sort to promote democracy, freedom and fundamental human right.

Dick Cheney’s propaganda is simply a last resort action gear toward making sure that the current administration does not achieve what his government failed to do for the people of this country. The fact that the former Vice President is classifying the water boarding technique as legal and successful conspicuously underscores the recklessness and endangerment they subjected to country into.

Simple logic should have manifested to Dick Cheney and company that terrorists under bondage have greater tool of recruiting more of their kind especially when such bondage is subjective, inhumane and completely negate the essentiality of fair trial.

I am surprise that Mr. Cheney still have the effrontery to address the American public after all his administration has done to the psych of the American people and the bastardization of the country’s image at home and abroad.

Without an iota of doubt, the 44th president of the United States of America is a pragmatist, whose ideology is enshrined in his convictions that man must be free to live a free life without making the next door neighbor to be living in boundage. In order words, freedom must be temper with responsibility, reality, justice, peace and democracy.

Those who are uncomfortable with his recent stands especially in the quest to modify the military tribunal are being unfairly unrealistic for comfort. We must give kudos to the president for embracing a holistic mentality and doing all that is possible to keep America and the entire world safe.

It is not going to be an easy task, nevertheless he is moving in the right direction. For those who are angered by the president recent change of mind in regard to the above subject matter, my appeal to them is to sit down and weigh the implications before taking further actions that might have the tendencies of exposing the mentality that is both unrealistic and at the same time too artificial for comfort.

The reality is not far from comprehension at all; as a matter of fact President Barack Obama's approach so far has not only enlightened the entire world about his pragmatism and sincere inclinations to right the wrong of the past, but also manifest to humanity that when we are wrong we must admit the same and learn from our mistakes.

If the country has been blessed with a leader that consider other people's interest without compromising that of the country, especially in context of furthering the idealism and goals of humanity, maybe there could not have been a 911 attack on the USA in the first place. While this statement might be a hypothesis, it nevertheless suffice to note that one can win over enemies easily by being honest and exploring their mentality and in my opinion the president is moving in the right direction.

America does not need more enemies; what is most needed are allies and even those who disagree, to such it must be done in a fashion that is respectful, diplomatic and pragmatically enhance mankind quest for freedom, peace and justice.

I have never in my life seen a GOP and its cronies that are so out of touch with reality and too partisan for comfort! WASHINGTON (AFP) – Amid calls for torture prosecutions, former Bush administration officials Friday slammed President Barack Obama's release of terror interrogation memos, warning the move would fuel "timidity and fear" among US spies.

But in an editorial in The Wall Street Journal, former CIA director Michael Hayden and former attorney general Michael Mukasey charged that disclosure of the memos "was unnecessary as a legal matter, and is unsound as a matter of policy."

White House senior adviser David Axelrod countered that Obama's decision to release the memos written by top legal officials in George W. Bush's administration was "a weighty decision."

Obama "thought very long and hard about it, consulted widely, because there were two principles at stake," Axelrod told the Politico news website.

"One is the sanctity of covert operations and keeping faith with the people who do them, and the impact on national security, on the one hand. And the other was the law and his belief in transparency."

Obama vows to fight piracy after captain's rescue

MOMBASA, Kenya – President Barack Obama vowed Monday "to halt the rise of piracy," while shipmates of the rescued American freighter captain called for tough action against Somali bandits who are preying on one of the world's busiest sea routes.

Obama appeared to move up the piracy issue on his agenda, saying the United States would work with nations elsewhere in the world.

"I want to be very clear that we are resolved to halt the rise of piracy in that region and to achieve that goal, we're going to have to continue to work with our partners to prevent future attacks," Obama said at a Washington news conference.

Can Cuba cope with an onslaught of Americans?

HAVANA – A push in Congress to do away with U.S. travel bans on Cuba could set off a flood of American visitors to the long-forbidden island.

But many wonder if a country where foreigners have long complained about lousy food, sluggish service and iffy infrastructure is ready for an onslaught of Americans unseen since the days of Meyer Lansky and Al Capone.

Cuba has about as many hotel rooms as Detroit and most are already full of Canadians and Europeans. Experts say droves of Americans could drive up prices, unleash calls for more flights and cruises than Cuba can handle and force the government to tighten visa restrictions to regulate the stampede.

Minn. court declares Franken leading vote-getter

ST. PAUL, Minn. – A Minnesota court confirmed Monday that Democrat Al Franken won the most votes in his 2008 Senate race against Republican Norm Coleman, who had already announced plans to appeal the decision.

President Barack Obama is winning higher marks from Americans than the last three presidents early in their terms as he takes on a global recession, two wars and domestic fights over government spending, health care and taxes.

Obama’s approval rating climbed to a high of 66 percent in an April 1-5 New York Times/CBS News poll released today. The poll follows recent surveys by the Gallup Poll, Quinnipiac University and the Pew Research Center showing that about six out of 10 Americans approve of the job the president is doing.

Retrospective perspective on President Barack Obama and the world

Within the horizon of realism and without an iota of doubt, President Barack Obama to a greater extent has been able to pragmatically, systematically and diplomatically cushion the “free fall” from grace scenario that has confronted the country especially given the handling of the Iraq war.

While some skepticism remains, which should be usual given the level of decadency that was exhibited between Europe and America mostly in terms of bilateral relationship, I must give kudos to President Barack Obama for taking the world stage like a true Sheppard and not a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Must have been achieved and this prevailing momentum should not be allowed to die down, rather this is the time for consolidation and proliferation of the idealism of what America truly represents namely; freedom, democracy and fundamental human right. We must advocate the same position with the President in order to bring about the kind of world that posterity shall be happy with us.

The visit to the various heads of states collectively and individually is remarkable indeed and without doubt, I was sincerely pleased and astonishingly glad to see how President Barack Obama handle the various nefarious and topical issues that confronted him. His diplomatic and pragmatic posture is two elements that to a greater extent have the capacity to draw world leaders into buying his ideas and ideals for the world at large.

Please Americans must help this president to help make the world a better place beginning from home, here in the USA. A quick lesson learnt from this trip is the obvious fact that the world careless whether President Barack Obama was a Democrat or Republican! I do believe that what matter most is his target, goals, aims and objective for the world as enunciated even in his budget plan for the fiscal year which many Republicans are not willing to support as a result of ideological differences.

It is time to work and make this country great again and the 44th president has set the ball rolling it is now left to us to follow.

Much Ado about Bipartisanship

From a pragmatic perspective, bipartisanship is by far inconsequential in comparison to making America to be great again.

If the GOP feel the Democrat control House and Senate may kill bipartisanship as opposed to rather killing the inimical and excruciatingly dogmatic and archaic postulations it has, then I am sorry for them and urge democrats to move along the path of change and hope.

Where were the GOP's when the 43rd president was busy destroying our relationship with other nations, let alone making Americans to feel more insecure than any other time in the history of the country?

Fortunately, the USA is not the country of the blind where a one eyed man will rule!
