As many of us do, I believe that Obama will win if people are exposed to facts about the candidates and their positions. Unfortunately, many of these facts are often hard to find outside of partisan sites that the undecided people generally aren't visiting. So, I'm trying to put together a site that provides objective information about the candidates in an easy to digest quiz form. I'm trying to present the information in ways that will be palatable to the undecided and independent voters.

I'm hoping to create something that is useful for Obama supporters to send to people they know that are on the fence. I don't have a lot of questions up yet, but I wanted to get it out there as a place to start and get feedback and suggestions from the community here about other questions that would be good to ask. So if you're interested in this project, please check it out and let me know what you think. Thanks. http://www.truthtastic.com/

I want an Obama shirt with more detail

I made the mistake a while ago of planning a trip to Disney World for October 26- November 2 of this year. I wasn't thinking about the fact that it would be so close to the election and I'd want to be campaigning. But then I thought, well, I'll be in Florida with all its swingy goodness and surrounded by thousands of people from all over. So I could use that opportunity to some low-key Obama pushing.

I've already got a bunch of Obama paraphanelia, but what I'd really like is something with some more detail. Like something that has a comparison chart on the back of McCain versus Obama on key issues, like Iraq, the Economy, Healthcare, and the Environment. I'd love while standing in line or walking around to be able to spread actual key talking points rather than just showing support.

Does anyone know if anyone is selling anything like this? And what should be on the back of this theoretical shirt? Maybe if we design it the Obama team will make it for us.

About Experience

It drives me crazy when people say Obama has no experience. Aside from the fact that experience is not a good indicator of success, he has 10 years of experience in government, plus years of organizing and legal experience.

For a really interesting analysis of experience versus success for past presidents visit this link:

http://www.electoral-vote.com/index.html

It's interesting to note that 10 years of experience would put Obama about in the middle of the presidential pack in terms of experience, tied with Abraham Lincoln and just 2 years less than Bill Clinton.
