DRUG LIMITS LETTER TO SENATORS

Dear Senator ___________,

While I do not live in your state I feel my request will benefit all Americans.

First of all I want to thank you for all you are doing in the fight to get Health Care Reform passed this year. I commend you for being one of the US Senators fighting for health care reform and to bring to reality the late Senator Ted Kennedy's lifetime work that health care be a right for all Americans and not a privilege for a few.

I am writing you with the hopes that after you hear my story there may be someone on the Democrat side that will ask for an amendment to the Health Care Bill now being debated on the Senate floor. I feel an amendment to control the increases in drug costs that a pharmaceutical companies are allowed should be part of the bill. If not an amendment than some wording interjected to address the issue of rising drug costs that are obscene and boarder lining on criminal.

This past August my husband, Art, was diagnosed with cancer. Rather than getting chemo treatments my husband is going through Radiation and takes a cancer fighting drug called Nexavar. The first 2 months my husbands monthly statement listed Nexavar at $3200 for a one month supply. In October the cost went up to $4300 for a month supply and the most recent statement shows it now costs $6722 for a month supply without insurance.

While my husbands Medicare & Medicaid cover this pill 100%, I worry about the millions of people who this pill may may work for that are not insured, under insured or worse yet, have fallen into the dreaded donut hole. This pill works, in 2 months it totally removed the cancer mass my husband had on his right lung. I would hate to think there is a pill that cures lung cancer yet many will be deprived of taking it due to the cost. While my husband is special to me he is not that special that only he should have quality health care. I want all Americans to have what my husband has, the peace of mind in knowing if they get sick they are covered.

I hope after reading this, you or someone will ask for an amendment to control the increases a pharmaceutical company can be allowed. If not an amendment, at least an insert to the bill being debated addressing the issue. The increases I have seen over the last 3 months on my husbands monthly statement are obscene and are near close to criminal. I would even be so bold as to call it usury.

RESPECT THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT

DOES HAVING THE AUDACITY TO REFORM HEALTH CARE WARRANT DISRESPECT FOR OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA? For the first time in the history of our great nation we have a President, who not only has the audacity to reform health care, but has gotten further than any other past President.

While President Barack Obama and his supporters work in ernest to get a bill signed into law before the end of the year, those who oppose health care reform have also progressed with their agenda. Their agenda seems to include disrespect for the office of the President of the United States of America. Everywhere you look these days from the media, to talk show hosts to people in opposing parties, even among our elected officials, there is excessive disrespect for our President. You'll hear the President referred to as Barak, as Obama, as Mr Obama but not what it should be. President Barack Obama.

I am 61 years old, I have been through several Presidents and I do not recall a past President shown such disrespect. President Obama himself refers to past Presidents as President or former President. He shows respect for former Presidents and he deserve the same in return.

This is a two party country and we all will never agree on everything. We certainly are seeing that as we fight our way to health care reform. There is one thing we all should and must agree on, the office of the President of the United States of America deserves nothing less than respect.

So my fellow Americans, I ask you to please remember, it's President Barack Obama. The President who has the audacity to reform our health care system.

Dear Senator LeMieux:

I am in receipt of your recent newsletter concerning Health Care Reform and I am very disturbed that you have chosen to stand united with your party in opposition to Health Care Reform at any and all costs. I realize it takes a lot of courage to cross party lines but it would be the right and moral thing to do.

It has been clear from the onset that your party has decided to "kill the bill" no matter who suffers.

While it may be true you have nothing to loose by opposing HCR because you are a temporary Senator until the 2010 election decides who the next Senator from Florida will be, you have much to gain by supporting it.

In supporting HRC you can leave an lasting mark that you helped millions of Americans.

As one of the 46 million Americans without Health Care and has a pre-existing condition I feel I must make one last attempt and appeal to your human side.

I have to ask how you can justify the death of 44,000 Americans due to lack of health care or being under insured. That number will only increase unless HCR is passed. I also have to ask how you justify the fact that 46 millions Americans lack Health Care. Another number sure to increase without HCR.

My last question is why do you oppose the very Health Care you have as a US Senator for millions of Americans?

I hope before you cast your vote tomorrow you keep all that's at stake in mind and vote "yes" to getting the Senate HC Bill to the floor for debate and that you vote "yes" when it is time to vote of the final bill.

HEALTH CARE REFORM AND HOW OUR LEGISLATORS HAVE VOTED AND WILL VOTE As I sit here, I can't help but wonder how so many of our US Congress Men and Women can face the people in their districts after voting No this past Saturday for Health Care Reform. I also wonder how they can face themselves by having voted NO for Health Care Reform this past Saturday.

To all to all those who voted yes, I say "Thank You" and I will show my thanks come the next elections. I commend Speaker Pelosi for her leadership and her determination in getting the House bill passed. A special thanks to you, Madam Speaker!

To those who voted no, I have just a few questions. How do you justify the loss of 44,000 lives lost each year due to lack of health care or being under insured? How do you justify that number increasing if we do not get Health Care Reform passed this year? How do you justify 46 million people uninsured and having that number increasing if we do not get health care reform passed this year? My last question to those who voted NO this past Saturday. Will you be willing to give up your Health Care? The health Care you received the very first day of your job, the health care mostly paid by the US taxpayers? Will you be will to go out on your own and try to purchase Health Care without having all the benefits you now get? Somehow, I think I know the answer.

I find it very sad and shameful that so many of our elected officials feel all Americans are not worthy of Health Care as a basic right. I can only hope and pray for those so against health care reform that they will see the light and vote yes and get Health Care Reform passed for all Americans in 2009.

SHARING SOME GOOD NEWS ..... MR GOSAL UPDATE!

Just thought I give everyone a little uplift here today. While some may look at yesterday in Virginia & Jersey as a loss, I look at it as a challenge. It's a reminder that we still have work to do and we will do it. As we face these challenges in the days ahead we must never lose sight of our "HOPE".

For all of us here "HOPE" has been our main mantra. And if there's anyone here who wants another taste of what "HOPE" and hard work can do here it is.

Art started his radiation treatments last week. Of the 25 he will have to have he has had 5 leaving 20 more to go. Yesterday the doctor showed us the most recent CT Scan and there are signs the tumor on his liver are shrinking. After all 25 he will have another complete body scan and we'll have the complete picture. But for now, the fact that the tumor is shrinking is great news. Together Art & I work very hard to keep him healthy and get him to these treatments everyday. Not once have we given up "HOPE' nor do we intend to.

So my message to everyone, if my Art/Mr Gosal can hold on to his "HOPE' and beat something as dreadful as Cancer than we all can hold on to our "HOPE" and beat anyone who dares get in our way!

So as you all help me with your support and prayers to mop the cancer out of Art's body I promise to stay right here with you all and help mop the slop the opposition dishes out!

REMEMBERING ONE YEAR AGO .......

This final days of the 2008 Presidential Campaign was a turning point for me. I am a boomer, meaning I was around, very loudly I might add, in the 60's. I marched for peace, I protested against the Viet Nam War, I marched for racial and women's equality. I had to live through the tragic deaths of JFK, RFK and Dr. King. I had the honor of attending the funeral of JFK even though it was an event I wish did not have to happen. The were masses of people at the funeral of JFK. There were even more at Inauguration of President Obama. It was a celebration. It took 50 long years for this event to become possible and I was elated to have it happen in my lifetime. While the 50 years were a long time to wait, there were at last epic results. I place the importance of President Obama's inauguration right up there with my husband and my family. I am grateful to everyone who joined me in supporting and getting Barack Obama elected as our 44th President of the United States of America. Thank You President Obama, God Bless You and God Bless the United States of America

MR GOSAL UPDATE ~~ SUNDAY 10/25/2009

Hi O Family!

I wasn't going to do this until tomorrow or Tuesday, but I see so many regulars on the blog now it seemed like a good time.

Art is about to enter the final stage of his cancer treatment. In my last post/update I told you all that his head, where the tumor was, is clean. Cancer gone. The right lung, where there was a mass is now a crater (the doctor's own words). The cancer is gone from the lung.

Art is about to enter the final stage of his treatment.

Last week Art had a complete body MRI. We got the results this past Friday and it turns out Art is an excellent candidate for radiation treatments. On Tuesday, coming up, he will begin his treatments. He'll have 25 of them and they each take about 2 minutes. The radiologist uses a more direct method than most. Last week he made a special patient table formed to Art's body so the radiation only goes to the area of his liver where the cancer is. I did some research and 25 treatment seems to be the normal. Art has responded to everything his doctor's have recommended so I have to trust the radiation will be successful.

I can't help but feel certain that between the wonderful team of doctors Art has and your prayers is the reason Art will have nothing but a complete and total recovery.

HAPPINESS IS A MAN CALLED "MR GOSAL" ...... Update for 10/15/2009

Hi O Family!

It's been awhile since I posted a Mr. Gosal update. Mainly because there was nothing new to report, but today there is. And guess what? It's fantastic news, better than Art & I ever thought possible.

Today we got the results back from last Monday's tests. The area in his head where the tumor was is clean, no cancer. Even though the bone will not grow back, calcium will build up to some extent, so he will not have quite a big a soft spot he now has. It will fill in to some degree. That's what's happening right now, the is calcium is forming. The mass on his right lung is now, and I'll quote the doctor..... "Art, Marilyn.... the mass that was there is now a crater." Meaning the cancer that was on his right lung is gone. The 3rd area, the mass on his liver, has only grown a tiny bit and the doctor feels very strongly that radiation will knock it out as opposed to chemo. We found out the liver mass has been there a lot longer than we originally thought. So it will take additional treatment along with the cancer fighting pills he has been taking. These pills knocked the lung cancer out in only 2 months. So the doctor feels the combination of continuing the pills and the radiation should clear up his liver.

While someone else in Art's situation may be upset that all the cancer is not gone, we feel just the opposite. In a short time his body has healed faster than predicted and instead of three masses he is now down to one. That to us is something to celebrate, not get depressed about.

I know all the support, candles and prayers from our O Family on this blog has contributed to Art's recovery and will take him through this final stage. We could not have gotten where we are today without every one of you and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

An Open Letter To All US Senators and Congressmen.....

I am submitting this letter in the hopes that after you read the information I am putting out there, those of in opposition will make a decision to support Health Care Reform with a robust & strong public option. Based on what I read in this article, what every member of Congress has is a public option, a government plan.

All I'm asking is for the same quality health care you all have and if you still can't commit to a public option then I will ask that you give up your Health Insurance. If you feel it's not in my best interest to have a public option then it should not be in your best interest. I see no reason that should you continue to have a health care plan that you so strongly disapprove of.

Below is information I found concerning Federal Employees Health Insurance.

Federal Employees Health Benefits ProgramAs soon as members of Congress are sworn in, they may participate in the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP). The program offers an assortment of health plans from which to choose, including fee-for-service, point-of-service, and health maintenance organizations (HMOs). In addition, Congress members can also insure their spouses and their dependents.Not only does Congress get to choose from a wide range of plans, but there's no waiting period. Unlike many Americans who must struggle against precondition clauses or are even denied coverage because of those preconditions, Senators and Representatives are covered no matter what - effective immediately.

And here's the best part. The government pays up to 75 percent of the premium. That government, of course, is funded by taxpayers, the same taxpayers who often cannot afford health care themselves.

HEALTH CARE REFORM CAN NOT WAIT!

There has been a debate going on in Congress over Health Care Reform for the last 50 years.

Those on the left say 50 years is too long and the time for discussion is over and now it is time to act. To all the elected officials fighting for Health Care for all Americans, I thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I will show my thanks come 2010. Do I agree? You bet your life I do! And if we do not get Health Care Reform with a strong Public Option it could very well be your life or my life and thousands of lives.

Those on the right, and some in the center, say we can't rush something as important as Health Care Reform. Do I agree? No! We can't afford not to get Health Care Reform passed this year. It's not a matter of rushing into getting a bill on President Obama's desk by the end of the year. To me, 50 years of discussion is not rushing into anything. By most people's opinion, that's long enough. So to any elected official who feels they can not be rushed when it comes to Health Care Reform, I say to you ...... find yourself another job or I will help towards that other job come the elections of 2010.

Hi O Sisters & O Family,

9/24/2009 Mr Gosal update .......

I'm sure by now many of you have wondered where I've been. Well, all I can say, is NOT having fun. Just once more getting tested as to the endurance of my strength. Honestly, all people have to do is ask any of you guys. You all know my strength so the next time I'm going to direct anyone who wants to know to you all. No more trips to the hospital!!!

I know Vagg, my bestest Big sis, Jackie has filled you in all some of what's gone on. So here's the rest ..........

Here's what happened. When the tumor was removed last month the surgeon put a mesh extension where the tumor had eaten away a part of the bone in Art's skull. The reason for the mesh and not a steel plate is because the doctor feels this bone may grow back and a steel plate would prevent the possibility of that happening. This past Saturday morning we noticed a clear yellowish liquid coming from the area of the incision where there was still a small scab not yet healed. By Monday when it didn't stop we called the doctor who sent us back to the surgeon. His initial reaction was the cranial spinal fluid (fluid around the brain) was dripping out and he immediately put him in the hospital. Initially he was going to take out the original mesh and put a new one in. When he got in there today he discovered there was a slight infection which was way better than the fluid from the brain leaking. He also said the infection was because Art's body was rejecting the mesh insert and the doctor said some people just don't adapt to them. So today he cleaned out the infection, removed the mesh and sewed him back up. He did not put a new mesh extension in. He also said the cancer is getting smaller faster than he ever imagined. So even though we had this emergency rush back into surgery it turned out it was a good thing because his body was saying ..... "get that mesh out of my head so my skull bone can grow back naturally". We realize it's months away but a good sign none the less.

So that's the what happened.

WHERE ARE YOU WHEN I NEED YOU?

To all United States Senators and Congressmen opposed to Health Care Reform with a strong Public Option, I have something I'd like to address.

When you called upon me to go door to door to get you elected, I was there. When you called upon me to make phone calls to help get you elected, I was there. When you called upon me to get people to register to vote, I was there. When you called upon me to remind people to get out and vote, I was there. When you called upon me to volunteer to drive people to the polls to vote, I was there. And foremost on my mind right now is when you called upon me from your first day in office to use my tax dollars to pay for the better part of your health care insurance, I was there.

Now I'm calling upon you to allow me the same right to the very same health care insurance you have by committing to support Health Care Reform with a Public Option and I can't seem to find you. Where are you?

I realize change is harder than staying with the status quo and I realize at times it may even be unpopular. I also realize when President Obama says .... this is America, we don't do what's easy, we do what's right..... the what's right part is what we elected you to do. To do what's right for all Americans.

I promise you, if you support Health Care Reform with a strong Public Option, many Americans will also do what's right and help get you re-elected. What's right is quality health care for all Americans as a right and not a privilege.

So what's it going to be? Will you be there for me and 46 million Americans as we were there for you?

SENIORS ARE VERY SPECIAL PEOPLE .......

I just had a very troubling experience while sitting in the waiting room at my husband's doctor's office. Immediately after the incident I came up with an idea I want to run by you all and see if there's anything you want to add.

I was sitting next to an elderly man, I'm guessing he was somewhere between 70 and 75 years old. When I first noticed him I got all excited because he was reading "Audacity of Hope". In my mind it was .... oh, goody, one of us. How wrong I was. I asked him if he was enjoying the book. His reply was, "I don't know yet as I just started to read it but I'm sure it will be full of more of the same propaganda". After I got beyond my rage and anger I tried to find out what it was about PBO that made him feel that way. I got the ever so popular answer about not wanting the government in his medical business and didn't want anyone messing with his medicare. I explained to him Medicare is a government run plan and all we are fighting for by wanting a public option as part of HCR for 50 million uninsured Americans was the same plan he has. He had no reply and shortly after we were called in to see the doctor.

As disturbing as this incident was to me it gave me an idea. We all may want to contact our local DNC and OFA local organizers and suggest they start having town hall meetings for seniors only. We need to get them away form all the people out there trying to convince them how bad a PO would be with all the fear and lies. I feel if we get them in a meeting solely for Seniors we may be able to get rid of their fear and replace it with the facts. I'm thinking that handing them a form with questions may help.

Sample questions .....
Do you have medicare?
Do you have private insurance?
Are you happy with what you now have?
If you were assured you can keep your doctor & the insurance you now have will you agree to a PO?

WHEN DID MEDICARE & MEDICAID STOP BEING GOVERNMENT RUN HEALTH CARE?

I must have been out sick the day the memo was sent around stating Medicare & Madicaid are no longer government run health care plans!

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), ranking member on the Senate Finance Committee, said that in countries with government-run health care, Kennedy “would not get the care he gets here because of his age.” Instead, the government would decide to spend health care resources on younger people “who can contribute to the economy”.

First of all, I take personal offense to Senator Grassley's statement. Today my husband, who is 70 years old, underwent surgery to have a tumor removed from his head.

My husband has Meidacre & Medicaid. He selected his own specialist, his own surgeon, the total cost was $4 up to and including today's surgery. He will be starting chemo therapy in about one week and that too, will be totally covered.

So to those believe elderly people on government run health care plans would be turned down and left to die. My husband is proof that is not so.

THE WASTED COSTS OF THE CURRENT HEALTH CARE SYSTEM

If anyone out still wants to question that there are wasted costs in the Medicare system we currently have, let me share my personal story.

My husband is 70 years old, he has Medicare and Medicaid. He is currently going through some very serious health issues. Over the past 4 weeks in trying to find the right physician to take care of him, he has had various tests done by several doctors. On Thursday of last week we finally found the right specialist needed to treat his illness. Once again, more tests were ordered. While waiting at the lab for my husband to get done with his tests I asked what happened to all the previous tests he had done. I was informed they were just sitting in the file there at the lab, no doctor had asked for them. I asked if I could have them. I was first told no, a doctor had to give permission to have them released. I politely corrected that person and explained they were my husband's property and I wanted them.

Once we got home and looked at all the tests from the past 4 weeks we realized how many were the same test. I could understand a 2nd request for a test already done, but 4 of the same. This, in my opinion, is a waste of money. This is the Medicare cost waste that President Obama speaks about, not taking away coverage or affecting Medicare coverage, just eliminating wasted costs.

I can't help but wonder if what it cost for all the tests done on my husband when only 2 would have been sufficient could maybe have paid for health care for one person for an entire year!

HEALTH CARE REFORM HAS BECOME VERY PERSONAL FOR ME ....

Once again, I'm about to wear my heart on my sleeve and share my personal story. I have submitted this to "share my story" and sent it out as a letter to editors.

Three weeks ago my husband discovered a lump in the back of his head just above his neck. After several appointments with his regular physician, comprehensive blood work, and 2 MRI's, it was determined that he has a tumor. He was told to find a cancer specialist in order to have a biopsy done to find out if the tumor is benign or cancerous.

Ever since, we have been trying to find a specialist. We asked his regular care physician for a recommendation and were told we have to find the specialist on our own. So far we have had 3 replies of not being able to get an appointment for at least 4 weeks and 4 replies of getting our called returned but never getting our call returned.

In all this time the lump has gotten bigger. My only recourse is to take him to our local hospital, explain the situation and demand they call in a specialist to do the biopsy.

This is not a case of not having health care coverage. My husband has complete coverage, no deductible and no co-pay, yet he has still has to wait weeks to see a doctor. This may very well turn out to be a life threatening situation, yet he still waits to see a specialist.

Yet some will say the Health Care System in our country is just fine the way it is. To those people I can only ask ...."will you still feel that way if it were your husband?"

I am sharing my story because I want to send a message out to people who are against any form of Health Care Reform with a Public Option. Some seem to think they will wait to see a doctor or not be able to chose their own doctor. Well guess what, under our current system, you do wait to see a doctor. My husband is living proof of that fact. And as far as having a doctor chosen for me, right at this very moment if that were the only way to get him this much needed appointment for a biopsy, I would gladly welcome that too!

THE URGENCY FOR HEALTH CARE REFORM WITH A PUBLIC OPTION

If there are still people out there who think we do not need need fix what's broken with Heath Care in our country, I have a suggestion.

Every Govenor, Senator, Representative, Mayor and any American who have not yet joined the fight for Health Care Reform with a strong Public Option should spend one day a week just sitting in the waiting room of a hospital Emergency Room.

Recently I had to take a family member to the ER and while there what I observed just broke my heart. I saw people who had health insurance walk in and get seen by the doctor in minutes. But more important, I saw people without health insurance walk in and wait hours to be seen. There was a mother with a baby two months old waiting to be seen. I couldn't help over hear the mother say she had no health insurance for her baby. I heard that mother call her home to let her family know she was still waiting for the doctor. I knew we arrived hours after she did, yet we were seen before her. I can only attribute it to the fact that my family member had health insurance. That's not right.

Maybe those opposed to Health Care Reform, those who feel it's not needed, many of whom are our elected officials, need to sit in an ER for an entire day, for several days, even a full week. After observing what I observed at the ER, maybe they will get it. The urgency and need for Health Reform with a strong Public Option.

Every place you look these days, the main topic is Health Care Reform. Whether it be heard on the morning or evening news, radio stations around the country, at water coolers, break rooms and lunch rooms at the office or at your own dining room table, there is much discussion. The dining rooms table conversations are where health care reform is most talked about. It is where every day Middle Class Americans have serious discussions. They have the most to benefit from Health Care Reform. Forty six million of those Americans have no health care.

Some of the comments we are hearing are ..... we need health care reform, our health care system is broken, legislators recognize we need some kind of health care reform, legislators are scared to do what's right because they that may not get campaign donations from those opposed to health care reform. Some are for a single payer system, some are against it. Some are for a strong public option, others are against it. Some say the debt will take centuries to pay back, others say health care reform came be done without a bug debt.

President Obama promised Americans Health Care Reform would get done during his first year in office. Senators and Representatives either have a very short memory or are just not paying attention or hearing what Americans are saying they want included in the bill.

The first thing that we have to realize is our country does not have a Health Care System, it has a health Care Industry. A Health Care Industry does not make and keep people healthy it only makes and keeps the wallets of the Health Care Industry healthy.

We know a single payer system is not to be in this go around, but Health Care Reform with a good and strong public option is something that can be done. If your Senator or Representative is showing resistance to a public option then it's time to show them who they work for. We voted them in and we can vote them out.

They have been discussing Health Care Reform for over 30 years, it's time to stop discussing and act!

THE MAIN STREAM MEDIA AND IT"S VIEWS

I writing this letter, as I so often do, with the hopes of it getting printed, which brings me to what I want to say.

It seems for the most part, when I read letters to the editor of newspapers around the country, most of the ones printed are from the view from the right.

These letters continually say President Obama is doing too much, President Obama is not doing enough, Presdient Obama's direction of taking the country has failed and just an ongoing parade of Presidential bashing.

These letters leave no room for good healthy debate because very few letters are printed from writers expressing a view from the left.

There can be several reasons the media does not print the views from some, yet always prints the views of others. As with most things, my first thought is money. People will stop subscriptions if both sides of issues are printed. The other reason is the truth will be printed. Americans want the truth, they want transparency, what's printed, for the most part, does not do this.

Wake up Main Stream Media. Americans are paying attention more than they ever have. If you should lose business it will not be because your printed the truth, it will be because you did not print the entire truth.

Americans deserve better than they are getting. Try printing the news, the whole news and nothing but the news, in it's entirety!

WHO WILL BE NEXT?

There is an overwhelming cry across the United States for Health Care Reform with a strong Public Option. Calls and E Mails are going out to our elected officials, letters are being written to newspapers across the country. The question is ....... Is anyone listening?

I hope so. Over the past month five of my friends had to deal with very serious, and in some cases, life threatening health issues. Three of the five have no health care at all, the remaining two have coverage but are under insured. The costs to get these people back to health could result in not making a mortgage payment, not paying rent, figuring out out to put food on the table and not sending a child to college.

We claim to be the country with the best of everything, especially Health Care. If this is our best I'd hate to see what the worst is.

Fellow Americans, I am asking you today to please join in the Grassroots movement so that Health Care Reform is passed this year, and that is has a strong Public Option.

Call your Senators and Representatives, call the White House, do whatever you have to, but do something.

These days one can't go many places without hearing about Health Care or I should say lack of in the United States.

Today was a day where groups of people all over the Unites States attended events having to do with Health Care Reform. These events were all organized by volunteers. There was no compensation other than than the fact that the events were successful. Since these events were successful then the argument that we don't need Health Care Reform becomes a false statement. Today was just more proof of how much we do need Health Care Reform, and it must include a public option.

There is something else that can be done to prove the need for Health Care Reform with a public option. I am putting a dare out there to Doctors, Nurses and all Health Care Workers. Today Americans did their part. Are you willing to do yours?

How about organizing your own Health Care Day in cities all around the United States and volunteering your time and your service. I'm not talking about a day where blood pressure is taken and weight is checked. I talking about a Health Care Day where Pap Tests and Mammograms for women without Health Care Coverage are given at no charge. A Health Care Day where prostate exams are given to men without Health Care Coverage at no charge.

A Health Care Day like this would bring out hundreds maybe thousands of people because they do not have health care coverage to afford these tests otherwise. That would prove once again that there is an urgency and need for a public option to be included in Health Care Reform.

So to all Health Care workers, are you ready to do your part and volunteer just as Middle Class Americans did all over the United States today? We, Middle Class Americans,are not asking you to anything we don't do on a regular basis.

I haven't had health care for too many years to even mention. Either because I can not afford my own plan or the policy from my employer had a very high employee cost. So, not by choice, I had to go without health care. I suffer from MS and in order to even start a disability process one must go to a doctor. No doctor will see me because an initial visit cost anywhere from $160 and up. Right now I have lost my job for a 2nd time in this recession so it is not possible for me to even go to a doctor. I avoid going to an emergency room because that will only raise the costs for others. Why would I want to sit for 6 hours in an Emergency Room only to get a $30 aspirin? So you see, I have a very personal stake in Health Care Reform, a system where all Americans can be covered. While many may want to remain in denial, our country does not have a Health Care System, it has a Health Care Industry. The main topic everywhere one looks these days is all about Health Care Reform. I am all for Health Care Reform. We must fix what is broken and get the 46 million people who are currently uninsured health care.

Before we can fix what is broken we must first realize that here in America we do not have a Heath Care System, we have a Health Care Industry.

It is a shame that some of our politicians are afraid to insult that Health Care Industry by the mere thought of implementing Universal Health Care that other countries successfully have. For too long the Health Care Industry has given campaign donations that result in these very same anti Universal Health Care politicians getting re-elected.

I hope and pray that in 2010 it will be different. Americans are too smart, we have finally seen the light. While I realize Universal Health Care is not going happen we can and we must have a public option.

So my fellow Americans, in 2010 we must vote for what's best for the people. This year, I am confident we will finally see Health Care Reform resulting in a Health Care System not what we have had for too long, a Health Care Industry. We must make sure we elect the people who are so tirelessly fighting for us right now and not re-elect those who are against us.

I write to you today concerning the American Recovery & Reinvestment Plan.

As I listen, along with many other Americans, to the news every day aside from the Cabinet appointments by President Obama, the main topic is the economy.

Right now the bill is on the Senate floor being discussed and getting changes made. As the debates go back and forth among your fellow Senators every change hits the news wires and the American public hear what's going on.

It seems the Republicans are putting up a lot of resistance, which should come as no surprise to you and your fellow Democrats. It certainly comes as no surprise to me. What does come as a surprise to me is your reaction to the Republican Senators.

Now that being said, and with no disrespect to you, I have a few questions.

First of all, the news reporters are saying that they hear from the Republican Senators the American people do not want a Recovery Package, or a stimulus package as they are so calling it. I have no idea what Americans they are talking about, it surely is not the American public I am part of. I and many others have written to the Republican Senators repeatedly saying that we do want a Recovery Package and we want it as soon as possible. My question then is, what Americans are they talking about?

My second and final question concerns you. Again, the news reporters are saying you are caving in to the Republicans. Why? You are a Democrat, the Democrats won the White House, the Democrats won the House and we did a pretty good job in the Senate. We are your supporters, we will stand behind you. So please, do the right thing and stand up to your Republican Senators and get the American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan passed in the Senate.

I am among the 2.6 million people who lost my job last year and I would much rather be working than collecting Emergency Unemployment Benefits.

I hear from every Republican on all the talk shows that Americans do not want the package as it now stands. That is not true. We call and e mail the Republican offices and either get treated rudely, hung up on or told no one can help us. Why would Americans not wants jobs, health care, extended unemployment & food stamps for those who need it, new roads & bridges that create jobs, education reform and elderly care? And another question I have for you, why are the Republican Senators lying about what the people in their districts are asking for in a Recovery Package? We are asking for just the opposite of what you are telling the news reporters we want. As far as the changes you are asking for on the Senate floor, are you asking for these changes only to have everyone vote no once again? Dear Senator Reid, I write to you today as an American who is very concerned where your fellow Republicans in the Senate want to take our country. While I do not claim to be an economist, I do understand basic math. Aside from more tax cuts I hear nothing else from them as to how to make President Obama's Rescue Package better. Under the Reagan and both Bush Administrations we have all seen where tax cuts went, to the top 1% of Americans. Now we have a President who cares enough about the other 95% of us to not only give us the tax cuts, but give us jobs, health care, extended unemployment & food stamp benefits for those who need it, improved roads & bridges, education reform and care for the elderly. Your fellow Republican Senators seems to feel if they ignore us we will go away. We have a President who continually tells us to let our voices be heard and that is what we are doing. What we get in return are lies. All I hear from Republicans is that we, the Middle Class Americans, say we do not want a Rescue Package. That is not true, we call their offices and e mail them and what we get is hung up on, we are told no one is there to take our call and treated rudely. They are on talk shows telling people we do not want anything but tax cuts. Think about it, why would we not want all the things I have mentioned above? Now they want to yet again amend the Package on the Senate floor. Well, as you well know, that was done in the House and yet we got not one Republican vote. Are we being asked once again to amend the package in the Senate with items the Republicans want to get the same result, no Republican votes? This seems like a lot of time wasted for no more votes than would have been cast without all the changes. While time gets wasted the economy gets worse, more job and home loses occur, less food on peoples tables. Need I go on. This inauguration is a turning point for me. I am a boomer meaning I was around, very loudly I might add, in the 60's. I marched for peace, I protested against the Viet Nam War, I marched for racial and women's equality.

I had to live through the tragic deaths of JFK, RFK and Dr. King. I had the honor of attending the funeral of JFK even though it was an event I wish did not have to happen.

The were masses of people at the funeral of JFK. There will be even more at PE Obama's inaguration. It will be a celebration.

It took 50 long years for this event to become possible and I am elated it is in my lifetime. While the 50 years were a long time to wait, there at last epic results.

I place the importance of this inauguration right up there with my husband and my family.

I am grateful to everyone who joined me in supporting and getting Barack Obama elected as our 44th President of the United States of America.

Good Morning All! It's the little blue girl from the big red town of Welaka, Florida checking in. I hope everyone is fine on this nice, sunny and crisp morning down here and everywhere. The unemployment numbers for November have just been released. A half a million jobs have been lost in November alone. I lost mine back in June so I'm pretty used to living on a very tight budget. My heart goes out to each and every person that lost their jobs. The November people especially sadden me, it's so close to XMAS. Why couldn't they wait until after the holidays? The rate of unemployment is nearing the highest in 30 years. Last month it was the highest in 18 years. That's a big jump in 1 month. Today, once again, I am asking you all for a moment of unity. Let's say at 12 noon EST that we all stop for a moment a say a prayer for all the unemployed and put out good vibes to them that it won't be long until President-Elect Obama takes the oath of office and things will get better. We all have hope but some of us have some to spare and right now we need to share our extra hope with those who are feeling desperate right now.

SECRETARY OF STATE.........There is one fact that no one can take from Senator Hillary Clinton. SHE LOVES THIS COUNTRY, she has done so since she was a young woman. It seems from many of the posts I have been reading some people seems to be fickle in what their country means to them. I supported Barack Obama because I wanted a President smarter than me and I believe that is what I got. At this critical time we need to concentrate of fixing relationships here in our own country and abroad. How will we ever restore our reputation around the world, that Bush so recklessly destroyed, if we are seen not getting along right here in the United States? The majority of people elected President-Elect Barack Obama and if senators that are both Democrat & Republican can respect his choice of SOS, as I heard yesterday on every Sunday morning show, then the least we can do is respect his judgement. As he said, we are not the Blue States, we are not the Red States, we are the UNITED STATES.

I live in the United States of America, I am free, I am thankful. I have a wonderful husband, loving children and the gifts of precious grandchildren and great grandchildren who are healthy, I am thankful. I have a home, though it may be a humble abode, a tiny RV, I am not homeless, I am thankful. And the list goes on and on. Last but not least, I have a new President who will continue to allow me to have all the wonderful rights every American cherishes. I woke up this morning early because if I don't call in my unemployment weeks by 7 AM it takes all day. There are so many people out of work, my county leads the pack here in Florida. Over 7% out of work in Putnam county, Fl. After I did that I read my e mail only to read all about how Citi Bank's stock fell to $4 a share and they asked for another $20B, will get it, on top of the $25 they already got from the $710B. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but the whole purpose of banks getting money in Sept. was to help people (taxpayers) with their mortgages. I don't believe it happened. Has anyone on this blog got help with their mortgages yet? I'd be curious to know. We need to do something! HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH? Are these morons up in DC going to bleed us for the next 60 days. We need to get a massive group up there and march like we did in the 60's! ANY ONE INTERESTED?

While I was out campaigning and canvassing for Barack there were days I so often asked myself if people were ever going to hear me. Was anyone listening to me? Would I ever get my message across about how much as a country we needed Barack Obama elected our next President? Well, one day I got a call from one of my girlfriends. She called to tell me her husband, a life long Republican, who always voted Republican, had just gotten home from re registering as a Democrat and he took advantage of our early voting here in Florida and voted for Barack. From that moment on I refused to allow hopelessness and frustration to over take my mission. I knew that very moment, from that phone call who our next President was going to be. The rest is history. As I sit here and read the blog posts I find myself wondering if we have forgotten what it is about President-Elect Barack Obama that we love and admire. If we all took a moment we will recall that it was his compassion, his love for his family, his love for his country, his repeated reaching out to all Americans, his strong desire for peace and harmony. And the list goes on and on and on. So far, with a few exceptions, we have all managed to find fault with every appointment he has announced to his administration. Had we used our voices half as much over the last 8 years maybe our country would not be in the economic crisis it's in, we may not be in 2 wars we have no business being in, we would be already using alternate fuel, we would have a better health care system. And again, the list goes on and on. Now we have someone we put our hope and trust in by electing him and so far we find nothing but fault. President-Elect Obama has stated that we will not always agree with him but he continually asks that we never lose sight of his goals and to trust him. For the past 8 years we have all been so quite one would think we lost our voices. We where we all then? It amazes me that for so long we had nothing to say about the worst president in the history of the United States yet we find so much to complain about the man we elected. If we have all this new found knowledge and wisdom why were we not right there with the others who ran for President? God knows, it was a 2 year campaign, we could have convinced people why we were best for the job. But we didn't. The bottom line is the best person did win and now we have to support our choice and leave him alone to continue to select his staff. Yes, it is the time for change, but that change does not begin until January 20, 2009. That change can only come with the best and brightest people at his side. PLEASE, STOP WHINING AND BICKERING! I think her kindness in making the new First Family, the Obama's, feel welcome is to be commended. The lives of these 2 little girls is going to change more than they can understand at their ages and Laura Bush is helping their transition.

As one of the millions who lost a job this past year and after working since I was 14 years old being unable to find work and yet finding money to donate to the campaign because I felt it was important I find this constant asking for more money to be an embarrassing. There are many other ways those of us who are financially strapped can still and will continue to help without giving money. I hope there is a level of understanding why some of us can not give money every time we are asked.

"I'M ASKING YOU TO BELIEVE". I have taken that quote from the top of PRESIDENT-ELECT BARACK OBAMA'S WEB PAGE. It is his own words. We put our trust in him when we elected him. We believed in his words that change will come, it will not be easy and will require a lot of hard work. He even went on to say it may take his entire first term. In order to get to that point in time he must select his staff. Sometimes we are too quick to judge, which is why it took us a lifetime to elect our first African-American President, why we get into wars we have no business being in and why we are still dependent on foreign oil, just to name a few. While we are all entitled to our opinions we have to show him respect and believe in our hearts that who ever he chooses he knows what he is doing and is doing it for the good of all of us and our country. Whether he picks Senator Clinton, Gov. Richardson or Senator Kerry for his SOS we have to continue to show him the same support we did for the past 2 years and respect his intelligence. While we may not agree or even support his choices we should not lose sight of the fact that he is looking to the future as the visionary he is and only wants what is best for everyone. Whatever anyone may think of HRC, SHE LOVES HER COUNTRY. From a young woman, she has never faltered from that. The bottom line here is that we had a 2 year campaign and that's a lot of time to sling mud, and mud was slung. But he election is now over, we have President-Elect Barack Obama. He won because he is brilliant, he rose above everything that was thrown his way, he stuck to the issues and came out the winner. HRC was never far behind him. If we think back many of their speeches we will recall want they want for our country are the same things. Middle Class America was on top of both their lists . While many may say she did not immediately get up and get on the trail for Barack and find fault with that, I think in the same position we all would have needed some space to re-group. Once the dust settled she was able to get out there and campaign as she always does, with her all. As far as SOS, just as we trusted and elected Barack Obama, we must trust his choice of the people he puts at his side. Yes we want change, but there are positions in the administration that require experience or the change will never come about. HRC has a lot to offer, she can look back to the times mistakes were made and offer suggestions for a better way. In the end we must never lose sight of who the boss is, President-Elect Barack Obama. One thing we should not allow to happen, in party fighting. The Republicans do enough of that for the entire country. We want peace not war and while we may not always agree, we do agree to disagree. We should all be putting our energy into a new energy plan not using it up picking apart fellow supporters.

In 68 days these greedy, non caring thieves will be gone. We have to call, e-mail and write our senators and congressmen NOW to stop Paulson and his cronies from getting more money and to DEMAND someone look over what has taken place up until now. 6 weeks ago we were told if the money ($750 billion aka $810 billion) was not immediately given the world would end, the sky would fall, the country would cease to exist. It took 2 weeks before they actually got the ok to get the money and guess what, the world,, the sky and the country were still pretty much still there. And even now, alomost 2 months later look around, there's a world, a sky and a USA. Now mid way through their panic alert they want us to believe there is a better direction for the money. I said it six weeks ago and I will say it agin. A bailout is for people in jail and prison so lets put the money with the definition, put these criminals behind bars and when they ask for a bailout at least for once, they will be speaking the truth. Isn't it bad enough that most of us will have no Xmas this year, fight to save our homes and jobs and hope no one in our family gets sick? We found our way when we elected Barack Obama our next president, let's stay on that same path. Please contact your state Reps, Congressmen and Senators and put a halt to this outpouring of money. Ask them to get a better explanation on the situation and report back to their states & districts. Those who created the mess will just have to suffer. As one of the many millions of people who lost my job last year this administration (Bush) are heartless. I get a lousy $156 a week, $312 every 2 weeks. I call my weeks in every other Monday and at midnight on Tuesday my money is in my account. Not this week. When I called asking about my money I was told yesterday was a holiday. Why wasn't it a holiday when those greedy S.O.B.'s were begging for more bailout money yesterday? I'm not looking for sympathy but do they fully understand what it means to depend on a lousy $312 every 2 weeks? If they were closed yesterday for we unemployed people then they should have also been closed for F_ _ _ _ __ Wall Street. I sure hope these greedy thieves get day in front of all us honest people out of work who can't find even a part time job and have to answer to us. They're just going to squeeze us right until midnight on January 19th.

WOMEN IN WASHINGTON

This is a very important issue. I see his is surrounding himself with a lot of President Clinton's former staff, well President Clinton had quite a few women on his staff. It's bad enough we are behind with electing a woman President where other countries have been doing it for centuries. 52% of the people who voted for Barack were woman and 49% were men and we ladies need to keep reminding him of that and not let him forget us. For 12 years I had to wear one shade of blue or another to Catholic Schools and as an adult I was not too fond of the color blue, that is until November 4, 2008. Suddenly blue is a beautiful color. THANK YOU FLORIDA. I feel certain in my heart that everyone who took a stroke with that paint brush to make it turn blue by voting for President Elect Barack Obama will not be disappointed. Now, we still have work to do. We have to get that blue paint brush in the hands of the non believers. Once that happens we will be one step closer to completing our goals. We can not lose sight of what we fought for and what we accomplished, we made a promise to our new president to continue to work with him. I want to share my prayers for Barack Obama that he continues to lead us in the unity that he has already accomplished in so many ways. We, who worked for him and voted for him or will be voting for him throughout the day, know he will be the President we have known all along this country needs, but I also pray for those who did not vote for him, that they see what we have all seen for 2 years, that everything is going to be alright for them and one day very soon they will reach across and join our cause. I also pray that every American extend their hands across the land and across the aisles and welcome him as our leader and work with him and for him as we all did. I wish I had the opportunity to meet in person all of you I have met campaigning. While there are other issues to consider such as mortgages in default, job losses, fuel costs and health care the economy still tops the list. This results of this election is the difference between a path to recovery or a bridge to nowhere. Our Govonor has take n steps to insure we all can get to the polls and exercise our right to vote by extending the hours at the polls. At no other time have the voices of every citizen of the United States been heard so loud. Now all we have to do is cast our vote on election day. Please get out on Tuesday and vote. Florida is a critical state, we can make the difference. We all know that Barack Obama will lead us all on the path to recovery by going down Main Street while John Mc Cain is still strolling on bridges to nowhere. When an someone running for President and he can spend 30 minutes and not once say a negative word against the opposing candidate that makes for good character. THAT'S HOPE! That has been Barack's style for the past 20 months. This screams out "integrity". Our candidate has integrty and we are all so proud of him. He cares, he speaks to all of us, he has been all of us. A HEALTH CARE SYSTEM THAT WORKS

We need a health care system that works and one every American citizen can afford. I want to tell you about a personal experience. About 10 years ago I organized a relief mission of mercy to Guanaja one of the Bay Islands off Hondouras that was devasted after Hurricane Mitch. After sailing over 16 ton of relief supplies I was seriously sick and needed a doctor. As I was on my way to the doctor I was in a panic wondering what kind of care I would get. I was pleasantly surprised to find myself facing an American doctor. He explained that people who live there did not have to pay but as a US citizen I did. He charged me all of $5 (exchanged to Hondouran dollars came to $45, not bad) . This fee included a 1/2 office visit (unlike in America 10 minutes) and medicine. Afterwards I asked Dr. Keith as an American, why was he there. His answer was that every time he had to fill out paperwork on one patient for Insurance it took so much time and he had to charge so much money per visit it upset him. He said he spent too much time doing Insurance paperwork that he had little time to care for sick people and little time to spend with people to help them prevent illness. He told me he is very dedicated to his profession and our Health Care system does not allow him to use it to the best of his ability. He said when our country get a better Health Care system he will return. This was 10 years ago and ever since I know I will have no problem with a national health care system. It never fails to amaze me how we thrive on smut and are always looking to find the worst in people. If a campaign is run clean and focuses on an important issue there always seems to be someone looking for a scar on that candidates character. If a campaign is run solely on negative points that candidate is the target. In this election we have something going on that most voters have never had to use as their major focus as to who to vote for. IT"S THE ECONOMY!!! Barack Obama has the decency to stick to the issues and not attack back other than in a way that is politics as usual. How many more jobs and homes have to be lost before people get it? I do not condemn John Mc Cain, he has done something Barack Obama did not do, he served his country in the military. MY HUSBAND AND I VOTED EARLY IN FLORIDA. ..................................Anyone who wants to know the answer to who John Mc Cain really is needs to read his book, a book he wrote about his time in the Navy and at the Hanoi Hilton. I got the book out of the library,so you don't have to buy it to read it. I strongly recommend people read it. I learned that at 2 years old he started with his anger problem. His parents had to put him in a tub of ice water several times a day if needed, clothes and all at times. This man has a deep and long time embedded anger issue, 70 years of anger. Do you want him sitting down with Putin or sitting near that button or even answering the red phone? I DON"T!! The book is called "Faith of my Father", and as I said written by John Mc Cain. He seems to be telling a much different story these days. Lying about one's military days is not very honorable if you ask me.

Yesterday a very sad thing happened. A young girl got the wrong message from the Republican campaign. I don't put the blame totally on this young girl. This is a result of not being brought up with the family values that Barack Obama was raised with and the message put out at the rallies by the Republican campaign. Even sadder is the fact she will be left out to dry once they are done with her.This is very sad. It clearly tells me why we need a stable health care system in this country, one that recognizes pre-existing conditions. It shows that parental guidance that Barack Obama says is something each family must practice. I can't balme this sad girl for her actins but I do blame the message the Republicans are putting out there. And doesn't it seem strange that Mc Cain and Palin were able to reach this girl so quickly. This smells of he same Republican rattiness that "Joe the Plumber" smelled of. Even adder is the aftermath these poor victims have to endure after the Republicans are done using them. Because no matter what, he loved his mother, he never failed to show that love. Growing up I often heard people say while Elvis was caught up in fame and all the vices that came with it, HE LOVED HIS MOTHER..... Any child that never forgets to talk about that love love can not be a bad person............ Now we have Senator Barack Obama having to take time to visit his ailing Grand Mother, the woman who dedicated her life to raising him, feeding him and educating him. She is not someone new to any of us, he has spoke of her throughout his campaign. Can anyone fault him for going to her side in her time of need? This is a man of high moral values and I respect him for that. He is only doing what any of us would do in the same situation. He is going to her side, he is doing what is morally right, HE LOVES HIS GRANDMOTHER. As a young girl of 10 years old I had the honor of being invited to John F Kennedy's Funeral after the tragedy of his being assassinated. Off I went with my best friend and her family to Washington DC to stand in long lines to pay our respects to this great fallen leader. To this day when I look at old film clips I know I am among the thousands of people who where there. At 10 years old I did not fully understand the impact this would have on me as I grew up but I knew from the looks on my Mother's face and all the adults in my family it was serious. Even at 10 years old I felt at had to do something to show my sadness for this great loss. I began to go through newspapers and magazines and put together a scrapbook as a tribute to this great man I had been looking at with awe as the President of our great United States of America. A few days later my teacher gave us an assignment to put together a tribute to this great man, JFK. I was so excited, mine was already done. Of course I turned my scrapbook in and got an A. That was November 1963. For me, being there with thousands of fellow Americans, paying respect to a great leader will remain with me forever. Now it is 2008 and we have another great man, Barack Obama, who with the help of every U.S. citizen and God's will will be our next great leader, the next President of the United States of America. Not since the Camelot days of the Kennedy administration do I remember such excitement to get our next president elected. Maybe as sad and tragic at the death of JFK was that part of history had to take place to get where we are today. In Barack Obama I see another great man who will lead our nation on a new path just as John F Kennedy began but it was halted when tragedy struck. I call upon you today on an issue that is of great concern to me. It's an issue where party, Democrat or Republican makes no difference. It's an issue that reflects character and honor. There is a woman out there running for VP and instead of giving campaign speeches in the traditional way she is in fact encouraging race riots and putting ideas out there that killing an honorable man trying to get elected our next President is ok. This can only be a person not part of the 60's when John & Bobby Kennedy and Dr. King had to die to help our nation knock down these barriers or too uninformed of the passion the young voters at that time were feeling to understand what we were trying to accomplish back then. In this election I feel that same passion from our young voters. In Sarah's Palin's case I say it's both. She was not there and "SHE JUST DOESN'T GET IT". This message has to get out not only to Republicans, not only Democrats, but to all US citizens, so they fully understand what kind of a person who could very well be our next President. This is very serious and very, very sad. This is the very thing that puts ideas in the minds of people that are not stable. This is not how people of our county campaign for public office, especially the first and second spot. While Govonor Palin may not be breaking any laws there is a moral issue I feel is being committed. I am sure that if everyone comes together on this issue we as a nation can generate a message to stop this dangerous type of campaigning. It is obvious that Sarah Palin was too young to part of history in the 60's when we fought so passionately to stop things like racism. We fought hard to take walls down and Sarah Palin does not have the right to encourage people to put them back up. Senator John Mc Cain is not stopping her. Does that means what she is doing is ok? This is a letter I sent my Govonor and Senator yesterday. I have no reply from either yet. The state of the economy is very real as you can see from my situation. I am 59 years old, this is not where i planned to be at this point of my life. I have worked since I was 14 and I find myself wonderingat 59 years old what I will be eating for the next 15 days.

  To Esteemed Govonor Crist: I am writing to you because I am in a very desperate situation. On June 27, 2008 I lost my job, the client in the call center I worked at did not renew their lease and contract. I was one of about 100 people. I applied for food stamps, was approved and told I can use them on August 1, 2008, today. When I checked my balance it was zero. I spent 3 hours trying to speak to a real person. I was told I was over income in July. My last work day was June 27th, the July 3rd check was for the last 2 weeks in June. I have had no income for 1 month now and today I find myself with no money or food. My husband and I did not have dinner last night but we got through the day knowing we could shop today with our food stamps only to be told we have 15 more days. I came away from my morning on the phone with DCF feeling no one really cares. I am devastated wondering what I will eat for the next 15 days. The nearest food bank is about 50 miles away, not only is there no money for food, I have no money for gas to get to a food bank. . I know you are busy but your assistance with this will be most appreciated. Thank you. Marilyn J Rosberg
