Obama debate performances are killing us

Obama needs to shorten his answers because viewers prefers the candidate that keeps his answers simple and forcefull at the same time.

Obama needs to learn that he only has 60 seconds to answer those question and he HAS to drop this 'professor-like" answers where he tries to explainto you how the problem started and what's needed to fix it....He thinks too much when answering a question and too much "hmms" huuhz".

Obama needs to be more scripted like Hillary...He needs to be more dry with his lines...He has to get those answers ready in his heads and make sure they are at least 60 seconds.

Please, tell Obama that he needs to change his debate style...It's killing us.

After every debate, i've watched Hillary get a bounce at the polls...

Help me in forcing the Obama camp into getting Obama to stop thinking so much during those debates and he should scrip those answers the night before the debate.

If he's ask question A, he should have answer B in his head and not try to say too much.

This is killing us at the polls.

Sign up 4 more new Iowa supporters for the Obama campaign

I'm not certain whether the Obama staff were passing around the new "4 more Iowa supporter" application to the students that attended todays rally in Ames Iowa , but if they did which it appears they did , they should be recommended for that.

Influential lawmakers in IA , NV , S.C and NH sent out letters to all democratic candidates and asked them not to campaign in states who broke the DNC rules by moving up their election date.

MYSPACE HEAVY LOBBYING INITIATIVE

I'm not sure whether the campaign is heavily courting its myspace members and others that may be interested but if they're not , i think they should think about going all out in turning this group into voters and i have some ideas on how to proceed..(I would expect that the campaign are already doing everything that i'm ready to suggest)

First of all , i checked the Obama myspace page and clicked on many members that posted comments on the page and too many of those members doesn't have Barack as a top friend on their list and i'm not sure whether the camapaign is reaching out to every single person that post a positive comment on the Obama myspace site.

Anyway , here's what HAS to be done.

1)As soon as a Myspace member post a "positive" comment on the Barack Obama website , a campaign official who monitors the page should quickly reach out to the poster by email or post a message on the poster's page as soon as possible.

2)The campaign official should make it clear to the poster that he/she's a professional employee working for the (official) Obama campaign and would like to be friend and have a discussion on how he/she could help Barack get elected.

3)If the person is interested , the Obama official should (please) ask this member to add Barack on top of his friend's list...Maybe not number one , but somewhere that is visible so that the member's friends would easily spot the Obama avator/picture which could prompt others to be curious about the member's new top friend.

4)The Obama official should ask the interested member whether he/she could spread the word about Barack's presidential bid and lobby other members in his friend's list to join the Barack's network of friends and to also add Obama into their top friend's list.

The official could promise the interested member a free bumper sticker/shirt or some other cheap materials IF the member can recruit some of his friends that on his top friend's list.

5)The official should ask the interested poster whether he/she's 17 or 18..If yes , the campaign should then ask the poster whether he/she 's registered to vote.

If the poster is not registered , the official could direct the poster to the website where you could easily register online..The official should beg the poster to register and assist the poster on any question needed to fill out the application online.

6)Official should ask poster to send in email about Obama to everyone that's on his/her (main) email list.

7)Official should ask poster to please recruit mom or dad and spread the word about Barack....Parents are easily influenced by their kids and they may be flattered that their son or daughter are lobbying them into voting for their favorite candidate....I find it hard to believe some parents would reject such a lobby.

8) which is the last one , the official should send weekly email to the poster to keep him/her up to date about the campaign and other stuff.

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK??...WE COULD EVEN HELP OUT COURT THOSE FOLKS AND DO EVERYTHING THAT I STATED ON MY LIST?

Barack's Iowa problem

First of all , i want to start off by saying that i believe Barack will win Iowa but realisticaly , it's not going to be easy and there are some major problems Obama will have to overcome to win this state....

While my heart says Barack will win Iowa , my head says he has no shot there.

The 3 main problem for Obama in Iowa are simple:
1)Iowa is too white..The state is 98% white.

2)Iowa is too old..Iowa has one of the oldest population in the nation.

3)Iowa is too rural...The Iowa caucus system was set up to hand over huge influence to rural Iowans...Those are the country boys and girls.

Now , let me try to comprehensively explain to you why those 3 facts that i stated above are huge problems for Obama.
----------
First , lets start off with Iowa being too white.

I know i will catch a lot of flames for that , but there's a reason why South Carolina is Obama's firewall...Obama is doing much better in South Carolina then anywhere else among those early states...South Carolina is much more diverse and is much more in line with the U.S geographic then Iowa.

The U.S is about 70% white and 30% minority..Iowa is 98% white which is a huge swing...South Carolina is about 65% white and 35% black.

Iowa , is by far one of the whitest state in the U.S and the reason why this could hurt Obama is because there's a percentage of the white population that would never consider Barack because of his skin color....Some may disagree with me but i think you're foolish if you think this population doesn't exist.

My argument goes like this ...The whiter the state , the bigger the percentage of an "anti-black" population gets....Minority voters are more likely to disregard Barack's skin color then a white voters and this is a fact.

In Iowa , you hear a lot of "well , i like him but i don't think a black man can win"...Those are the population that will make is extremely hard for Obama.
CHATROOM LINK NEEDED.

Yesterday, someone suggested the creation of a chatroom link so that regular supporters or potential voters who visits this website would be better able to communicate among each other and share their views & ideas....it would be so much better then blogging.

is that too much to ask?

we could do so much more with an official obama chatlink including trying to drive participation by posting the link everywhere possible so people could come learn about obama stances on issues from his supporters in real time.

we would also be able to see how many people are participating...all supporters would be chatting under their obama-username while visitors would just chat under 'visitors-1 or 2,3 etc etc..

visitors that are interested would then have the option of create an account and join the team.

it could be worth it.

Massive voter registration initiative needed for Obama

Any word on whether the Obama camp will in fact do a massive voter registration drive?,specially in those early states that will vote first?

The national polls are now showing Barack trailing by as much as 15-20 points and i'm afraid he will start losing "soft support"..Those are the people that may think he has no shot and may not want to vote for a man that is trailing badly.

I've heard reports stating they are about 100 million unregistered Americans in the U.S, and the only way we will win this for Obama is if we can find a way to register 1% of 100 million..That's one million new voters, but a large amount of them has got to be in the early states of Iowa,South Carolina and New Hampshire.

I believe that there's too much 'Clinton-Nostalgia" in the democratic electorate and this will be a huge advantage for Hillary...It's almost impossible to beat her under the current democratic electorate, therefore, we have got to find a way to bring fresh blood in..."New voters".

I want you guys to think about what could make unregistered Americans to register and vote?..Any plan that could bring those folks into the fold.

This is why i strongly believe that the campaign should start a massive voter-registration initiative in the hope to seek voters that could vote for Obama.

They should start this initiative as soon as possible so that we could register as many people as possible before the end of the year.

Obama registered about 150,000 in Chicago..If everyone of us could make a pledge to help register 50 people, it would be huge...Start with family members and make sure they are all registered, then friends and co-workers.

Voter registration/registrar

The Barack Obama campaign are not doing enought to push voter registration and there are so many things they could do.

Out of the 3 democratic candidates,Barack has the most potential to not only get his supporters to do more for him, but to also get many unregistered Americans to register and vote for him because of his politic of hope and change.

Some type of initiative needs to start now so that we can register as many voters as possible.

I've heard that they(Obama campaign) are mainly leaving the voter registration stuff to their small grassroots, but i really feel that they are making a big mistake by not pushing it themselves and do it very aggressively.

In my opinion, they should come up with some type of gimmick like the "walk for change" or"dinner for 5" but this plan should emphasize voter registration and how to become a registrar and register people in your community.

Maybe the campaign could set a goal of 2 million new voters nationwide for barack

1.sent out emails to everyone on the Obama email list and inform them that they will be pushing a new initiative just like the "walk for change" gimmick but this one is met to turn donors into registrar for the purpose of registering as many voters as possible.

2.Frontpage the rules on how to do registration drive or how to become registrar so that everyone knows exactly where to get the forms and the rules of their states

3.Create a map just like the "walk for change" map and once a person has become a registrar or is registering folks by handing out registration-forms,this person will show up on the new computerize map along with how many voters this specific person registered....Now, the problem is whether the Obama camp would be able to verify whether the specific person did indeed register the amount of person he/she claims to have registered.

The map would neatly show how many Obama-registrar there is on a specific location/area/state and how many voters those registrars have registered so far and maybe a goal could be set for the South Carolina or NJ registrars...We could have at least 20 registrars working in the state of South Carolina alone.

Is it anything illegal in this plan or initiative?
