http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/blog_rss/cathyd/html After making many calls and talking to a lot of wonderful people, I am very hopeful about the outcome today.  However, after making many calls and talking to a lot of wonderful people, I am also nervous.  The reason for my nervousness is because some people get information that is not true and they believe it.  I spoke to a gentleman that was in his 80's.  He is a FOX news watcher.  He asked me why I was voting for Senator Obama.  After giving him my reasons and giving him the nonpartisan groups that backed up what I was saying.  He said he felt better towards Senator Obama, but he was still going to vote for Senator McCain.  After speaking for over half an hour we ended the call.  He said to me; "Well, good luck tomorrow , but I hope your candidate loses."  I in turn said; "Good luck tomorrow and I hope your candidate loses."  We both were laughing and were happy that we had talked.  I am hoping people who vote today see through all the negative campaigning and half truths.  I can't imagine, or I should say I don't want to imagine four years of our country being lead by anyone other than Senator Obama.     http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/post/cathyd/gGx39N http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/post/cathyd/gGx39N/commentary#comments Tue, 04 Nov 2008 07:33:47 EST http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/post/cathyd/gGx39N Cathy Cathy 0 http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/comment_rss/gGx39N/
