Once Israel pulls the trigger and commits the US (by means of her extraordinary influence over US Mid East policy, as described in 'The Israel Lobby' by Walt and Mearsheimer'), the Neocons in American and the Likudists in Israel who brought us Iraq will have forced us over a Rubicon with our fresh acts of war against Iran. Obama's Sunday 2 24 08 speech to ~100 members of the Jewish Community in Cleveland may just possibly be one of the most critically important speeches in the history of our American experiment - certainly the most important speech in the last 50 years. It will serve as the BASIS for successful resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which is at the basis of the 'Neocon Wars for Israel' that BushCheney and the Israel Lobby have been having us fight. Obama has split the Likud/Neocon war criminals from Jews of Conscience everywhere and broken down the walls for ME Peace. Thank you, Barack, and Samantha - YAHOO!!!

I am STUNNED by these developments and this speech is currently reverberating around the world in Israel, Europe, and everywhere except of course America. This is it - this is what we need - these are the conceptual underpinnings for the end of the 'war on terror' and the counterattacks for our war crimes in the Middle East.

I call on all the American Jewish community, including their leaders such as the wonderful 'Jewish Voice for Peace' group to which I belong, to support resolution of the Israeli Palestinian conflict according to the UN Sec Co resolutions 242, 194, 338, the Geneva Conventions, and International Laws Israel is currently violating, and in memory of the the 4000 Americans who have died for Israel in Iraq

Once we stop Israel in Palestine we will find a miracle begin to occur - a war of terror that many did not understand was being waged will have stopped - for what we will have stopped is the 'war of terror for Israel' the neocons and the Israel Lobby have been having us fight. Oh wait - let me say it again - there stopped being a war of terror because the US stopped carrying out our war of terror for Israel - like when we attacked Iraq for Israel. And the effects will almost be instantaneous - we won't have to send our boys to terrorize Iran for Israel in a few months

“I think there is a strain within the pro-Israel community that says unless you adopt a unwavering pro-Likud approach to Israel that you’re anti-Israel and that can’t be the measure of our friendship with Israel. Why did Barack back off his positions he held recognizing the slow Israeli genocide of the Palestinian people when BLASTED by the Israel Lobby (AIPAC, et al) in early 2007? Why was Jimmy Carter savagely attacked and branded 'antisemitic' for publication of 'Palestine: Peace not Apartheid'?

I'm starting to visualize my Obama dream ticket - Edwards comes on as VP and Samantha Power comes aboard as Secretary of State. Wow! - this is the ticket we need to overthrow the Neocon coup that had taken over our country. Edwards was one of the only presidential candidates to go after the Neocons by name - if anybody missed his white hot but underreported U of Iowa Speech 11 05 07, here's a couple of paragraphs and the link - it's well worth the read and showed true bravery:

Obama must dump Dennis Ross from any foreign policy post considerations in his adminsitration - Dennis is a neocon - a Scooter Libby defender and fully credentialed AIPAC operative, for god's sake. Does anyone want a 'Warmonger Joe Lieberman' in his cabinet? Hell No! DITCH DENNIS - he's DANGEROUS!

Ross is a perfect example of the Israel Lobby in action in America - his long history in support of the Israel's illegal occupation of the West Bank, close coordination with recent Israeli administration policies towards the occupation and war crimes towards the Palestinians, and apologist for everything Israeli/Neocon including Scooter Libby and the 2nd Lebanon War. Cakewalk Resolution of the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict

Everybody knows the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is at the core of problems in the middle east - the Baker-Hamilton Iraq Study Group knows this, Jimmy Carter knows it, Pat Buchanon, Obama, Edwards, Kucinich, Ron Paul, Hagel, Feingold all know it and as a matter of fact everybody knows it. It is simply uncontested by any sane person that resolution of this conflict is at the very heart of peace in the middle east and the wars America is currently fighting and will be fighting in the coming months.

Guess what? - the solution was just sitting there in front of our faces all along and it's a cakewalk - what America needs to do first is to exert tremendous and overwhelming political pressure on Israel - America needs to LEAD the international effort to put this UN-violating country back in it's pre-67 box as demanded by the UN time and again rather than time and again VETOING that very pressure from the international community. Sure - conforming to these UN Sec Council Resolution 242, 194, 338, the Geneva Conventions, and International Law will be a pinch for Israel and just exactly what the Israel Lobby, AIPAC, and the neocons don't want to happen - so what?

So what's stopping us putting this pressure on Israel? - could the Israelis, her Israel Lobby, and her Neocons be stopping this pressure which is actually the critical solution to the Palestinian Israeli conflict that we all desperately need and that everybody knows underlies successful solution of our 'war against terror' ?
