Dissecting Sotomayor's comment properly

Here is the exact quote from Judge Sotomayor:

"I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experience would more often than not reach a better conclusion (as a judge) than a white male who hasn't lived that life."

The controversial word is "better". But taken as is, was Judge Sotomayor saying that she or any latina woman is better than all white people? No, taken literally she refer to "white male" which means, again if taken literally that "white female" were equally "better."

But again, if taken literally , she did not say all or every latina woman but a "wise latina" woman. Now here is the crust of the matter that every one is overlooking. Take this phrase into consideration: "better conclusion (as a judge) than a white male who hasn't lived that life." What kind of life was the judge talking about? She was refering to the richness and experience of her background as a wise latina woman. She was refering to her rich background and experience as a woman from humble beginning to judgeship, her long experience in the judical system.

Her richness and experience is unique because it is not all and every latina woman who possesses that richness and background. But equally she was not saying that she was better than all white men. She said "white male who hasn't lived that life." So in essence she recognized that "white male" who "lived that life" was equally able to make "better" decisions.

The judge did not make a RACIST STATEMENT and she is not a RACIST.

Surgeon General cautioned that being a Republican can be dangerous and hazardous

"The Surgeon General has cautioned folks that being Republican these days can be dangerous and hazardous to your emotional state of being...especially when you've got Rush Limburgh, Ann Coultier, Sean Hannity and a 14-year-old as your spokespersons!! "

"Reality is, Rush actually verbalized what most far right-wing Republicans feel deep inside...they actually want Obama to fail. They want the U.S. economy to tank over ideological difference, and for the country to crash so they can say ''aha, you see...we knew this nigga didn't know a thing!!'' "

"Bush coughing out US$700 billion to bail out Wall Street isn't socialism, Bush cutting taxes for the most wealthiest Americans isn't socialism...but Obama cutting tax for lower to middle income Americans that make less that $250,000 and helping those losing their homes (thanks to the banks that Bush bailed out), is socialism."

Obama must be careful in dealing with undeveloped nations

For example, the case with the first female president of Africa. The Bush adminstration through the world bank , under the controlled of Paul Wolfowitz is repeating failed economic policy in Liberia.

Just as big business has illtreated the people of America with Wall Street earning more than 18 bllion in bonuses, so too is Wolfowitz and his friends using black businessman Bob Johnson to rake in money from the Liberian people under the guise of supporting the poor.

Wolfowitz was the recent past president of the World Bank, and in that position was instrumental to president Bush visiting Liberia to influence the same business practices that is economically suffering America.

The Obama adminstration should be very careful how they deal with most of these African countries, especially Liberia because most of the World Bank and IMF personels in these countries were part of the failed economic policy of the last eight years that created the global financial problem.

The economic meltdown is not the fault of the Union workers , Union workers cannot take a pay cut in the absent of increase of commodities. How will these workers match their economic conditions with the increase in food and other essential things.

NO! NO! NO! It is not the time to use workers as scape goat, workers need help and not punishment for their labor.

It is time for CHANGE , and not more of the same.

YES, WE CAN!!!!

Obama must support Blogajevick's right of innocence until proven guilty

Obama should not allow himself to be carry away by emotionalism, as a constitutional scholar he is obligated to support the constituion of America, especially as it relates to criminal defense.

While it is true that Blago's situation is political, this is exactly what should not be done.
Obama-Nation should STOP complaining and support our PRESIDENT-ELECT

During the campaign , president-elect Obama told America the meaning of HOPE and CHANGE. He emphasized that HOPE does not mean blind following, it does not mean that things will be easy, and it does not mean that we will all agree on everything. But what is most important is for us to focus on the things that we agree on: universal healthcare, jobs, energy independence, tax breaks for working Americans among other things. These are the things that we should concern ourselves with.

The president must have the liberty to appoint those he best believe will help him carry out his vision for the country. It is the president that will work with his cabinet members so it is he who must decide who to help him get the job done for the people.

Give the president-elect a break.

YES, WE CAN!!!!

A large marble urn that stood between two granite columns had been pried loose and spirited away, leaving faded silk flowers strewn on the ground.

I was holding a bouquet of them in my arms when the woman walked up and gave me a crushing hug. "Honey," she said, "you don't know me, but when I saw you standing up here on this hill, I knew that you must be one of the girls and I couldn't help myself but to drive up here and let you know how much me and my whole family loved both of your parents. They were real special people."

I thanked her for her kind words as we stood side by side gazing down at the graves of Govs. George Wallace and Lurleen Wallace.

After a few moments, the woman leaned into me and spoke almost in a conspiratorial whisper. "I never thought I would live to see the day when a black would be running for president. I know your daddy must be rolling over in his grave."
Don't Miss

Maya Angelou: Time to lift America's spirit

Commentary: America's historic new chapter

In Depth: Commentaries

Not having the heart or the energy to respond, I gave her bony arm a slight squeeze, turned and walked away. As I put the remnants of the graveyard spray in the trunk of my car, I assumed that she had not bothered to notice the Barack Obama sticker on my bumper.

When I was a young voter and had little interest in politics, my father would mark my ballot for me. As I thought about the woman in the cemetery, I mused that if he were alive and I had made the same request for this election, there would be a substantial chance, though not a certainty, that he would put an "X" by Obama's name.

Perhaps it would be the last chapter in his search for inner peace that became so important to him after becoming a victim of hatred and violence himself when he was shot and gravely injured in a Laurel, Maryland, shopping center parking lot. Perhaps it would be a way of reconciling in his own mind that what he once stood for did not prevent freedom of opportunity and self-advancement from coming full circle; his final absolution.

George Wallace and other Southern governors of his ilk stood defiantly in the 1950s and '60s in support of racial segregation, a culture of repression, violence and denial of basic human rights.

Their actions and the stark images of their consequences that spread across the world galvanized the nation and gave rise to a cry for an end to the American apartheid. The firestorms that were lit in Birmingham, Oxford, Memphis, Tuscaloosa, Montgomery, Little Rock and Selma were a call to arms to which the people responded.

And now a new call to arms has sounded as Americans face another assault on freedom. For if the stand in the schoolhouse door was a defining moment for George Wallace, then surely the aftermath of Katrina and the invasion of Iraq will be the same for George W. Bush.

The trampling of individual freedoms and his blatant contempt for the rights of the average American may not have been as obvious as an ax-handle-wielding governor, but Bush's insidiousness and piety have made him much more dangerous.

Healing must come, hope will be our lodestar, humility will reshape the American conscience, and honesty in both word and deed will refresh and invigorate America, and having Barack Obama to lead will give us back our power to heal.

My father lived long enough to come to an understanding of the injustices borne by his deeds and the legacy of suffering that they left behind. History will teach future generations that he was a man who used his political power to promote a philosophy of exclusion.

As his daughter, who witnessed his suffering in the twilight of his years and who witnessed his deeds and heard his words, I am one who believes that the man who, on March 7, 1965, listened to the reports of brutality as they streamed into the Governor's Mansion from Selma, Alabama, was not the same man who, in March of 1995, was welcomed with open arms as he was rolled through a sea of African-American men, women and children who gathered with him to welcome another generation of marchers, retracing in honor and remembrance the historic steps from Selma to Montgomery.

Four years ago, the young Illinois senator who spoke at the Democratic National Convention mesmerized me. I hoped even then that he would one day be my president.

Today, Barack Obama is hope for a better tomorrow for all Americans. He stands on the shoulders of all those people who have incessantly prayed for a day when "justice will run down like waters and righteousness as a mighty stream" (Amos 5:24).

Perhaps one day, my two sons and I will have the opportunity to meet Barack Obama in person to express our gratitude to him for bringing our family full circle.

And today, the day after the election, I am going to ride to the cemetery so that if asked, I can vouch for the fact that the world is still spinning but my father lies at peace.

The opinions expressed in this commentary are solely those of Peggy Wallace Kenn

Is this kind of policy not socialism? If tax rebate checks are good for the people of Alaska, why is it not good for all Americans?

It is time for CHANGE and not more of the SAME.
YES, WE CAN!!!!

The media is giving John McCain a free pass on this tax issue

The great questions that the media should be asking John McCain are simple: Didn't America try this rich tax cuts and resulted into negative trickle down economics? Didn't John McCain support similar Barack Obama tax policies in 2000?

But worst of the media failure is the fact that Ronald Reagan raised taxes several times to improve the economic conditions.
John McCain BLAMES AMERICA to defend outsouring

John McCain says America is a bad place for business and this is why outsourcing jobs is a good thing. John McCain does not care for ordinary American workers, he cares more for the huge profit making WallStreet fat cats, Washington insiders, and lobbyists.

It is time for CHANGE and not more of the SAME.

YES, WE CAN!!!

The media is giving John McCain a free pass on this tax issue

John McCain has no moral credibility to criticize Barack Obama tax plan because McCain has been unstable and his currrent plan mirror George Bush failed economics. The great questions that the media should be asking John McCain are simple: Didn't America try this rich tax cuts and resulted into negative trickle down economics? Didn't John McCain supported Barack Obama tax policies in 2000?

But worst of the media failure is the fact that Ronald Reagan raised taxes several times to improve the economic conditions. So how does John McCain paid for all his services if he is giving away all this tax breaks to the rich?

It is time for CHANGE and not more of the SAME.

YES, WE CAN!!!!

News coverage for Obama is more POSITIVE because Obama is running is more POSITIVE campaign

The news media is not favorable to Obama instead the news media has been more favorable to John McCain. Take for example Sarah Palin anti-American association with the Alaska Independent Party and John McCain direct quotes in 2000 about the weathy paying more taxes. These issues have not been play as compare to William Ayers, bitter comments, and guns and religion.

Obama has been running a more positive campaig than John McCain.

It is time for CHANGE and not more of the SAME.

YES, WE CAN!!!

Sarah Palin is not going ROGUE: It is the Republican distraction strategy for Palin freely attack Obama while McCain looks good

Do not get excited that Sarah Palin is going rogue on John McCain . Palin is not going rogue, it is the new GOP strategy that allows Palin to behave like she is independent of John McCain, and by this perception she is free to attack Obama.

So while Palin attack Obama, John McCain remain free as a good person who does not have control over Sarah Palin.

John McCain and his running mate, the socialist Sarah Palin attacks on Barack Obama middle class tax plan is pure hypocrisy.

In Alaska , Sarah Palin takes away oil companies profits to give away to ordinary Alaskans because she claimed that the oil belongs to the state. If socialism is good for Alaska why is it not good for all Americans.

It is time for CHANGE and not more of the SAME.

YES, WE CAN!!!

If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.'
Thomas Jefferson 1802

It is time for CHANGE and not more of the SAME.
YES, WE CAN!!!

This crazy talk about the media that Obama is spending more money than McCain is missing the point. John McCain has been in Washington for more than two decades, he is wel known in American politics. Barack Obama spending is not against McCain it is to introduce Obama to the American voters.

Besides, it is the people that have funded Obama campaign. the fact that the people have funded Obama campaign is good for American politics. No body stop John McCain from appealing to the American people to fund his campaign.

It is time for CHANGE and not more of the SAME.

YES, WE CAN!!!

watch the video from 5:30 minutes as Lawrence O'donell challenges Eagleburger concerning his criticism of Barack Obama's experience. O'donell quizzed Eagleburger about his support of both Reagan and this Bush whom lacked foriegn policy experience in comparasion to Obama.

O'donell argued that Obama has more foriegn policy experience than both Reagan and Bush:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/27294202#27294202

Good question for McCain: Why are you taking money from Domestic terrorist's sponsors?

Why is John McCaain recieving donations for his campaign from the sponsors of domestic terrorist Bill Ayers. According to John McCain , Barack Obama association with Bill Ayers is a terrorist association. If this is true then all those republicans who served on the Annenberg Foundation board with Bill Ayers are terrorist associates. So why is John McCain recieving donations from these republicans who have served with Bill Ayers and are also terrorist associates.

It is time for CHANGE and not more of the SAME.
YES, WE CAN!!!

Barack Obama message to lobbyists

[Few days] from now, we have the chance to tell all those corporate lobbyists that the days of them setting the agenda in Washington are over. I have done more to take on lobbyists than any other candidate in this race – and I’ve won. I don’t take a dime of their money, and when I am President, they won’t find a job in my White House. Because real change isn’t another four years of defending lobbyists who don’t represent real Americans – it’s standing with working Americans who have seen their jobs disappear and their wages decline.

It is time for CHANGE and not more of the SAME.

YES, WE CAN!!!

This attack line by John McCain is the final verdict that John McCain is out of touch with ordinary Americans and value only the wealthy people and not the hardworking people that work for these wealthy people.

It is time for CHANGE and not more of the SAME.

YES, WE CAN!!!

Barack Obama message to lobbyists, Washington insiders, and WallStreet fat cats

When I am President, I will end the tax giveaways to companies that ship our jobs overseas, and I will put the money in the pockets of working Americans, and seniors, and homeowners who deserve a break. I won’t wait ten years to raise the minimum wage – I’ll raise it to keep pace every single year. And if American workers are being denied their right to organize when I’m in the White House, I will put on a comfortable pair of shoes and I will walk on that picket line with you as President of the United States.

[Few days] from now, we can stop campaigning on the outrage of 47 million uninsured Americans and finally start doing something about it. I reformed health care in Illinois, and I didn’t do it alone – I did it by reaching out to Democrats and Republicans. We took on the insurance industry, and we won. That’s how I’ll pass a universal health care bill that allows every American to get the same kind of health care that members of Congress get for themselves and cuts every family’s premiums by up to $2500. And mark my words – I will sign this bill by the end of my first term as President. That’s the change we can offer in 2008.

[Few days] from now, we can stop sending our children down corridors of shame and start putting them on a pathway to success. When I am President, we will stop passing bills called No Child Left Behind that leave the money behind and start making real investments in education from cradle to adulthood. That means early childhood education. That means recruiting an army of new teachers, and paying them better, and supporting them more so they’re not just teaching to test, but teaching to teach. And it means finally putting a college education within reach of every American. That’s the change we can offer in 2008.

[Few days] from now, we can stop sending hundreds of millions of dollars to dictators for their oil while we melt the polar ice caps in the bargain. I will raise our fuel standards, and put a cap on carbon emissions to reduce then 80% by 2050. We’ll tell polluters that they have to pay for their pollution, because they don’t own the skies, the American people own the skies. And we’ll use the money to invest in the clean, renewable fuels that are our future. That’s the change we can offer in 2008.

In this election, we have the chance to turn the page on the last [eight] years of being told that the only way for Democrats to look tough on national security is to talk, and act, and vote like George Bush Republicans.

It is time for CHANGE and not more of the SAME.

YES, WE CAN!!!

Barack Obama on his imperfection

I don’t pretend to be a perfect man, and I will not be a perfect President. But I am in this race because I believe that if we want to break from the failures of the past and finally make progress as a country, we can’t keep telling different people what we think they want to hear – we have to tell every American what they need to know. We have to be honest about the challenges we face. When I called for higher fuel standards so we could reduce our dependence on foreign oil, I didn’t say it to some environmental group in California – I said it in front of automakers in Detroit. When I called for corporate responsibility so that middle-class Americans could get a tax cut, I said it in front of CEOs on Wall Street. And when I was invited to speak out against George Bush’s plan to invade Iraq as a Senate candidate five years ago, I didn’t listen to those who warned me that it was politically risky position to take, I listened to my gut, and I said loud and clear that this was the wrong war at the wrong time and Congress should stand up and say so. That’s the kind of leadership we need right now. That’s why I’m this race. Because I don’t think you should settle for a President who’s only there for you when it’s easy or convenient or popular – I think you deserve a President who’s willing to fight for you every hour of every day for the next four years.
That’s the change we can offer in 2008 – not change as a slogan, but change we can believe in.

It is time for CHANGE and not more of the SAME.

YES, WE CAN!!!

Barack Obama on the politics of Washington

Much has been said about the exchanges between Senator [McCain] and myself this week. Now, understand that [John McCain] is a colleague and a friend. [He’s] also a skilled politician, and [he’s] run what Washington would call a “textbook” campaign. But the problem is the textbook itself.

It’s a textbook that’s all about winning elections, but says nothing about how to bring the country together to solve problems. As we saw in the debate last week, it encourages vague, calculated answers to suit the politics of the moment, instead of clear, consistent principles about how [he] you would lead America. It teaches you that you can promise progress for everyday people while striking a bargain with the very special interests who crowd them out.

Now, Senator [McCain] is certainly not the only one in Washington to play this game. It’s gone on for years, and I understand the reasoning behind it. It’s a game that usually gets politicians where they need to go. But I don’t believe it gets America where we need to go. When it comes to issues like war and diplomacy; energy and health care, I don’t believe we can bring about real change if all we do is change our positions based on what’s popular or politically convenient. If we are going to seize this moment of challenge and promise, the American people deserve more when they head to the voting booth in 2008.

I believe that our party has made the most difference in people’s lives and the life of this country when we have led not by polls but by principle; not by calculation but by conviction; when we’ve been able to summon the entire nation to a common purpose – a higher purpose. That’s how Roosevelt led us through war and lifted us from depression. It’s how Kennedy called on a new generation to ask what they could do for America. And I am running for President of the United States because that’s the kind of leadership America needs right now.

It is time for CHANGE and not more of the SAME.

YES, WE CAN!!!

Barack Obama asked, "what next?"

George Bush said whatever the politics of the moment required in order to get elected in 2000. And those seven years of broken promises have left the American people with less trust in their leaders and less faith in their government than they have in years.

We were promised compassion and conservatism but we got Katrina and wiretaps.

We were promised a uniter, but we got a divider who couldn’t even lead the half of the country who voted for him.

We were promised a kinder, gentler Washington but got a town that’s more bitter, secretive, and corrupt than ever before. And the only mission ever accomplished was using fear and falsehoods to take us to a war that should’ve never been authorized and never been waged.

This catastrophic failure of leadership has led us to a moment where it’s not just Democrats who are listening to what we have to say, but Independents and Republicans who have never been more disillusioned with what the state of our leadership in Washington has done to this country.

That’s why this is also a moment of great promise. It’s a chance to turn the page by offering the American people a fundamentally different choice in 2008 – not just in the policies we offer, but in the kind of leadership we offer. It’s a chance to come together and finally solve the challenges that were made worse by George Bush, but existed long before he took office – challenges like health care and energy and education that we haven’t met for decades because of a political system in Washington that has failed the American people.

It is time for CHANGE and not more of the SAME.

YES, WE CAN!!!

Barack Obama on Why he is running for PRESIDENT

I am not running for this office to fulfill any long-held plans or because I believe it is somehow owed to me. I never expected to be here, and I always knew the journey would be improbable. I’ve never been on one that wasn’t.

I am running because of what Dr. King called “the fierce urgency of now.” I am running because I do believe there’s such a thing as being too late. And that hour is almost here.

I’m running because I don’t want to wake up one morning four years from now, and turn on one of those cable talk shows, and see that Washington is still stuck in the same food fight it’s been in for over a decade. I don’t want to see that more Americans lost their health care and fell into bankruptcy because we let the insurance industry spend millions to stop us for yet another year. I don’t want to see that.

I don’t want to see that the oceans rose another few inches and the planet has reached the point of no return because we couldn’t find a way to stop ourselves from buying oil from dictators. I don’t want to see that.

I don’t want to see that we risked more American lives in another misguided war because no one had the judgment to ask the tough questions before we sent our troops to fight. I don’t want to see that.

I don’t want to see homeless veterans on the street. I don’t want to send another generation of children through corridors of shame. I don’t want this future for my daughters and I do not accept this future for America. It is time to turn the page.

I run for the presidency for the same reason I drove halfway across the country over two decades ago to bring jobs to the jobless and hope to the hopeless on the streets of Chicago; for the same reason I stood up for justice and equality as a civil rights lawyer; for the same reason I’ve fought for Illinois families for over a decade. Because I will never forget that the only reason I am standing here today is because someone, somewhere stood up when it wasn’t popular, when it was risky; when it was hard. And because that someone stood up, a few more did. And then a few thousand. And then a few million. And together, they changed the world.

That’s why I run in this election. I run to give my children and their children the same chances that someone, somewhere gave me. I run so that a year from today, there is a chance that the world will look at America differently, and that America will look at itself differently. And I run to keep the promise of the United States of America alive for all those who still hunger for opportunity and thirst for equality and long to believe again.

That is the change that’s possible in this election. That is the moment I want to seize as President. And I ask you all to join me in this journey. Thank you.

“The Fierce Urgency of Now”

http://www.rollingstone.com/nationalaffairs/index.php/2007/11/03/the-fierce-urgency-of-now/
Previous Next Latest “The Fierce Urgency of Now”
11/3/07, 12:47 pm EST

When Obama’s good, he’s muy damn bueno.
Read the speech he’s delivering today in South Carolina:

One year from now, you will have the chance to walk into a voting booth, pull back the curtain, and choose the next President of the United States.

Here’s the good news – for the first time in a long time, the name George Bush will not appear on the ballot. The name Dick Cheney will not appear on the ballot. The era of Scooter Libby justice, and Brownie incompetence, and the Karl Rove politics of fear and cynicism will be over.

But the question you will have to ask yourselves when you pick up your ballot a year from today is, “What next?” How do we repair the enormous damage of these dismal years and recapture that sense of common purpose that has seen America through our toughest times?

I’m running for President because I believe we find ourselves in a moment of great challenge and great promise – a moment that comes along once in a generation.

It’s a moment of challenge because America is less safe and less respected than at any time in recent history. We are more dependent on oil from dictators and closer to the day when climate change becomes a climate catastrophe.

In the midst of great prosperity, families all across this country feel further from the American Dream. You know this from your own lives. Most Americans are working harder for less and paying more for health care and college than ever before. It’s harder to save. Harder to retire. And the policies of the last seven years have added to that unfairness.

And that’s what this debate in our party right now is all about.

Much has been said about the exchanges between Senator Clinton and myself this week. Now, understand that Hillary Clinton is a colleague and a friend. She’s also a skilled politician, and she’s run what Washington would call a “textbook” campaign. But the problem is the textbook itself.

It’s a textbook that’s all about winning elections, but says nothing about how to bring the country together to solve problems. As we saw in the debate last week, it encourages vague, calculated answers to suit the politics of the moment, instead of clear, consistent principles about how you would lead America. It teaches you that you can promise progress for everyday people while striking a bargain with the very special interests who crowd them out.

Now, Senator Clinton is certainly not the only one in Washington to play this game.

And I am running for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States because that’s the kind of leadership America needs right now.

One year from now, we have the chance to tell all those corporate lobbyists that the days of them setting the agenda in Washington are over. I have done more to take on lobbyists than any other candidate in this race – and I’ve won. I don’t take a dime of their money, and when I am President, they won’t find a job in my White House. Because real change isn’t another four years of defending lobbyists who don’t represent real Americans – it’s standing with working Americans who have seen their jobs disappear and their wages decline and their hope for the future slip further and further away. That’s the change we can offer in 2008.

One year from now, we can stop campaigning on the outrage of 47 million uninsured Americans and finally start doing something about it.

One year from now, we can stop sending our children down corridors of shame and start putting them on a pathway to success.

One year from now, we can stop sending hundreds of millions of dollars to dictators for their oil while we melt the polar ice caps in the bargain.

In this election, we have the chance to turn the page on the last six years of being told that the only way for Democrats to look tough on national security is to talk, and act, and vote like George Bush Republicans.

When I’m your nominee, my opponent won’t be able to say that I was for the war in Iraq before I was against it; or that I supported an extension of the Iraq war into Iran; or that I support the Bush-Cheney diplomacy of not talking to leaders we don’t like. And he won’t be able to say that I flip-flopped on something as fundamental as whether our nation should use torture. Because we are not a nation that makes excuses for torture, we are a nation that rejects it. That’s the change we can offer in 2008.

When I am President, I will end this war in Iraq. I will bring our troops home within sixteen months. I’ll finish the fight against al Qaeda in Afghanistan. And I will lead the world against the common threats of the 21st century – nuclear weapons and terrorism; climate change and poverty; genocide and disease. That’s what Democrats must stand for, and that’s what America must stand for. And I’ll be a President who finally sends a message to the black, white, and brown faces beyond our shores; from the halls of power to the huts of Africa that says, “You matter to America. Your future is our future. And our moment is now.”

America, our moment is now. Now is our chance to turn the page. Now is our chance to write a new chapter.

I am in this race because I don’t want to see us spend the next year re-fighting the Washington battles of the 1990s. I don’t want to pit Blue America against Red America, I want to lead a United States of America. I don’t want this election to be about the past, because if it’s about the future, we all win. If this election is about whether or not to end this war, or pass universal health care, or make more college affordable, it won’t just be a Democratic victory; it will be an American victory.

That’s the victory this country needs right now. This election and this moment are too important to settle for what we already know. The time has come to reach for what we know is possible.

On Letterman , John McCain says experience does not matter---Is McCain a hypocritie for criticizing Obama

 http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/16/john-mccain-on-david-lett_n_135386.html

David Letterman repeatedly pressed McCain on [Sarah Palin] qualifications, asking if he was confident she could lead the country in a time of crisis.

"In all due respect, one of the people I admired most was an obscure governor of a southern state called Arkansas and he turned out to be a fairly successful president," McCain said, complimenting Bill Clinton. "Ronald Reagan was a cowboy, no experience in international affairs. I think she has shown leadership."

As Letterman pressed on, McCain asked, "Have we pretty well exhausted this?"

"No, no," Letterman said. "I'm just getting started."

Watch a clip from the show:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/16/john-mccain-on-david-lett_n_135386.html

This is an issue that Obama must capitalize on. John McCain is playing game with the American people. On the one hand he do not want wealthy Americans to pay more taxes but he says he will buy bad motgages. Where wil mcCain get all that money.

But worst of all, McCain says he will freeze all sending so how will he fund other needed social program.

It is time for CHANGE and not more of the SAME.

YES, WE CAN!!!

If ACORN has been stealing ELECTIONS then Why REPUBLICANS have been winning?

This is the simple question that Democrats need to ask Republicans. This whole ACORN hysteria is pre-election voter fraud that Republican is setting up.
