Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh say there is no drug use in America

I am amazed at how desperate the far right media has become the very thing they claim the left media was. Now they refuse to recognize the huge amount of drug use that is happening in America. It's like they want to take a blind eye on crime to further a political Agenda. They refuse to see the drug use done by Americans. They want to pretend it isn't happening. They are saying it's un American to recognize the harm buying drugs causes. This is going to cause a conflict with their own followers since some of them have to in real life defend themselves from the very drug business that puts their republican followers into harm.

I can understand why Rush Limbaugh doesn't want to recognize illegal drug use, it's great way to cover up his own indiscretions. Sean Hannity is now completely gone insane. It's almost like they are trying to sweep the drug problem in America underneath the rug. I'm sorry but most of America know where the drug cartels are, and know they travel to America to sell their product.

To say that we as American aren't buying drugs is saying that there is no drugs in America. That would mean all the deaths didn't happen from overdoses, all the cops that died from drug dealers and those stoned on drugs didn't happen.

Why is Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity trying to make the Drug Dealers look good by saying it's UnAmerican to say what the problem really is? Why are they defending drug dealers?

Does Rick Perry have the Right to Terminate 23 million American Citizenships?

Does Rick Perry really have the right to even hint at seceding from the US without speaking to the constituents first. There have been a lot of people who have died for America from Texas, and I'm sure their families don't want somebody trying to use their citizenship as a bargaining chip for one persons political career.

As a matter of fact I am sure there are many in Texas who don't want anyone in the Texas Government messing with their US citizenship at all. Taking your personal beliefs and expecting your constituents to follow them is not the democratic way. The Texas governor is not in a seat of royalty. He is to follow the will of the people. He does not have the right to determine who is to be a US citizen.

Not to mention the Dollars and Federal Military bases. Maybe the Federal Government should talk to Texas about withdrawing all the United States faculties such as military bases, and the Airports that were built with all 50 state American Tax Money.

If Texas leadership doesn't want to be apart of the United States, isn't that about being UnAmerican. Does the Governor have the right to terminate the Citizenship of millions of Americans? Since he has been given this thought, will he allow people to leave Texas if they wish to remain US Citizens? Will he pay back the US Government for all their faculties, equipment, roads, and funding that has been spent in Texas?

I wanted my daughter to go to Washington

My daughter, who is in her junior year in college applied for the state intern program, to be in a congressman office. Unfortunately, Oklahoma is all republican on the congressional level. While I don't know for a fact if that had any bearing on the selection process, I have to wonder if that was a reason why she wasn't selected. And I know that being her father I'm biased, but she is an outstanding student, and she has studied abroad. She studied in the Middle East for a summer in Amman, which tells me she has more of an understanding of the middle east than most of Oklahoma's congressional representatives. We are a poor family, she has to pay her own way for these things.

What frustrates me is the possiblillity that she is being barred from a great learning experience because she isn't republican. I wish america was more about freedom of ideas than a bipartisan state that we have become. I am not a man of influence or wealth, so there is no way I can give her an edge in. It shouldn't have to be that way and I wish it wasn't. Nicole would be a great person to be the leader of the future we need.

But I am sure that of the 4 people selected to be in this program, probably deserved it. So I bear them no ill will, but the level of bipartisanship in this country sometimes makes me wonder.

I am not happy with the stimulus plan

First when Bush and the house republicans had the stimulus package, they gave the money away with no strings attached. Obama part is spending it on this that will not stimulate the economy. Both sides have gotten wrong in my opinion.

I wouldn't give money to a drug addict and expect them to cure themselves. Why would I expect a companies leaders of a failing business know how to do any better with more money? Bad habits in each case will continue to happen.

What we need to do is invest on the working or new business models. IF we want more jobs and stimulate the economy, I suggest we give stimulus money to those companies that are succeding in these difficult times. Those companies that knew how to plan for the future. Instead of investing in companies that are failures by their own design, we should invest in those that are surviving on their own prudent practices.

We also need to set free those ideas that are locked up. Possibly come up where money is given to Universities and think tanks to make open source technology and patents on things such as Cars that are ran off of water. Better and cheaper solar and wind power.

Open source technology means technology that would have a patent that would be open for all to use. Many know this in the software world as basically freeware. But Benjamin Franklin opened up the patents on many of his inventions so the whole world could benefit, from his lighting rod to his stove.

For those that don't understand open source, think of it like this. If Apple allowed anyone to make and use the technology of the Ipod, what would happen? There would hundreds if not thousands of companies making Ipods. The ipods would be more variety, more technologically superior, cheaper and used in everything. This would stimulate jobs because of the all companies that would jump into this market. But apple won't do that, and an Ipod can't drive you to work.

But an Imagine a Car that can do 50 to 100 mpg. If the research was paid for, and the patents were open for anyone to use. Or it could be a car that ran on water, or solar panels system that powered your house during the day, and stored enough to power your house through the night.

If we spent the stimulus money an opening up technology, making it open source then we would be helping American businesses. We could offer grants to univiersities to help educate our children, if they contribute towards this open source collaboration.

But instead of investing in the whole of America, were buying new vehicles for thte government why I have to drive in my 11 year old car, and pay for the senators new ride. Not only that, but spend billions on Washington DC, while I watch my own house devalue before my eyes.

The only part of the stimulus package I like is rebuilding the infrastructure of the roads and bridges in America. Probably because that's the only part of the stimulus that benefits us all.

We need aggressive Transparency in Government

I understand right now that President - Elect Obama is not in office, we need to see some ground work for Transparency into government. I would also like to see a move that would investigate and examine against corruption in washington, which in my humble opinion, transparency would help us see.

A lot of things are hidden in the name of National Security and I believe they are falsely classified as a means to hide illegal activity. As much as I would love to have job of being in charge and exposing all the corruption, coverups and mismanagement in our federal government, I know I do not have the surgical knowledge needed to do this quickly and efficiently. But I am sure there many out there that do, and that there are many people like me that would enjoy the job of bringing to light many if not all government activities.

One major step towards transparency, is to eliminate corrections to federal records. Many probably do not know this, but when our Representatives speak on the floor they are allowed to go in afterwards and change the Federal Record. In other words change what is recorded what they said. If they want to say this is what I meant, then they can add an amendment after the context of their speech. Showing us what they meant to say. But I and I'm sure you too, what to know what they actually said.

Second we need and easily searchable way to look at each and every bill the government has voted on. We need to see each and every ruling done by the supreme court in the same manner, and everything the executive office signs off on.

Thirdly, no government agency, should have the right to hide everything indefinitely. I think the most the government should be to keep something top secret is 20 years. FISA would be admended to allow this. By doing this we are keeping the US Goverment accountable for it's actions. We do not need to show the world our plans on how to build a nuclear weapon, but we need to show when the decesions was made and by whom to make them.

Anything that would need top secret clearance longer than that would need to be approved by a committee, that is made up of one person from the executive office, one from the judiciary, and at least 20 from the house, 10 reps and 10 senate. They would meat once every year and vote on each item that requires to maintain top secret clearance that is already 20 years or older in that status. This would require the government to report each item that requires top secret. If it isn't reported to this committee than it is offically not a secret and therefore open for public review.

That's right I've been supporter since the beggining. And tonight of all nights hope conquers cyncism. I saw the impossible happen. Motivated by the sheer idea that All americans can succeed in America, that idea now cemented in a reality that is now fact. It was really a war of fear versus hope, wasn't it. I am glad there are many Americans who could see that. I was amazed at the incredibe grateful and eloquent speech given by John McCain. I will give him credit for making probably the best concession speech of all time.

Now it's time for next impossible project. That's right president elect Obama, it's time to put me on in your executive committee. I can be the secretary of the people. The voice of the people that has a seat in the oval office. The voice that speak not in politics, but of those of the citizen.

Instead of Red and Blue states, why not purple states?

When I was in the military I never was fighting for the red states or the blue states. I was fighting for the United States. I greatly like the Audacity of Hope speech given by Barack Obama at the 2004 DNC convention in which he spoke about there should be no blue states, no red states but the United States.

Instead of encouraging lines of division we should be, patiently, trying to get more and more people to know what Barack Obama is about and how he will help the United States. While clearly the desparate acts of John McCain are to throw up walls of division any way he can, we must be the ones to reach that hand across.

I live in Oklahoma, and it's thought to be a red state. And I am one of those that think that way, but this year I am encouraged that I may even be wrong with this perception. As I drive around I see a lot of Barack Obama/Joe Biden signs. You never use to see any Democratic signs. And it may be just a Tulsa thing, but I can see where were no longer a completly red state. It's red and blue, making it purple.

As much as some may not like to hear this, but we need both conservatives and liberals. It's like you need rainy days just as much as sunny ones in order to make things grow. What I want is Barack obama as president, but let's reach out to our fellow citizens, that may not share our beliefs, but let's give them a thought to ponder.

The nation leaders were called together to solve a crisis. IT was thought that it would be impossible to get such bitter rivals to work together.

Then in the most bizzare change in history, the Republican party has now left Bush holding the bag and turenred their backs on their repsonsibilities to get some good news play. The first sign of dessention to the bipartisan ship came from the presidents own party in which they set the tone in congress by stating that they would not follow their president.

Now the stock market has a record drop, the largest in history. The new black monday. And what will be the coming of the nations next depression, should be named after the party that should be held responsible for not getting it resolved, and for creating the mess to begin with.

I mean where does McCain hypocrosy end. First he has stated time and time again how Industries, like banking, should "monitor themselves" to avoid costly government regulation.

Not to mention his involvement in what was the biggest S&L scandal previous to the current bank crisis. IS it just me or does it look like McCain is just seeking revenge against the agency that showed us his own, and I qoute from the SEC review, john mccain bad judgement?

McCain / Palin trying to sound like democrats

It's amazing that all of sudden McCain Palin are doing everything they can to sound like Democrats. I mean in Florida today Palin just stole the line of the Concerns of "Wall street should match the concerns of Main street". She just stole the Obama line.

All of sudden the McCain / Palin ticket is suddenly all about regulating the Banking industry, something McCain and palin who have universally against. They have countless said how the banking industry is better off policing themselves, and yet this week they have done 180 on that philosphy.

Not to mention the fact that they are doing everything they can to become the "change" party. You know for a couple trying to be the mavericks, they are more like the copy cats.

The one thing they have been consisted on is finding new ways to add trillions to the national debt. And of course their answer to solving that is not to, instead of finding better ways to get that billed paid, they endorse a policy of ignoring that debt.

Here's a new campaign strategy.We need to point out how McCain and Palin are trying to look like Barack Obama. IF I were to right a speech out it go something like this..

Imitation is the sincerest form of Flattery. That's how John McCain is complimenting the Democratic Party. He sees how well we are doing, and he is trying to be like us now. Barack Obama has been the Change president since the beggining of the Primaries. It's been Obama theme. Now you see John McCain saying how he is the Change president. Imitation.

He even went so far as to invite a Democrat to speak about him on his behalf at the Republican Convention. Just because Barack Obama had Democrats at the DNC speaking on his behalf.

Barack Obama is well spoken and young, with new ideas. So McCain had to find someone who is brand new and could speak well. He had to show that Republicans could support women to by nominating one to VP. OF course the Democrats had a female candidate for president. And they allowed a woman to run for VP 2 decades ago. But the Republicans are trying to change into Democrates.

Pretty soon they will be supporting Roe Versus Wade, just like we do.

Sarah Palin's Tax Problem

From today's Washington Post: Palin Billed State for Nights Spent at Home; Taxpayers Also Funded Family's Travel, by James V. Grimaldi & Karl Vick:

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has billed taxpayers for 312 nights spent in her own home during her first 19 months in office, charging a "per diem" allowance intended to cover meals and incidental expenses while traveling on state business.

The governor also has charged the state for travel expenses to take her children on official out-of-town missions. And her husband, Todd, has billed the state for expenses and a daily allowance for trips he makes on official business for his wife.

Palin, who earns $125,000 a year, claimed and received $16,951 as her allowance, which officials say was permitted because her official "duty station" is Juneau, according to an analysis of her travel documents by The Washington Post.

The governor's daughters and husband charged the state $43,490 to travel, and many of the trips were between their house in Wasilla and Juneau, the capital city 600 miles away, the documents show.

Jack Bogdanski (Lewis & Clark) outlines the tax problems Governor Palin faces as a result of these per diem payments in Governor Palin, Your Tax Return, Please:

"Per diem" allowances received by an employee can legally be omitted from her gross income if they constitute reimbursements for amounts that the employee could have deducted as business expenses had the employee paid for them out-of-pocket and not been reimbursed. Thus, for Palin, the tax question would appear to boil down to whether, had she not been reimbursed for the $60,441 of travel, meals, and lodging expenses, she could have legitimately taken business deductions for them.

It does not appear that such deductions would have been allowable for any amounts attributable to travel by her husband and children. Section 274(m)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code strictly forbids deductions for bringing spouses and dependents along on business travel unless the spouses and dependents (a) are employees of the taxpayer (here, the taxpayer is the governor), (b) are travelling for a bona fide business purpose, and (c) would otherwise be entitled to deduct the travel on their own tax returns. Unless Palin's spouse and kids are also her employees and she can show that they were away on their own businesses, their expenses would not be deductible by the governor. And therefore she cannot exclude from income any per diems attributable to any of them. (By the way, since she's the employee, the income would be required to be reported on her own return, not her kids'.)

As for her own travel, Palin could also run into tax problems. Only travel "away from home" qualifies for tax exclusion (or deduction), and for this purpose, one's "home" is generally the principal place of one's business. In this case, the governor reportedly works out of offices in both Anchorage and Juneau, but since she has only one state job, she can declare only one of those as her tax "home." If Juneau is her tax "home" (which would seem to be the case, since that's the capital), she cannot exclude or deduct meals and lodging expenses incurred in Juneau, and if Anchorage is her tax "home," she cannot exclude or deduct such expenses incurred in Anchorage or Wasilla. If she got per diem reimbursements for stays in both places, stays in only one place would appear to be excludible or deductible. And perhaps more importantly, the cost of regular commuting between one's residence and one's tax "home" is not deductible at all, no matter how long the distance between them; it is certainly possible that Palin's treks between the two locales are simply long-distance commuting for tax purposes.

China is Americas Predatory Lender

Right now America has a banker and it's called China. You can blame anyone you want to, but the sale of debt to China was approved by the Bush administration. More important blaming people want change where we are now.

Drill baby Drill scenario is fine. But what do we do until then. This is a serious question, because I can guarantee you that the drug dealers for Americas Oil addiction will continue to want to make a profit off of their product. At anytime until we are dependent, they can stop production. Increase the price, by simply making less of it. That's a win win for them. More money for less product.

Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae had to be seized to be own, and Lehman Brothers is currently looking at hefty cuts to stay a float. The banking industry as a whole is on shaky ground.

There is a lot of name calling in this election, what there isn't happening is on some extremely serious issues that is going to effect America. I don't care about the name calling, and really at this point I'm not interested at who's fault it is.

We are at the point right now where we need to keep this ship afloat. Not standing around arguing why it's sinking.

Along with that, has anyone asked palin if she knows what gun she killed the moose with? She claims a lot of things like being against the bridge to nowhere, but clearly she was also for it.

So know I'm wondering what else she has said that isn't exactly the way she pictures it. Like did she really kill her own moose? Or was someone helping her? So she doesn't have a cook or chaueffer in the governor mansion, how much money does she get to maintain it's upkeep? IS it like the bridge to nowhere, where even though she doesn't have a cook, she is still getting the money for a cook? How much actuall money did she return or stop spending by getting rid of her cook.

There isn't one terrorist group out there that wishes it could rip apart America like America does itself. TO be able to make America to divide itself into two, and make each side make up lies to destroy each other, to generate hate, to cause millions of dollars to go to this cause of hate generation. With two groups which strategically plan the demise of the other, and hopes it can drag each america in this fight.

THey both try to brainwash their followers to blindly follow the leadership of each group, so that the followers will do as they are told.Tell me terrorist group that doesn't wish it had this kind of power. This to decimate the American spirit in which the followers are suppose to be the ones telling the leaders what to do.

Do these two groups care they are causing the biggest type of Security Threat against America? No, they say they care about America but instead their battle for power and control of America weaken it, when they place American versus American.

So when your listening to all the political rhetoric and filling yourself with partisan political fevor and anger, remember you are acting in a way that the terrorist against America want you to act, they want you to hate another america. Creating an ideal time when America is at it's weakest, because it's causing a split in the country.

What may be one of the greatest con jobs in history about recieving federal funds, looks like Sarah palin has successfully fooled the American public. Stealing money like you would see on the big screen like Oceans 11, where there is deciet, there's a fall guy, and the money is still stolen.

Sarah Palin initiated and help gather support to the bridge to nowhere. But when it came to the accountability to the american people, she stopped the bridge from being built. But the important part here, she kept the money.

It's about the the money, I'm sure if she could build that bridge for $30,000 no one would have cared. But $230 Million dollars people cared. People would still care if they knew that money was never returned.

The next time Sarah Palin likes to use the bridge to nowhere as something she stopped being built, I would really like someone to ask her to return the federal funds for it. She's totted as a favorite in Alaska, but not in Ketchikan.

Right now if the Budget of the United States could be compared to a household, it would be a bunch of maxed out credit cards, with china being the predatory lendor on the mortgage. Why do the republicans want us to keep charging on another credit card, even if it has a lower intrest rate?

Barack obama needs to focus on the economy, jobs, alternate fuels, and making the focus of his comparrisons with Senator McCain.

Joe biden needs to compare his experience versus sarah palin and go after her like if she was mitt romney.

Bi Partisan help for Hurricane Relief

These are the times when when the blue states, and the red states, need to become the United States. THis is the time when republican americans and democrat americans need to be Americans. THis is the time when we need to put a hand out to our fellow Americans. We see the danger on the Horizon and we can act together . We need to put our hands together to help each other.

My ideas is that this website probably needs to focus on what we can do, the democratic party needs to team together organizing it's party to help the Americans in the Gulf Coast. This would be an excellent time for the Democratic leadership to show how well organized and how fast they can make things happen.

This website could be used for getting relief, donations, and logistics to help new orleans.

Open calls from the Democratic leadership offering help to the Gulf Coast.

Getting the ORganizers ready to help with relief efforts with food supplies, and other aid.

The Democrats in St Paul could offer their help to the RNC if they follow through with their plans to turn that into a call bank.

IN an emergency I don't care what political party extends a hand to help me, just as long as their is a hand.

Did all those fear based campaigning inspire 4 people to try to make an attempt on Barack Obama life. Those muslim rumours, and others attacking his religion with no profound sense. Those mass email campaigns, are they guilty for planting the seeds of murder into some weak minds? I'm not talking about conspiracy here, I'm talking about influence.

Are those people proud that their ad campaings, their smear campaigns worked so well that there were attempts made on someones life? That these vicious attacks promoted and inspired a group of people to get together to kill an innocent person?

Is this politics America, has our political process dropped down to a third world nation?

The bible has something called the Ten commandments. Now our friends on the right like to think they are the experts on it. My question to them is now that we know that there was no weapons o fmass destruction.

So thou shall not kill and not bear false witness on your neighbor. These are two of the commandments. Because Bush lied about the weapons of mass destruction, that led to the deaths of thousands of Americans and Iraqis. My christian belief is we are all gods children.

So is a lie that led to death of thousands, is that not evil?

I'm sure everyone has seen the paris response video that was done as satire. But in it was a real solution for the current power dilemia. It's a blend between both presidential campaign candidates proposed plan. It's common sense approach using that best parts of both. Use domestic drilling until we can get alternative fuels, electric cars, and new technologies in place having both epa oversite on the domestic drilling and government incentives for the new technologies and new type of cars.

Why can't the two candidates see that? I mean if a comedian can come up with a good solution adopting and blending two good ideas, why can't two political parties do the same?

You look on this message board and you see the same bipolar additudes, but if we combined two good ideas together, then we have the best plan for the US. Is it so hard to combine the best parts of a republican and democratic plan, to come up with a winning plan for the US?

I'm not for a democratic plan or republican plan. I'm for a plan that works.

I ask you to initiate a different role in your campaign. I would like to see you not react to John McCain negative campaign tactics. Instead at this time, I need you to lead, motivate, and inspire a nation. Your being accused of acting Presidential, before being president. Consider it a compliment. Right now no one is accusing your opponent of that. Do not allow things to stop your campaign from advancing forward. To stop and bicker over thing like name calling, would be a wast of your nations time.

IF a candidate isn't acting Presidential when running for president, then he should drop out of the race. It's like my parents used to say, you dress for the job you want, not the job you have.

You need to lead the conversations that will take place in the election. It means you have to address solutions to our problems, and use the ones that will work. Regardless if a Democrat or Republican comes up with it. Make a commitment to the American people that it you will not be the Republican President, the Democratic President, but the American President that this country needs.

This is the time that you will need to state that we need to prioritize American intrest over any Republican or Democrat intrest. You will not be the President of Division, you will be the President of the United.

Instead of following the traditional trail of division through this campaign, follow the trail of leadership, unifying a nation, instead of divding it.

You know I normally don't pay attention to Paris Hilton. But I completly understand her making fun of John McCain, and the way he used her in his campaign. That's why I posted her video up on my website http://www.amadeusmax.com. I can only hope that Britney Spears comes up with one.

I mean is smart to start alienating possible constituents? Basically John McCain is attacking celeberities. In Paris Hiltons case, is it really smart to negatively show them in campaign commericals when they are successful, and came from rich influential families. I don't believe in attacking some one just because they are poor, or just because they have money. I'm not saying paris is with out flaws or even mistakes, but is it the right thing to make negative references on a citizen of the US who is not in the race, or even involved in a campaign?

Basically he's showing us what he could be doing to you and me if he thought it would be to his advantage, right?

My first point, McCain says it may take 50 to a hundred years to before we get out of Iraq. Is that his nice political way of saying our troops and military leaders are so weak we can not do it sooner?

Why can WWII leaders take less time with more war fronts, countries than a modern day, a high tech army in one country?

Why would I want a leader who wants a time line longer for a one country war, than it took a president who handled a World war? And John McCain claims he's the FORIEGN POLICY expert?

There is no way I want a president who has such a low opinion of our soldier and military leaders. No way.

John McCain campaign is so weak he has to use Paris Hilton and Britney spears images to run his campaign. John McCain can't use his qoutes. He can't use his plans to talk to people about. He can't use his policy, because no one wants to listen to him. The only time he gets even a little press time is when he is being a bitter old man trying to tear down Barack Obama.

It's a shame really, because everything I used to like about McCain he himself is destroying. His campaign strategy is about the most self destructive campaign I've seen, beating out the 2004 John Kerry campaign is no easy feat. What happen to the Maverick we all loved? It's like all the original ideas he had, and values, were taken away from him the instant he became the republican nominee.

Instead of getting two great debaters talking about values and different points of view, all I hear from McCain is him being negative and trying to claim that Obama is negative. Obama is being positive not only here, but around the world.Could it be the McCain camp is jealous of all that cheering in America and the world?

McCain is looking like one of those old guys from the muppet show, statler being george bush and waldorf being mccain.Both just being a sideline to the real show.

The real shame of it all is that, McCain is giving the image of holding on to the system and ways that got us to where we have Gas Prices at $4, an unending war in iraq, which is glad to talk about how ineffectual we are doing by stating we could be there for 100 years, way to support the troops. Nothing like president saying your doing so poor we may not be able leave for hundred years.

Our dependence on Oil is ridiculous. It controls our economy. McCain solution is for us to get more oil. Now if you want to help an addict on drugs, the idea is not to go and get more drugs. The idea is to get the addict off of drugs. But the McCain way is find more ways to get the americans to go back to their drug dealers that keep them addicted.

McCain as the grumpy old man will continue to be unpopular. McCain the idealist, the senator, the man prior to the nomination would have been a worthy opponent. The McCain we have now, has become the sterotype of what we hate in politiicans.

Did politics of hate inspire Jim D. Adkisson

Are politics making us hate this country? It is definitiely dividing us, and doing so is making lose our core value systems.

Jim D Adkisson wrote in 4 page letter describing why he went into a church with 12-Guage Shotgun, with the full intention of shooting people in the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church in Knoxville because “he hated the liberal movement".

I have to wonder what kind of hate politics motivated that kind of hate. Do we need to really put out so much extreme opinions that are basically saying we no longer want freedom of belief? I mean couldn't the acts of Jim Adkisson be considered the acts of terrorist? If he was Palestine and he did this in a Jewish Temple, you know they would. Except Jim Adkisson picked politics as his motivation to his killing spree.

It is my way or I'm going to kill you. Isn't that why we stopped Saddam Huessein?

I'll accept the fact that this guy was insane. But I want to make it clear that I don't wish ill will, with people that don't agree with me. I think it takes Conservatives and liberals to make a great America. It's like rainy days and sunny ones. Its never gonna to be just one or the other, and we need both to survive.

Fighting corruption

One of the primary things I want is for Barack to fight Corruption. Right now is upsetting me is a local Count Commision in Tulsa where I live. So to get this out to my fellow Tulsans I wrote this following article for them.

In my humble opinion, its about time for a thorough inspection of our County Commissioner. It seems everything she touches or is responsible for ends in controversy, or suspicion of corruption. From Richard Roberts being sued over donations to her campaign, to the highly questionable relationship with the Murphy Brothers and practices of the Tulsa State Fair Grounds. She successfully removed Bells Amusement park from Tulsa.

Richard Roberts now is separated from the Oral Robetts University. Bells no longer pays it's rent to tulsa, which was millions of dollars each year, while Murphy Brothers Big Splash is allowed to go rent free with no payment. Now the former head of Expo Square is suing Randi Miller and Tulsa County, Claiming he was instructed by Randi Miller to keep Big Splash off of the Radar.

I don't understand why she kicked bells out, without replacing the income to the fairgrounds and the surrounding businesses. After losing millions of dollars to local business we find out that her friends get to go rent free on the fair grounds.

There is a lot of controversey surrounding Randi Miller, and I think we need to formally request the OSBI to look into everything that Randi Miller has touched.We need a stringent investigation of everything involved with the Tulsa Fair Grounds, the County Commissioner office, and all her relationships that are looking like they compromised her office and Tulsa County. I am making a call to everyone to send an email to the governor, the osbi, the Mayor to have Randi Miller investigated.

Barack walks today where my daughter was a month ago

In this amazingly stange and fascinating world we live in, I can honestly see the connections made around me. I am not rich, I am not even upper middle class. I am barely lower middle class. My daughter because she was an exceptional student was able to go study abroad. She went to the Middle east without fear to learn about new cultures and people. She went to Amman and Jordan and stayed. She only return recently to be home on July 2nd. And today, I see a Presidential candidate following the same path my daughter took. I can't help but wonder if they will run into the same people. Walk on the same ground.

It was with great pride, and hope that went with my daughter. Can I not say the same for Barack Obama? And when he comes back from his journey, will he be able to understand a little more, see the world with a better view? My daughter came back with a deeper understanding of the Kingdom of Jordan, it's people, it's culture. She also understood the tenious arrangment of the ties between Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Israel and Palestine. Not an easy one.

So I wish Barack Obama that you come back with a deeper understanding of that culture, that you take it with you into your Presidency, to make this world a better place. And know that there are other Americans, that have gone before you, both younger and older, who are willing to help you and America.

What Political Party does god belong to?

I am sick and tired of Evangelist telling us who they endorse. Every time I hear some religious leader publicly announcing they are endorsing a politician I find it a violation towards god. If god loves each and everyone of us, there is no way a democratic christian is any different than a republican christian. No where in the bible does it say you need to be part of one particular politcal party. If you hear that , then it's a man re-writing the bible. Someone who is trying to sit on throne of god trying to rewrite the bible and the constitution of the united states.

SO if you are of Christian belief, and you hear your church leader or elder, talking politics from the pulpit. Ask him when did it become more important for him to endorse the will of man over the will of god. I mean nothing beats gods will, so why does a religious leader need to endorse any man?

Would the New Yorker show McCain in a KKK Hood?

The only thing that could match the gross image of what has happened to Barack Obama, is if the New Yorker would put picture of McCain in his living room wearing a KKK hood along hugging President Bush, with a picture of Timothy McViegh on the wall.

No they wouldn't. So is it because Barack is black that they can get away with the characture that paints such an ugly image?

What gives the New Yorker the right to Prejudice and stero typical towards Barack Obama? I don't know. It's not funny, and it's blantly trying to enforce the false negative images of Barack Obama. In my opinion it's racist. I'm not black either. If I can see that it's racist with ease, why is anyone else not seeing it.

I think there should be a boycott against the Magazine. I think that until they publicaly apoligise and show some kind of credible gesture like a huge donation towards a charity, I don't think any supporter of Barack should buy that magazine.

If I was Barack Obama, I would be suing them. This isn't a freedom of speech issue, it's a hate crime.

The New Yorker enforcing prejudicial views

Today, being the only Democrat in my office today, faced an emboiled hatred of Barack Obama. THis person trying to convince me of Barack Obama deep routed muslim and black libertarian beliefs, thus making Barack Obama a suporter of communistic values.I tried to be calm and say things let's just agree to disagree, but the right wing radio demonization of barack obama, had basically brainwashed my coworker into a brown shirt hate filled republican.

From there I read about the New Yorker cover. I find it prejudice and enforcing the misleading false views of the presidential candidate. Further, I believe it was done on purpose. I wish that Barack Obama was my personal friend, so that the next time this person goes off to fairy tale land, I could call on Obama and make my coworker face Obama and make the accuasations to his face.

If that happen, I believed my coworker opinion on Obama would change. I don't know he would vote for him, but he would see the sterotype image, the false accuasations would disapear and he would finally see the real person obama is.

So yeah, this white american feels that the New Yorker cover is offensive because it was intentionally made to help build up and strengthen the anti-obama sterotypes. It is fear politics.

President Bush selling America to OPEC

Is President Bush working on his retirement plan? Is his 401k the the Saudi Bank? Why is he so desperately trying to sell our mineral rights to Saudia Arabia? He's tried to sell America that we need to drill offshores, but thank full congress didn't buy it. He tried to sell the idea would solve our immediate needs. Fortunately most Americans republican and Democrat realized that not one of ounce of oil could solve our immediate need, and would not for at least 7 years.

Then on his own, he used his executive authority to allow it. WHat gives him the right to unsurp the congress and the American peoples will. I would like to see ABC, CBS, NBC or hell even MTV do a expose on the President Bush and his oil contacts. No president should ever go against the will of the people for his own self benefit.

Some will argue that offshore american drill sites will help America. I would like to know which American company would be doing the drilling, and which American company would be holding the oil.

Right now the only ones that could handle the Oil Exploration, offshore drilling rigs, and storage are the same people who could increase production of the oil they have, to reduce the price today. The same people who in their own countries, the people pay less for a gallon of gas.

So when President Bush says offshore Oil drilling will help America, how? . WHeres the United States control of that Oil and the price that we pay for it?

I would not have voted to protect FISA, or anyone helping them. I believe they have way to much protection, and the FISA court system use is being abused the way it is. There is now way to verify that this system isn't being abused, and no real check system inplace. In addition there is little or no accountablity on the FISA system. I believe that the FISA system needs to have maximum time range on what it can keep secret. I believe that 5 years should be sufficient.

I will still vote for Barack Obama, but I do not agree with the way he voted on this bill.

How will Barack Obama protect Electric Cars from Oil Companies?

This site talks about a few of them, but it specifically was talking about how the Oil Companies basically did everything they could to kill electric car production in California. Obvisouly money can buy off environmentalist in California.

With barack obama saying that we need to become less dependent on foriegn oil, what is his plane to protect those technologies that will help us become less dependent on oil? What laws will he make to allow those technologies to grow, and not be buried under lawsuites. Will he protect those technologies like he protected the phone companies concerning FISA?

McCains own Campaign shows his lack of leadership

It looks like there is infighting inside the McCain Campaign. Who is top dog, which PAC has strong internal influence, who is the head campaign writer. Even his own adviser John Weaver was Qouted -he needs to finally, firmly decide where he wants to take this campaign-.

This goes to show how McCain isn't executing leadership inside his own campaign. IF he can't keep the people from fighting each other in his own campaign, what chance will he have as President. He obviously hasn't stepped in and taken control, because everyone working for him are more concerned with being the teachers pet than they are on working on a solid campaign. It also shows why he isn't firm on anything. It also makes it look like his staff is the one selecting which way he should believe and take his campaign, he's just the puppet they control.

On the other hand, Obama is getting credits for revolutionary new campaign strategy, his team is working solid at electing him. I guess I should be glad that President, oops I mean the Democratic Presidential nominee team is solid and McCain is busy fighting amongst themselves. But this a time when we need a leader that will lead. McCain is failing before he even starts.

You know we really do need a leader that can grasp modern technology. Unlike the current administration who can't convince me he grasps literacy. We need someone who can execute good judgments in a timely manner. When Barack Obama chose Chris Hughes, he was changing the way Presidential, and probably, all elections from this point forward would run.

I love the Experience Barack Obama has with making the right decision, and I love his inexperience he has with the Politics as Usual. He needs to be bold and start acting like the President now. When he meets with world leaders, he needs set forth the Agenda the United States will be following. He needs to find those that will not only be our Allies, but be act as true friends to the United States.

He needs to call out the bad in our Government, just like he did with the Public Campaign System. He needs to grow on the work he has already done to show more transparency in Government, to show all contractors that work for the government, and all the goods and services they provide. We need to be able to see what all the members of Congress do, say, and act on as our representatives. We need bolder steps towards transparency, more than he has already done, with the Federal Government.

We need a President that will go to the people, with a clear plan for economic stability, growth in industry and jobs, and a real strategy for making us less oil dependent. We need to balance our budget.

We need to face the threats that are abroad. All of them, Terrorist, Economic, and Environmental.

A clear step towards this would be announcing those that would be cabinet members. I know I should be included but I'm not a player in DC. But it would be nice to see the best person In America in the Cabinet positions, and not those appointed for political considerations. We need those that are fighting for the best interest in America, not their own political ideology, or beliefs. It's not easy being President. But with Great Power, comes great responsibility.

Cleaning up the Public Campaign System.

Our lives are fluid and dynamic. We face storms on some days and we bask in the sun on others. Because we in our own life have our priority changes so we must expect the priority of the United States change. I don't consider it flip flopping when someone needs to make a course adjustment. When changes were made after 911 in many Government policies many understood this was a necessary policy based on current events.

Like a ship trying to keep it's course in changing winds, our sails may need to adjust to make sure we reach our goals. Those goals start with a safe and secure, economically prosperous America, and end with Barack Obama being president.

Because of Senator Obama's supporters, he was able to by pass a corrupt public campaign system. What amazed me is that no one made a big stink of the fact that Barack called the public system corrupt, not the news media, not the republican party, or even the democratic party. They just made a big announcement he wasn't using it.

Does this mean that the republicans are using a system that they quietly acknowledged as corrupt? I can't say. All I can say for now, is that it had better become Democratic priority to clean up the Public Campaign System that has been declared by the leader of the democratic party as corrupt.

Where I think the campaign should go

It's time that we start providing the American people solutions that will work for the problems that we have currently. We need to also quit focusing on stupid side issues of the campaign. The first ladies are important but solutions to the oil crisis, world peace, and our economy should have more press time.

We need alternate energy solutions. Not solutions that provide opec control over our offshore oil. Maybe we need to get imminent domain laws over patents to allow for technological advancements for our energy needs. We have the Tesla, an example of a fast electrical car, on wikipedia there are cars that run on hydrogen and air pressure. So we have working models for alternate solutions, why aren't we seeing them in production? Why isn't the government offer incentives to put them in production?

The war in Iraq. The biggest question here is when did Osama bin Laden go to Iraq? We need to make an open commitment to the world on our agenda outside of the United States. We need to be clear so there is no confusion on what we will do.

I want Barack Obama to set a clean government agenda. Where more work is on transparency on the United States Government. IF you can't stop the lobbyist in washington, then let's make them accountable to who they see and about what. I would like to see websites that show what was actually said on the senate floor, and no modified versions after the fact. I would like to see who voted for what, where and when. Both in the house and the senate. I would like to know every visitor of every federal politician.

I would like to see the time accountability of every federal politician. WHere they spend their time, if they are actually spending 40 hours each week on their constituents or on being relected.

My biggest Fear, John Obama

MEET JOHN OBAMA.I know it's a scary idea. But my biggest fear is that these two candidates will try to be like each other so much it will be hard to tell them apart. Why do I have such a fear? Well let's look at John McCain.

John McCain is one of the better republicans. And if you keep up on votes and things like that he has been a friend of the Democratic party on some votes. So he will change. John McCain completely changed his stance on about %75 of his beliefs in the last 8 months. He has whored himself out to the republican party. He has done everything he can to get this nomination, changing some of his core values. He will do anything to become president.

Barack Obama, whom I support, could adopt a theory that because him and Clinton ran campaigns so similar that he won, that same strategy may work in the general election. OF course this is a failed strategy, as Kerry found out in his run. If your going to be a Democrat, be a democrat. No one likes those that ride the fence during the election year, when they have never done it before.

While both are completely different on a lot of issues and beliefs, they are both skilled politicians. I hope Obama wiill stay strong to the platform that got him to where he is now.

In these changing times, not only do we need a President to unite all citizens in the United States regardless of political idealogy, religion, or race,we need the best President the United States has ever had. We need motivational speeches that are far greater than the DNC "the audacity of Hope speech". We need action from day one in office. We need a leader who has his executive staff in place on day one to initiate all policies, economic, foriegn affairs, domestic and ethics reform. At the same time one that not only takes care of issues of the United States, but can address the world and be the best world leader of his time.

Mr Obama we need to see you step away from the traditional battle for president, and step up to showing the American people what the best president of the United States intends to do. We don't need the traditional bickering between the two parties, we need a leader who can rise above bickering and actually get something positive done. We don't need another politicain playing the blame game, we need solutions to real problems. I know it's hard not to get into the tit for tat battles, but we need direction as a people. I am not afraid. I have taken a beating from the beggining and yet my support stayed intact. I believe in a UNITED STATES. I don't see Democrats and Republicans, I see Americans. When I washington I am not there to further my lifes goals or ambitions, I am there to protect and build the United States of America. I only say this because they should be many excellent candidates for Vice President. Those that share the vision of Barack Obama, and the intestinal fortitude to make it happen. We are not talking about an easy job. So I say take your time Mr. Obama. While I know I would be an excellent Vice President and you would get 110% from me, but I know there are more qualifed candidates out there.

We need a person who will deliver on making change in America. Not slowly, but immediate. Someone who is about results, and knows how to get congress to act instead of acting like. Please Mr. Obama do not act in Haste. Do not act under pressure from the party, media or anyone else. We need the best people for the United States. Those that can act in it's best intrest. We need intelligent decesions, not knee jerk reactions. We need someone who isn't blaming why it didn't get finished, but congradulating all those that help a job well done.

So Mr Obama choose someone who is willing to fight for the US in the VP slot, like you did for the Presidential nominee.

President Bush is pushing an agenda to allow the drilling and production on the Anwar grounds, and off american shores. He claims that this will allow the lowering of oil prices. My question to our president, which American company would be doing this? Are you saying we allow Opec to control the oil in our own lands? Are you suggesting that we allow the same oil companies that decide when to produce and when not to control the production of oil on our own soil? While I understand how producing more oil would lower prices, who are we going to get to do that, that isn't controling the production oil right now? We don't even own the oil production coming out of alaska. So he's arguing for the foriegn control of Oil in Anwar and offshores of America. The same people who are refusing to increase production now.

I really didn't like the tone of Hillary Speech tonight. Allthough after hearing the spinmasters talk I could see that it may be hard for a Clinton to deal with a loss, it being a first. But the tone was definitely off, and it sounded like she was either forcing her VP position or she was going to run as an independent.

She asked for people to write to her, and tell her what they thought. I think we should. For the record, I don't want her as VP. There should be a price to be paid for certain actions that were done. Unless she gonna be accountable and apologise for some the Clinton smear tactics, I don't want her near the VP position.

As one the most grueling battles ever in the primary process comes to a close, let us all be joyful that we have participated in a moment in United States History. This could be be on primary that will actually overshado the presidential race. Where Democrats have come out to vote 2 to 1 over republicans, and millions of never before voters have made their presence known.

I am not convert. I was waiting for Barack Obama to announce his Presidential bid. I was not alone, as many knew as I did, when he was at the DNC convention and gave that great speech, that awe inspiring speech, that let me know this one was going to president some day. I would have voted for him at that convention.

And if they get caught with underage children they will say they were spirtually married and that makes everything a-ok.

What makes it even worse, is the crimes that were known to be committed, beyond a shadow of a doubt. They have these mothers that have been getting dhs or other welfare payments for being "single mothers". It is a clear case of fraud. IF this was you and me, and CPS came and got our children. Even if it turned out the original charges were completly false, would we be able to get our children back so easily? Espically if we couldn't prove we were the parents, or we had a job that could feed and support them? IF we cheated the government out of thousand of dollars, wouldn't we be considered criminals, and therefore unfit parents?

In the Environment where I work, there are a lot of hard core republicans. Before you go completly knocking my coworkers out, you have to see how I view them first. I think all of them are hard working individuals, respectfull for the most part, and decent human beings. Helpfull, even.

But in this enviroment there are many times in which I stand alone. I have to remember not to get angry and make counter remarks that are to be mean as the remarks I recieve.

I wish sometimes Barack Obama was there, not for me to just meet him, but to explain some of the crazy accusations that have been brought up against him during this long primary run. Don't get me wrong, it would be great to meet him. But in the environment where I work, when the first cermonial gown pictures came out, implicating Barack was a muslim, my desk was covered with that photo.

Yet I perservered. My defiance was my Barack Obama sign I kept in the window of my car. Not returning negative rhetoric, but pointing out the politics as usual type of attacks. I asked them do they really believe these lies, when I knew they are intelligent enough to see through it.Through the storm I gave my support. Through each made up crisis, from flag pins to Reverend Wright. I stood up and supported Barack Obama.

I don't stand alone. There is now one who stands with me. And maybe that's what we all should do. Not berate people, Not make fun of them. Not counter attack them in the same way we areut keep our minds open when others are shut. Believe in what is right and act in the right way.

While it would be great if Barack Obama could face each of his naysayers face to face, sometimes we the supporters are his face. The reality is it's impossible for him to be everywhere at once. But where we are, he is.We are his representation. ANd being his representation, that makes him standing beside us as we stand up for him on his behalf.

Maybe it is the strength of our resolve, that will help us elect the greatest president in us history.

My Daughter left for the Middle East Today

My daughter, my only child, left today for the middle east. My daughter has exceeded almost my every wish for her. She is intelligent, strong, and beautiful. She's a 4.0 college Junior, and she will have me on the edge of my seat until her return back to the United States. You know I was always concerned about the middle east and our soldiers there, but when it is your own child, that is in the Middle east, it gives it a more raw directness.

So yes now, I'm really concerned with foriegn Policy. You know I will probably will stop listening to local news and pay attention only to foriegn news. Thank god for the internet, because I now can read the news the rest of the world gets to hear, that somehow gets filtered or censored in the United States.

These are my personal thoughts. I don't like what Bush has recently done by making BiPartisan politics on foriegn soil. But it does not surprise me, and it goes show where his aliegance lies. Mine is in America, Barack is in America and I hope yours is in America.

This weekend my daughter will be going into the middle east. What I pray for is peace. I don't want anyones children, American, Christian, Muslim or Iraqi or of any nation to come to any harm. I want Terrorism stopped but I also want the world to get along. I want my daughter to return home safely.

A bolder message is to talk about how we will acheive this. How we will bring peace to the world. While others may talk about how they failed to do it, we need to talk about how we will accomplish it. How we will make it happen where those before us could not. This is our turn to prove ourselves.

John Edwards and Barack Obama compliment each other. They don't always agree but they were good competitiros. His endorsement of Barack I have been waiting for, a very long time. The way they spoke on the issues were similiar, but cohesive to each others plan of attack. I would work for John Edwards on any committee he was on for Obama, but I would like it if he was on one where we could go after lobbyist and pacs.

I also believe that his announcement today was golden, as it drew all the attention away from Hillary primary.

UP until recently I viewed Rev Wright as a cival rights leader that should have been born for a different era. But that has changed now. He is using his new found fame to try to glorify himself, sacrificing the will of god, let alone the Barack Obama Campaign. I feel sorry for those that have defended him, much like those that may have followed Jim Baker and Jimmy Swaggart before their own egos made them feel superior as well. They followed someone they believed in, that decided that their glorification became more than their job as a representive of their religious belief. They to did not care about lives they would wreak in pursuit of their own vices.

Reverend Wright has done more to hurt his cause than any racist individual or group could have ever done. Acting like a spoiled arrogant child in front of the press core. While I believe there have been racial problems in the US, I don't believe it is as bad as he paints it to be. In time where there are Black Entertainers winning oscars, and black politicians running for president, it's almost like he wishes it was a time where there was more oppression, and more racisim. A time where he could be a more justified leader. It's like he's jealous of Barack Obama and his bid for president. So he is striking out at him, for accomplishing something Reverend Wright himself could never do.

Hillary Clinton wins are little confusing to me. Her people say they support and believe in her, yet they do not contribute to her. I am considering all things equal, say each democrat on average contributes the same to their nominee of choice. Shouldn't she have more money? Why is she in debt? Has she been getting money and spending it on something else?
If she were the Nominee, all the money that Barack raised, does that money go to her? WOuld she be able to get her money she loaned her campaign, paid back by Obama supporter money? Me personally I don't want one cent of my money going to Hillary Clinton. I would rather Barack go independent and run his election solo.
With her constantly going to debt, what does this say about her ability to balance the budget?

This may be a tough pill for some to understand. But I didn't get involve with the Barack Obama campaign to support the democratic party. I believe in Barack and will stand behind him. I will not stand behind just anyone, let alone what any political party tells me to.

You know when it comes to the confusion, carnage, and contempt that is Iraq, the Republicans as a group are all in. They are all about rebuilding and getting that country on it's feet. What about America? Why not spend the money here to help out our jobless, displaced workers, and those effected by the current economy. Why not get together with the same enthusiasm and do something that helps the American Citizen like the effort that's put out for the Iraqi Citizen. If you don't Universal Health plan, get together to do so something that will help me with the hospital cost, preventive care, and higher quality life here in the US for each American Citizen. Why not build our infrastructure here? We obvisouly don't need more bridges falling down.

Republicans are all about spending the money on foriegn countries and lands. WHy can't they do it domestically? Do republicans ignore the needs of their own people?

I have been posting at abcnews forum for over 3 years. I am one of the few barack supporters that post there. Recently, my profile or login was blinded. This is where you are allowed to post, and you are the only one who it's visible to. What someone found out is that if you print the threads you can see all the posts that abcnews blinds out. That's how I found out I was blinded. Now if I was posting hateful, threatening, or some other outrageous commentary I could understand why. But that wasn't the case. But ABCNEWS moderators in their infinite wisdom doesn't even tell the people that it's happening to, and when your fellow posters tell you about it they get blineded. I decided I would make sure that my posts would be within reason, and started to post under I am amadeusmax. That soon was blinded. I know double check all my posts, with two browsers to make sure that they actually get on. But I think it's censorship to manipulate what news should be an issue.

In addition abcnews does not inform anyone that they do this to them. They require an email you would think they would at least tell the poster not to bother anymore.

Just a reminder that not all people are not made up of what you see. When you are out there talking to people remember to get your facts straight, and know that some people today may be for one party, but yesterday were for another.

Make sure you have your facts straight, Like Hillary and Condoleezza some may have switched sides for very important reasons to them. And politics change. Don't consider all people the same. Understand that people can have a different point of view, and have an intelligent disucssion with them about the differences, alllow them to come to their own conclusions. If they don't want that, then walk away.

You can lead a horse to water. If that horse doesn't want to drink you have only two choices. Drown the horse, or walk away and wait for it to get thirsty enough to try on it's own.

I have stated many times before I don't need to meet barack obama. I really think he has better things to concentrate on. But on the other hand, purely selfish, it would be nice to be able to sit down and talk with him. Find out the difference between the man on the TV screen, versus the Man in real life. But I think I would want to do that after the election, Win, lose or draw.

I know there have been people who will be given an opportunity to have dinner with him, and I extend my congratulations to them. You know I recently recieved a friend request that was talking abut this website, and how great they thought it was. And after it giving it some thought, they were right.

The other candidates don't really allow their people a voice. Here the people do have a voice. They can say their thoughts, concerns and voice opinions. I understand this is mass communication, but I know that it's also a great message delivery system. Those in the field doing grass roots work, have a direct tie in, where other campaigns are lost at to what to do.

I don't know who created this, but they deserve a thanks and all the people that work on it, from hardware to software. In the highly competive race for the presidency, I believe that this specific tool is a specific reason why this campaign has been so competitive.

Besides the Charisma of Barack Obama, this site in my opinion is the #1 reason why Barack has been able to $ campaign donations, that have literally broken the record books.

This is technology working. I hope that Barack Obama will be able to use other Technology to work for the government, instead of bogging it down. Making it function instead of being a wasted resource.

My example would be, this is a great campaign site and it helps both the candidate and the candidates supporters. The other websites, don't function as well.The other websites merely advertise for the candidate. No involvement or care about the supporters.

Again, as a worker in the field, I commend the team responsible for this website. Effective design, with outstanding results. Thank You. Wish I was on the team that made this.

Looking for my 100th Friend

It's amazing since I have been on this board, how many people I have contacted or been in contact with. As my first venture into going out and supporting any candidate for any reason, this is a good way to start. I don't know who decided the final social network ideal, but I think that it was a great ideal and has probably paid in dividends to Barack Obama campaign.

So during the last year I have been on this I have seen it grow, and accumalted some friends along the way. I always make it practice to look to see what every one of my friends have posted, see what they are doing. Most are engaged still, even though the Primaries have left their respective states.

That gives me hope for the future. I know that the president is about his people. And as much as a president needs to lead, his people need to lead as well. We may need to back him act, act in his behalf, follow in the best way we can. For the better tommorrow will be delivered on what we do.

How I was inspired by the Candidate barack Obama

Barack Obama as a candidate has been inspirational has a human being. He's been put through a great deal of duress and personal scrutiny. His pastor, wife and everyone else he has known has been examned to the strictest standards. His religion has been examined and talked about in negative context. Yet he still continues, a positive step towards the presidency.

He still maintains positive remarks towards his comptetitor and he encourages open dialog. After being raked through some very hot coals, he still wanting to be fair. He still expects the highest standards from his staff, and he does not retaliate in the same manner he has been attacked.

So I veiw Barack Obama as a new type of candidate. One of great self discipline. He may be one of the younger Presidential Candidates, but he surely has been on the stronger, if not the strongest. Some compare him to other great figures in History, from JFK to MLK. I think he will be his own mark in History, that will shadow most figures.

But more importantly is that he has stayed the course. He has not faltered and he continues to march forward.

The fact he still want's play by a higher standard, still wants to stick to the issuees concerning this nation is remarkable. He brings the level of the Presidency up to a new level. He is helping to clean the election process through his discipline, his example. Others pale in comparison. I would love to be that way just in my day to day life.

As we walk around in representation of Barack Obama. I believe we need to be a two fold operation. One talk about Barack Obama in factual sense, about what he has said and done. Another is to be the example of what kind of America we need to be to make great things happen for this nation.

The second part is harder than the first. As you walking and talking on behalf of Barack Obama, you may need to help somebody. You may need to use some self discipline. If some one is determined to vote for someone else, we should thank them for participating in the voting process.

Barack Obama has stated publicly, he doesn't want blind leadership, what he wants is a better nation. You don't get that from yes men. You get that by listening. Listening to everyone who has something constructive to say.

So be kind, courtesy, factual, and listen. Help this campaign. Be the American that will be the America that everyone wants. It has to start somewhere. IF we want the best of America, then we need to be the Best American we can be.

Barack Obama may be the leader, but we are the part that makes it happen.

There are many good people who have had to deal with radical actions of pastors. Oral Roberts (god will take me home) , Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Baker to name a few. No one blamed these Parishoners for the actions their pastors.
Obvisouly the muslim angle didn't work, so they went after Wright.

Obama has a Complete section on his website that addresses all of the issues in writing, which is more than any other candidate. This goes to show his commitment while others do not want to put it in writing.
Obama has worked with conservatives, Dr. Colburn from Oklahoma for example.

IF anyone likes to say well she was the spouse of the president, this is where I like to qoute Tracy Morgan from SNL. If that meant anything, that would me Robin Givens Would have been the Heavy Weight Champion of the World.

Is the news being easy on Hillary Clinton?

When I heard about the Bullets over Bosnia thing, I was shocked at the boldness of such a lie. What I was shocked about was who called it out. SINBAD. We have all these Million Dollar news outlets, and it took a comedian to fact check the story.

I'm not bashing sinbad, I am saying he is one man. Who wasn't getting paid to verify the accuracy of presidential candidate statements. I mean Barack has been combed over, everyone he kows is being checked on everything they have done their entire lives.

What is being checked on about Hillary. I believe nothing. If she was able to make a whopper like recieiveing gunfire on a plane go over, what else has gone over that no one has picked up on?

I thnk it's time that Hillary be combed over, and everyone she knows get's combed over.They will say well a lot of discovery happen while bill was in office. To that I say, that was bill. Not hillary.

I think the News Outlets need to be fair at least, and do some fact checking. If one man found something that big out of place, a million dollar news agency should be able to find something.

Maybe it's me, but a mistake like that can cause severe damage to the United States. Saying a mistake like that as President could cause a war. I understand she recanted that statement but all the same as President that could have had severe consequences.

Am I alone in thinking this? You can't claim you were underfire when you werent. Not to mention it's making me want verification on everything she claims she has had experience in. I know she's on a lot of committees, but has she really done anything on those committees?

Do we want a President who can't remember if they were shot at or not?

I know Barack Obama likes to stay to the issues, but making a mistake on something that would be an International Incident, is something you want a president not to get wrong.

Taken from the Saturday Night Live commentary of Tracy Morgan, he stated that he believed that you cannot gain experience at a job for being someones spouse. He said if that was so that would make Robyn Givens the Heavy Weight Champion of the World.

Also giving it some thought, and looking at this, if you count all the offices that Barack Obama was elected to, and the time he spent in both State and Federal Government, hasn't he had more time and experience as an elected offical than Hillary Clinton? If someone could fact check this for me I would really appreciate it. The count I have is 7 years state + 3.5 in the Senate for Barack. Where Hillary only has 7.5 in the federal.

This gives Barack Obama more time and experience as an elected officia, right? So he could honestly say he has more experience, because he does. At least in my mind.

I'm also starting to question a whole lot of things about Hillary since she had a flashback from a War she never was in. How many times has she been in a plane being shot at, that she could get one wrong?

That's a name of a speech I gave this weekend in a speech contest for Toastmaster. It won for my District. It is my personal tale about how and why you should always do your best. I think it's time that the Barack Obama Supports put their best foot forward. It's time for us to make the effort to talk about the issues. To show America why a Barack Obama Presidency is what is best for America.

It is time for us to shine, be inspirational, and lead. Not by force, but by leadership. We need to help clean up America, we need to help get rid of crime, corruption and conspiracy. We need to be the community leader, supporter, builder. In order for any President to be successfull, it will always come down to the citizen. That's you and me. We will determine the Success of Barack Obama.

I need you to understand, I don't need to meet you, I don't need you to call me nor do I want an autograph. What I need you to do for me is keep your word. I need you to clean up the government we have. Get rid of the lobbyist that buy our government, bring our boys home, protect our jobs here at home. I want you take the 12 billion dollars a month going to IRAQ and use it either here in the United States or to pay off the enormous debt that the last administration has built up.

This run off election is going on forever. And while this campaign on the primaries side is going on, it's time Barack Obama start taking the role of President. You need to be out there meeting with dignataries, you need to start commenting on what you would do as president on the day to day announcements of what is going on.

We need to hear the motiviating speeches, the uniting of different worlds. It is time to stick your head up high and do what you were born to do. Not only are you to make history, you are defining the future of America.

It is time now to get the people together that will be your cabinet, that will advise you correctly, honesty, and with candor.

Hard Times for Hillary Clinton

Hard Times for Hillary Clinton was the name of the Article in Time Magazine on March 21st, 1994. It had her picture on the cover. I have it on my site, amadeusmax.com. This flashback to 14 years ago when the drama of the Clinton Adminstration was in full effect, as the Lewinski Scandal was breaking out.

The other headlines from that Day was that Us had agreed to restart talks with North Korea.

North Korea Failed, Hillary health plan failed, and the Clinton administration put the presidency into one of the most embarassing positions in modern times. And, for no reason I could understand, Hillary stood by her man.

I'm sorry but if I emabarrased my wife nationally, the only way my wife would stand by me would be to collect life insurance. But it goes to show what motivates Hillary Clinton.

I don't want a president that knows how to handle a scandal. She's proven she can do that. What I need is a president that isn't afraid to make the right decesion. The kind of president that will avoid scandals all together.

Barack is Back and Black, can we get on with the election please?

I don't know if it was just me, but this whole racial bullshit was thrown way out there. I was asked by one of my friends, Nervie, if the people who visit my website, amadeusmax.com, thought this issue of race. It was ever a big deal. No we knew he was black. Most of us are not blind.

On the issue of the Words of a religious leader. I live in Tulsa OK. I live within a mile of Oral Roberts Campus. We have heard religious leaders say some crazy things before, in Oklahoma. Ones we didn't agree with.

Most people here feel the whole race issue and Reverend Wright media onslaught was driven by a particular group or special intrest somewhere. Most believe it was coming from either the republicans, or the hillary clinton camp.

But now that we have established that Barack is Black. And White. And he does not agree with 100% with his pastor (just like the rest of us), can we get on back to the issues of this election, saving this country from an economic meltdown, and getting boys back from Iraq? Can we get back to the ELECTION PLEASE!!!?

In my opinion, it's time to formally ask Hillary to step down.

Barack Obama has won this election, it has been long and worn out. All the clinton campaign is doing is tearing up the Democratic Party. I think we need to make a formal request for Hillary Clinton to step down. The only thing she is accomplishing is dividing the Democratic Party at this point.

I believe we need to make this request to the DNC. We need to make them be leaders and follow through with the decesions they made. They need to commit and follow through with rulings against Michigan and Florida. Any reversal on this would make it unfair not only to Barack, but to the other candidates like John Edwards.

I would direct this request to Nancy Pelosi and Howard Dean.

We need to build our presidential campaign now. The Democratic party should be United.

I have an Obama sign in the back of my car. I pulled up to a store one day, and an elderly black man asked me if I knew if Obama was black. And I said yes. I asked him did he know that Obama was the best choice for president based on where he stood on the issues. He said yes. He told me he just didn't think he would ever see this day in America.

Not only is barack the promise of a better future, but in my mind represents the promise of the past. We need to make sure that promise is made, we have the best candidate for the best reasons running. We want change, we must be it's voice.

I ask you to speak to every one you can, post your blog on every media internet outlet, drop it into as many conversations as possible. It is time to speak up and fight for your candidate, your issues, and your beliefs.

Hello from Oklahoma. I thought I would tell you know how I appreciate your efforts. To make great change takes great effort. While I believe that Barack is the captain, we are the sailors that set the sails for the winds of change. When we act together, we can win.

When your out canvasing and encouraging people to vote, I thought I would share some of my thoughts and the best way to encourage people.

Encourage people to vote. Start with this end with this. Even if it seems they may not vote the way we would like them to.
Be positive, even when being confronted by someone who doesn't want to believe your way. Go back to rule 1. Take a zen approach and say thank you.
Don't be argumentative.
Know the issues. Take the time, and read about how Barack stands on different things. In Oklahoma a big selling point here was that most people didn't know that Barack Obama worked with Tom Colburn on the Google for Government project.
Be prepared to be informative on what may seem absurd to you. Some people are not socialble, or have limited means in which they communicate with the world. Be prepared to explain Barack is not Muslim. Yes barack preacher was extreme. Barack pastor isn't running for president. You can have people in your life you care about but not agree with. Ask any parent with teenagers. Ask any teenager with parents.
Be brief. Unless encouraged in a positve way, but still keep it short. People remember better this way. It's keep it short or repeat your self like a broken record. When you repeat it'self it becomes annoying.
Be courteous
Be Respecfull.
Always close with thank you.
Go back to rule 1 and encourage people to vote. IT says a lot about a candidate who is willing to accept your vote, your participation. And it may be the only part that encourages them to vote for Barack.

On last note, create local based websites, that encourage barack, discussing the issues. Get people to go to the Barack website, your website, but create intrest with them looking up on their own. The less hokey the better. I have even done this with my own website, to the bain of my republican friends. (some of which I have converted).

Pastors and people we care about.

What we are seeing now is a smokescreen. When I applied for my job, I got the job. My pastor beliefs, what my pastor said, what church I went to, never came up.

The campaign is losing focus on the issues. For a very good reason, because it's a distraction from the issues, the people involved. We need to focus this election back on to the people running in this election. What we need to be disucssing is what they did while on the job, what they are going to do for us as president.

I hate to admit it, but the last couple of hits on this campaign have been successfull. They have us looking at people not in this campaign.

One one last note, my grandfather is a racist. He's white.I don't believe the same way he does. He was a baptist preacher. I still love him. I pray that he changes. But even though he's a racist, and I love him, I am still voting for Barack Obama. Because even though I have people in my life that I care about, doesn't mean I agree with them.

You can have people in your life that you care about, that you don't agree with. You can love them, and not agree. Ask any parent with teenagers. Ask any teenager with parents.

Who's next, Barack's postman?

Maybe its me, but it's like the media now is trying to find fault in anything around Barack Obama. They can't find anything wrong with him, so they attack and research all the people around him, and then hold their actions or viewpoints, like it was Baracks Responsibility.

Where does this stop? Are they going to hold Barack Responsible for his Postman getting the wrong mail to the wrong address? Are they going to hold him accountable to what his third grade teacher voted for in a presidential election during the 60's?

What's my point? My point is it seems the media has turned into National Enquirer, and because it can't find anything on Barack.

Looking for that Hollywood Perspective

Hello to those in Hollywood.

I run a website, amadeusmax.com. It's personal and non commerical. I have been writing my various rants and opinions in support of the Barack Obama Campaign. But this campaign isn't about me or Barack, it's about all of us.

So it occured to me to seek others to write their story. So I thought it would be interesting to the people that visit my site to get a perspective from Hollywood or a person living there. While I think it would be great if it was from someone famous, I think it would have more of an impact if it wasn't someone well known. Your "I go to work and I care about this country too" person.

What I would like to see in a story is who you are, why you support Barack Obama, and what you have done to support him. Did you go to any events, fundraiser that kind of thing. Things you liked at the begging, things you like now. Do you let people know who you support?

I wish Barack Would Annouce a Vice President candidate

I think it would help out his campaign now. At least announce he has narrowed his search down to a top 3. This would prove to everyone that he is thinking about the future always. Now I would love the idea if would state publicly the VP wouldn't be Hillary Clinton, but I don't think that will happen.

But if would announce that he has narrowed his field down, it would give him the appearance and solidify that he is ready on day one.

Why does the Democratic Party allow Hillary tear up the party?

Hillary Clinton is tearing up the party. IS being the ugliest candidate what the democratic party want? Are there no standards in which the party will cause all of it's members to adhere to?

It seems that Hillary Clinton would sell out the DNC if it meant a presidental nomination. I have a problem with that. She's allowed to break all the rules and get away with it.

IF barack obama is not the nominee I will vote for McCain. Hillary and McCain are basically two sides of the same coin. They are buddies, they vot the same way and they worked together a lot. So why vote for hillary, when You can vote for someone who was in the military and has the more experience.

I absolutely refuse to vote for Hillary clinton.

It's 3am in the Morning and the Phone Rings

Hillary Clinton answers and breaks down in Tears because the pressure is too much to handle, and then makes the wrong decesion that kills more people than the Iraq War.

Thats her experience and her performance.

Barack Obama answers and keeps a cool head, makes the correct decesion and the world doesn't even know a catastrophe has been averted.
