My issues with polling

So for the past three days, I have been in the reddest county in a red state: Douglas County, Colorado. Not a single precinct went for Kerry in 2004. But it is very much moving for Obama. And I am almost certain that none of this is being reflected in polling data.

Davie Day was a smash success

Davie Day was a smash success here in Vancouver! We raised a ton of money, and registered around 100 people to vote today, including several in such key states as Colorado and Montana.

Highs and lows

Today was a day of highs and lows. I'm not sure I quite get the Obama campaign's response in Bismarck to me. Maybe it was just the one volunteer I spoke with. I basically got shot down from volunteering.

On the other hand, I've now scheduled my first volunteer stop!

My voyage is truly starting

Hey there.

For those of you who may not know, but I have decided to embark on a voyage to canvass, campaign, and register voters across the west in such key states as Washington, Montana, North Dakota, Colorado, and Nevada.

Well, today I got myself a departure date. 12 September, so that I can make it to the Spokane County Fare. Now I just have to raise $500 dollars or a lot of bus fares, fast. Any ideas about how to get started?
