Saturday June 21st we went to a picnic to bring together former Hillary supporters and Obama supporters. it was fantastic. Over 300 supporters
there was an Asians for Obama group represented as well as a group from the Youth for Obama.
Doug Gentzler, state attorney general, made a great speech and introduced many other political figures. The governor, O'Malley was suppose to show up but got "stuck in traffic". He was a Hillary supporter and I think still is. I want be voting for him next time.
There was a guy there with a Hillary t shirt on and carrying 2 Obama banners. Hope to download that picture at a later date. One thing I love about these events, is it shows that the media is so way off. 90% of supporters were older white voters. "young woman" sitting across from me was 82.
Everyone was excited and ready to do what we have to do to put Obama in office in November.

Drew and I canvassed in Fayetteville, NC this weekend.
Most voters were pro Obama-Yeh. A couple of undecideds. And a couple of no's(but i don't think they were going to vote anyway)
The most interesting part of the weekend was running into 3 Hillary supporters that were out canvassing as well. They were actually very nice and we tried to steer clear of some of the more hot button issues. Rich was a civil rights attorney that stated he owed the clintons a lot for what they had done for him in the past. He really did not seem to be that committed to Hillary personally.
Annie was canvassing with her husband for Hillary, but stated her son was an Obama supporter. Drew even spoke to the son on the phone telling him to Ba rock on and convince his mother to join the O train.
North Carolina, because of the smear campaign by HRC and the push polls, will be a closer race I think than the polls may say. But I have faith in Barack Obama and the American voters'
