With a huge university and college base in the Obama camp, this site NEEDS to start taking PayPal donations!!!!!
It would send revues through the roof! There are many, many students who do use PayPal but do not have credit cards.
PLEASE... set up a donation site through PayPal. Once done, FaceBook the donation page.
Here's the Wiki on the guy who wrote the speech Palin used to say how she is a "Washington outside."
Matthew Scully (born March 30, 1959, in Casper, Wyoming) is an American author, journalist, and speechwriter. He worked as a speechwriter in the 2000 presidential campaign, and served as a special assistant and senior speechwriter for President George W. Bush from January 2001 to August 2004. He has also written for vice-presidents Dan Quayle and Dick Cheney, the late Governor Robert P. Casey of Pennsylvania, and vice presidential nominee Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska.
Many people know that Bush did nothing constructive while Katrina devestated the coast on Aug. 29, 2005.
Now, despite whatever McCain does to look "on top of" the new crisis with Gustav, it should be remembered that on that day three years ago, while Katrina decimated New Orleans, Bush was with John McCain in sunny Pheonix, Arizona. While people in the dome were dehydrated and starving, Bush was cutting McCain's BIRTHDAY cake.
Follow this link to the White House photo gallery for great pics of how McCain handled the last great hurricane. http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2005/08/images/20050829-5_p082905pm-0125-515h.html
McCain killed his chances when he ran against Bush because he lost it on the media. The man has a temper.
I think Obama fans should spend the next 60 days seeing if they can't spark that kind of response from him again. Find out what ticked him off before, and show the world just ow stable McCain is under pressure.
While many are going at McCain for being the rich elitist he is, I believe there is another side of this story that should be emphasized: The fact that, when asked, he did not know how many houses he owned!

I mean... come on! Do we want to give the White House to a guy who can't keep track of the houses he has already?
My question to McCain: You say you are not Bush's third term. So, how many of the current (Republican) White House staffers and advisors do you intend to keep on if you win the White House?
If he answers "None", he is alienating some pretty powerful republicans.
If he says "all of them", "some of them" or "we shall see" you can then show that he really does want the Bush White House to continue.
Frankly, I would rather the rumors of McCain being romantically linked to a lobbyist were true, but unfortunately I do not think they are. It would be better for the country to have McCain fooling around with a lobbyist then NOT fooling around with a lobbyist.
