I still can’t believe it!! No matter how many times I or someone else says it; I am still in blissful shock. What we had hoped for…dreamed for…wished for has come true!! BARACK OBAMA IS THE PRESIDENT OF THESE UNITED STATES!!!!!! History has been made in so many ways. He is the first African-American president, he is the first biracial president, he is the first.... I could go on and on!!! Obama has forever shattered barriers that had once been perceived impossible. He has renewed hope in the hopeless. He has brought HOPE back to our country and the world. His victory proved to the world that the U.S. is still that beacon of hope! When I woke up this morning I had to convince myself that what I saw last night was not some wonderful dream! I have always been patriotic and proud to be an American BUT today I AM EXCEPTIONALLY PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!!!!!!!!
Quite a few people are saying that the youth and first-time voter group is unreliable. I could not disagree more. I believe that we are more than capable of showing up to vote on election day. As a group, we have been strong in our support of Obama and we will not stop now. So let’s go and prove those doubters wrong!!
