It is now being reported in the press that President-Elect Obama is "managing expectations". In other words, he is attempting to make people lower their expectations - based on his campaign promises - in order not to be too disappointed by what he can actually do.
Well, my group has SOLUTIONS which, if applied, will enable him to embrace HIGH expectations and perform BEYOND those expectations.

New York City, June 19, 2008 (9-08 MSD): Now that the primary is won, it's time to fund the general election. We know it will take large sums of money to get the Democratic message out and neutralize the smears. (Smears? Sure, because, unfortunately, America is still a work-in-progress in several key areas.)
As expected, Senator Obama has today formally opted out of federal funding. We, his supporters, must step up to the plate and do what's necessary to fund a winning campaign. Talk is cheap, fellow supporters; we need to act decisively. But first, we need to commit.
I suggest the Obama Finance Chair open a commitment page so that we can commit to a certain amount and state how much we will send in monthly in order to complete the donation by, say, September 15.
I also suggest that the 1,500,000 of us who, have already donated to this campaign, commit to donate between $100 and $200 more. We should then make an allowance to cover those who can simply not make such a commitment. So, if you can, you should commit to, say, $300 or $350.
We know we can count on the Obama campaign to spend the money wisely.
I am personally committing to $200 more, by the end of July.

New York City, June 09, 2008 AD (9-08 MSD): A post at the Obama Campaign blog on June 8, 2008 was about the article written in The Huffington Post by Mr. Frank Schaeffer, a best-selling author and a life-long and respected Republican. He worked for Senator McCain in 2000. He states in the article that he is going to vote for Senator Obama in November and that there are very many more Republicans just like him. He mentions that Senator Obama is the most popular American leader now, perhaps the most popular ever, in terms of the whole world.
Mr. Schaeffer's proposed action is a sign of a greater tomorrow for America and the world. Senator Obama is healing and uniting America as no one else can. His emergence is the fulfillment of prophecy. I've said it before, and I say it again: Democrats will sweep into office by a landslide in November. Senator McCain will be lucky to win 2 states.We still have lots of work to do. We need to donate and volunteer. We need to keep up the country-wide voter registration effort. We need to be diligent and keep our emotions in line with the across-the-board healing and unity that are going on, led by Senator Obama.Most "pundits" and "political analysts" are wrong in their analyses and forecasts because they don't understand Senator Obama's mission.We do. Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2008 (9-08 MSD):
Some are concerned that Senator McCain is leading Senator Obama in some polls. Well, polls in May count for nothing. The general elections are an eternity away. Let's see what the same polls say in August, September, and October.
Remember that 6 months ago, Senator Clinton was leading Senator Obama by 70 and 65 points to 25 and 30 points all across the country. Remember also that Mayor Giuliani was the Republican front-runner and polls showed him beating Clinton in a two-way match-up. Six months later, both front-runners are history. So much for polls. It's astonishing that Senator Clinton (unfortunately) raises the race-fear specter against Senator Obama and then happily announces that he can't win. Question is: What kind of country do we want? Confrontation and destruction? Or cooperation, hope, and friendly solution of our common problems? After the Clinton campaign shuts down in early June (as it must), Senator Obama's decency will shine through, and America will cheer.

The Democratic National Committee set the rules at the beginning of the presidential primary season. All presidential hopefuls signed on and geared their campaigns accordingly. Now, more that 15 months later, the losing candidate is seeking to change the rules. No way!
We know that politics is a dirty game, but even a dirty game has to have limits on the load of dirt. Senator Obama must INSIST on the rules. That's integrity, and that's the only way to play the New Politics that he and we, his supporters, represent. Nothing else will do. We must be 100% prepared to sacrifice, on the sacred Altar of Principles, any crooked, game-playing tricks by the Democratic Party. Senator Obama and all down-ticket Democrats will win by a landslide in November, by showing unshakeable integrity to the American people. He must show that this is a NEW day in American politics!
The following 2 items must therefore be the parameters that guarantee principled integrity:
1. Florida and Michigan delegations will be seated at the Convention in Denver but, since they KNOWINGLY broke the rules, their illegal behavior must NOT be allowed to impact the results delivered by those who obeyed the rules. Their delegate votes must be split in accordance with the OVERALL POPULAR VOTE earned in the law-abiding States by the remaining andidates. A 50/50 split is NOT acceptable. Any other arrangement is "dirty old politics" and must be resolutely rejected. We will not hesitate to take to the streets to make this point, if necessary.
2. It will be a sign of "unpresidential" weakness for Senator Obama to accept any less than a proportionate split of delegates. The country at large will support him. Senator Obama must show "presidential" strength, not weakness, in this instance of doing what is right. The Fairness Streak in the American people will applaud and respect him. Any less on his part is pandering to crooked politicians. It will also be a kow-towing to the discredited, old politics of promising one thing and doing another.
In conclusion, THIS IS SERIOUS: Senator Clinton's campaign and supporters, having lost the primary by all lawful parameters, are now remorselessly and boldly expecting only a "Natural Disaster" to give her the nomination. In plain language, they are hoping that something bad happens to Senator Obama - perish the thought! Well, what you sow is what you reap. So, why will she be immune to a "Natural Disaster", if that is what she's wishing on another? We already saw the "physical prophecy" in the unexpected death, on the racetrack at the Kentucky Derby, of her surrogate filly. To make the inescapable analogy even more significant, Ms. Chelsea Clinton, appropriately dressed, was on hand to claim victory, in case it happened. A word to the wise!
New York City, May 6, 9-08 MSD (2008 AD). There is an unmistakable message in the tragic death of the filly, Eight Belles, on Saturday, May 4, at the Kentucky Derby.
Senator Hillary Clinton had spectacularly invited the world to "keep an eye on the filly!" Senator Clinton's bold invitation lent special meaning and significance to a race in which a colt, named Big Brown, was the favorite and the filly was the only female running against an otherwise all-male field. The drama was heightened even more by the fact that Ms. Chelsea Clinton, Senator Clinton's daughter and only child, was in attendance, appropriately dressed and presumably ready to make the most of the situation, should the tenacious filly upset the male favorite.
Well, we all know that the colt won - as expected - and the filly lost spectacularly. But the filly's loss was more than a routine loss at the races. The filly's loss was magnified, many times over, by the tragic and unexpected death of that unfortunate female horse athlete.
And therein lies the great significance and 2 items of clear symbolism:

Let us recognize that the "Special Interests" that Senator Obama is working to weaken in Washington is fighting ferociously back. They control the media and will do all they can to manipulate the news against Senator Obama. Do not expect that to change. Right now, the Special Interests' media are working to crucify Senator Obama for what somebody else (Rev. Wright) said. He disavowed the statements, but the MSM choose to disbelieve the Senator and believe the "divisive pastor". That's manipulation.

That (forced) opportunity to make this mini "More Perfect Union II" is why I welcomed Rev. Wright's re-emergence in my post yesterday. There now needs to be a "More Perfect Union III" on "White Anger" and "White Resentment" over Affirmative Action, and to relieve "White Fear of Black Retaliation over Slavery". Senator Obama should courageously and sensitively address these issues soon, preferably before the primary season is over.Note, however, that the "Special Interests" will not surrender without drawing more blood. Judge Munoz, sitting in Los Angeles on April 25, 2008, has blocked the Clinton electoral fraud trial till AFTER the general elections. The honorable judge may be playing his own political games. But the Clinton electoral fraud story has robust legs of its own.
We need to get the word out to super-delegates before it's too late. If she's the nominee (perish the thought), the Republicans will rejoice and win in November and ensure she gets fully prosecuted. If she happens to win the presidency (most unlikely), the Republicans will, because of her high negatives, win enough votes in Congress to impeach another Clinton and convict this time. This will devastate the Democratic Party - again.
We must save this lady and the Democratic Party now. Let's get the story out now, especially to the super-delegates. The lawsuit does not have to go to trial for this fascinating story to be critically important.

THIS IS BIG: The primary will be over tomorrow if the super-delegates saw this video today. It will end Senator Clinton's political career, with no chance or revival. If she were to become the nominee, all the Republicans will have do for November is run this video everyday for a week and she will lose EVERY State, including NY. The video records her breaking campaign law, which is a felony and where the penalty is 5 years in jail. Dr. Wright's unexpected re-emergence into the public arena has been hailed by many as detrimental to Senator Obama. Not so.
The old video loops on cable networks compelled Senator Obama to give the "More Perfect Union" speech in Philadelphia. That amazing speech has entered the history books as one of the most important political speeches ever. Senator Obana needed the practice, and he needed to make history in more ways than one.
Dr. Wright's re-emergence will end up helping the campaign because it will show the pastor to be a full, multi-faceted human being like his detractors. All of that will help Senator Obama for being principled and strong enough to resist suggestions that he abandon his church.It may also lead to a "More Perfect Union II", a speech that many agree he will have to make soon.
Senator Obama will win the presidency by a landslide. The reason is that the 50-State registration drive is going to change the red State/blue State electoral map paradigm. Some analysts are already beginning to see this. So will the super-delegates (who will therefore make Senator Obama the nominee). Senator McCain will be lucky to win 2 States in November.
The countrywide registration drive is a great example of the forward-looking genius of Senator Obama's campaign. I applaud the professional staff and the amazing volunteers that make it all possible.
The cost of such a voter registration effort can only be funded by a well-financed campaign like this one. Other campaigns will talk about it, but they have NO money to do what is necessary. Also, the enthusiasm of this movement has never been duplicated anywhere else in a political campaign. Thanks, volunteers; you are the GREATEST!
