On the first day of early voting for the March 4 Texas Primary, 1000 students at Prairie View A&M University marched 7.3 miles from the school's Student Center to the Waller County courthouse in Hempstead -- the closest early voting location to the campus.
I'm going to a WI/HI watch party, so I made some festive cookies!
They came out pretty well, I think. They sure taste good-- sugar cookies with a hint of lemon. :)

Looking at the primary results after Super Tuesday, it appears that despite Hillary's big-state wins, Barack has 476 pledged delegates to her 496. So close! I am more excited than ever.
When it comes to the superdelegates, however, he's down 87. This is not so huge considering that so many have yet to pledge their support; here in Washington State, out of 17, five have endorsedClinton, and two have endorsed Obama.
I plan to write them and talk up Sen. Obama, his campaign, and his supporters (without mentioning Sen. Clinton explicitly).
