Senator Obama and Senator Biden,
I find that the campaign has forgotten who they are running against. The mission has not changed, just the players. It is still our goal to defeat the Republican agenda, no matter who is pushing it. Let us not be distracted by the disaster that is Sarah Palin. John McCain is still not talking about anything that matters to anyone who makes less than $5M annually. Who cares what's true or untrue about Sarah Palin, unless or until she decides to speak, you're fighting a ghost. The Bush administration is one of unprecedented incompetence and it should be pointed out at every turn. The Republican ticket is offering nothing different than Bush has offered for the past 8 years. John McCain is against equal pay for women, he wants to oveturn Roe v. Wade, he does not support the G.I. Bill. John McCain does not have anything to say about Iraq except the surge worked, he doesn't speak of Afghanistan at all. The Obama campaign has to stay on message. The addition to the Republican ticket is of little consequence because the message has not changed, not matter how they try to spin it. There is nothing original about it, we've heard it all before, let's expose it for what it is.
We are the agents of change, let's not forget that.
Peace,
Val
We are LIVING HISTORY, not only American History, but World History.
This is the most incredible feeling, I've ever felt.
Question:
Now that you know IT'S POSSIBLE, what will you do tomorrow?
Congratultions to each and every one of you that made this happen, you are amazing!
Hey Kids,
Our man did not make strong showing at the bowling lanes, but that's ok. Come join me at my event "Bowling for Barack" in PA. Go to "Events" on this site to sign up, do not donate at site. Together, we'll show Barack that we can carry his handicap and still win. It will be symbolic of us all rallying around him to erase the deficeit in the polls vs. Hillary. I will be contacting local media to try to get coverage and hope they play it as much as they have played his "37 point" fun fest.
Barack the Vote in PA! O-BA-MA! O-BA-MA! O-BA-MA! YES WE CAN! YES WE CAN! YES WE CAN!
GOT HOPE?
Have the Clintons lost their collective minds? Who the hell do they think they are? It is absolutely incredible that these people have actually begun to believe their own bullshit. They are somehow convinced that they deserve to be announced the winner of this contest, even if they do not win it. How self-serving does one have to be to believe that the honor of occupying the white house is a privilege reserved for the self-appointed few. And what level of narcissism is in play when the "exact" same family reverses roles so that they may be so honored twice in one lifetime.
It is abundantly clear that the Clintons are desperate. I only hope this latest ploy backfires, and Hillary loses supporters because they feel that if she thinks he's such a good guy that she would put him on her ticket, then maybe they're in the wrong camp. They certainly have not heard Barack suggest that he would make the same offer. This should tell people something about the appeal of this man. Just recently this "witch" was calling Barack shameful, naive, weak, inexperienced, and anything else the "kitchen sink" would hold. She wins 3 contests out of the last 15 and suddenly she's in the driver's seat? The message coming from the Clinton camp is laughable. Hello, people, our man is leading in popular vote, states, pledged delegates. I wonder which one of those geniuses on the payroll came up with this crap, "Billy Boy"? Who although he may be a loose cannon, is a very smart man, he knows Hillary cannot win without Barack. He also knows Obama will not put her on his ticket. Oh, the joy of poetic justice.
I've said it once and I'll say it again, this "dream" turned into a nightmare the moment she injected it with her vicious venom. It is now time for her to extracted from the process. All the mumbo, jumbo about big states does not move me in the least. All states matter, and the fact that there are twice as many democrats than republicans showing up at the polls is very telling. Obama will certainly take all the states that Hillary took in the primaries, but more importantly he is poised to take the states that generally go to republicans. This election year will not only be historical because of the parties involved, but the whole landscape of blue vs. red states will become a thing of the past. His landslide win will be equally historical. And this my friends is what it is all about. This thing is bigger than any of the candidates in contention.
Just as I am getting past my bewilderment over the results in Ohio and Texas, I am restored by the results in Wyoming. Then, another attempt to rob me of my peace is injected into my day. Republican Congressman Steve King of Iowa declares "Terrorists will be dancing in the streets, if Barack Hussein Obama is elected President of the UNITED States of America". That's right, according to Steve King our next president will be perceived as an ally of terrorists around the world. Is there still anyone out there who has difficulty with the notion that a black woman may not be especially proud of our "great" nation?. Is this the type of vile, venomous spew we have come to accept as "freedom of speech"?
