The road to the presidency runs right through Iowa, and the best way you can help Barack Obama win the election is to help in the Iowa Caucuses!
You can help Barack Obama win the Iowa Caucuses and the election without leaving your home. We want you to help Barack Obama by calling and emailing your friends and family members in Iowa to tell them why you are supporting Senator Obama and how they can support him in the Iowa Caucuses. The program is simple. If you have friends or family in Iowa, click here - Link We will then work with you to reach out to your friends and family in Iowa. Even if you don’t have friends in Iowa, please forward this to people you know because they might have friends and family in Iowa.
Also, due to the fact that Indiana is not too far from Iowa, I am planning to organize a couple trip to this early state and I am trying to asses interest across the state through this group. If you have any interest at all please join and look for updates. Feel free to contact me with any thoughts or concerns. Indiana's primary may be in May, but this is one way we can have a real impact on the nomination process.
-Check to make sure that a chapter doesn’t already exist by clicking on your state and looking at the list of schools that pops up (if a chapter exists please contact the chapter coordinator)
-Click Start a Chapter
-Fill out the electronic form and submit it (you should hear from someone in 5 days, if not please email Mary Hodge( you can receive her address by contacting me)
-You will receive a response shortly with a registration form and the name of your state coordinator
-Fill out the registration forms completely and return it to your state coordinator
-You will be contacted to notify you of your chapters’ approval. You will receive a chapter manual which contains everything you need to know to get started.
Anyone who is a member of the Indiana University SFBO group is encouraged to leave this group and join the group with the same name with the addition (Official Chapter). You can find this group in my list of groups. This is important since this group is listed on the students potion of barackobama.com and is now the official group. SOrry for any confusion or hassle. This was done by national leadership, not me.
Also, if you are not a member of the group, I still encourage you to join the new group. If you attend Indiana University and would like to become involved with SFBO please join this group and message Tim G or myself.
