Attention everyone, this is an urgent request for financial assistance for our participation in the 3rd annual, GLBT event "Come Out With Pride", to be held at Lake Eola, on October 14th, 2007. We need to raise between $325-$435 for our booth space and parade participation (depending on walking in the parade vs. motorized vehicle in the parade) ASAP. Any and all donations will be accepted and VERY appreciated. Orlando 4 Obama in conjunction with Florida GLBT's for Obama are working together on this event. Here is my best explanation as to why I support Barack Obama for the 2008 presidential campaign:
I often watch the Dr Phil show, and I see his guests come on with their problems and conflicts. I see Dr Phil just sit back and listen to the people on his show, they are ranting and raving about the problems that face their lives. I wonder "what will Dr Phil say about this one". Then after his guests are done with their stories, Dr Phil just "opens his mouth" and states the very obvious and clear resolutions to their issues. What seems so complicated to the guests as well as many of us watching, has a simple and clear plan of action to resolve it to Dr Phil.
As I have seen Barack Obama in his speeches and talks, this man does the same thing with the issues that face this country as Dr Phil does with his guests.
When the debates begin for the presidential primaries and the following election begins, I believe you will see exactly what I am talking about. Barack will state the very clear and obvious solutions to the political issues of our times. He will just "open his mouth".
I believe that Barack Obama is EXACTLY what this country needs and has to have, to get back on track, and be respected and believed again, in the world today.
