Most recently I've noticed it is hard to decide who is doing the most Political Campaigning, The Church or The Politicians. Every place I turn, I see millions of dollars being poured out to advertise the position of various Churches, especially the LDS and Catholic. No longer can they be looked upon as a Church, but as a Political Party. Looking back in history, England, France, Germany and many other Countries, this is exactly what happened to those people who came under the rule of 'one certain' Religion.
The most recent battle is Proposition 8 in California, regarding same sex marriage and another major campaign of the Christian movement for control and demanding respect for the beliefs of these certain individuals. The list of Church (Religious) battles put on our Society as a whole is endless. Issues from Abortion to Zoning Laws, with each issue being pushed and argued through that all mighty Book of Many Books, the Bible. Unfortunate for the Church, they have forgotten the foundation that even allows them to practice as they wish, organize and assemble as they wish and to avoid payment of taxes on property or income. They have forgotten that we have a far greater power in this Country, a series of papers that are the very Fabric and Foundation of this Country. They are the words which give them the grace to exist as a Body, to thrive and practice within their own beliefs and interpret the Bible according to their own understanding. What I am speaking of is the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Without this, they would be under the rule and order of whomever was the most powerful.
The first thing that we all need to keep in the forefront here is the Constitution. This Document is the sole Document which allows any of the Churches to exist. Remember, this country was founded on the first principle of Freedom of Religion. Our Forefathers came here to escape the tyranny and oppression of the English Church. To escape the CONTROL MECHANISMS that Churches still exploit today. Not surprising that Freedom of Religion is the first on the list. The Puritans, Angelicas and Presbyterians all flocked to America, to escape the dominion of the Catholic Church.
Today, each person individually has a right to Freedom of Religion and a group of people have a right to Assemble and practice their Freedom of Religion collectively. Those rights however, do not Trump the US Constitution or the Bill of Rights. Since the Constitution provides the right, then each and every Religion within our USA must give this sole document first consideration. In not doing so, they abolish their very existence.
Now a lot of Christians are not going to like what I just said here, but it is a matter of fact. Religious freedom in this Country cannot exist without the US Constitution; therefore it takes precedence over any Leadership of a Church, the Bible, the Koran or any other writing that any of you hold in your hand. Not a single one of these books could exist in this Country without the US Constitution. Unlike the Bible, our forefathers were smart enough to establish a system and method of interpretation, so no single man or select group of people can juggle the words around to fit their own purposes. They defined a process in which to follow in order to make these interpretations and allowed the people as a whole to select those who would debate and decide a final meaning.
Today, especially the LDS and Catholic Church, want to be selective as to what parts of the US Constitution should apply and what parts do not. This is simply because they want to CONTROL as many people as possible and place them all in their little niche. These people have lost their path and respect for their own Bible and the very Document that placed them here in the first place. I look at the Far Right and wonder if they will ever understand their own treason.
While I have never been an advocate for the growing, consumption or use of the drug more commonly known as Marijuana, I am an advocate for the more common variety known as Hemp. Hemp is part of the Cannabis Family, and is primarily what is called the Fiber Chemotype. In order to distinguish the three Chemotypes, you need to understand how the levels of THC and CBD are broken down. While THC gives the psychoactive portion of the plant (the high), CBD is found to be the portion that gives the anti-inflammatory effect, thus the relief of muscle strain, joint pain and cramps reported in medicinal uses.
It is amazing how many people don't understand what socialism really is, but let's utilize John McCain's Spin and maybe make some sense of it. I doubt that even 1/3 of the voters have a clue of what Socialism really is an obvious that the GOP does not. Facts are, we have now and have always had, a progressive tax system. Those with the most pay more in % tax, (theoretically) since they can live by better means. Nothing wrong with charging The Banker that makes a $1 million a year at a 40% tax rate, then cutting the rate of the janitor to 20% tax rate. That is what Obama means by 'redistributing the wealth'. Unfortunate for most people, they listen to the backwards explanations of Palin too much. Right now, The Banker .. after all his Bush/McCain tax breaks and write offs, pays only about 20% or less .. While The Janitor who mops his floors at the Bank is paying 30 - 42%.
Obama is not taking anything from the Janitor .. in fact ... he wants to flip it around and let the Fat Cat pay MORE and the 'Ordinary Joe' LESS. That is NOT SOCIALISM!
FACTS ARE: The original “Redistribution of Wealth Program” Republicans devised as the Earned Income Credit .. which is actually paid to people who have children and make under the level of middle class. They not only pay less taxes than the middle class, but the money from the middle class (which is why we pay so much higher % tax, since we are the greater majority) is REDISTRIBUTED to the less fortunate .... who sometimes don't make as much or little as $2000 a year. In some instances these checks are a windfall for the primarily unemployed and lower income families. The problem is, the GOP put this burden on the Middle Class, not on the Fat Cats, like Cindi McCain or any of John’s Rich Buddies. (Yes, let’s Freeze the Tax Rates he Screams)
THE SAME THE SAME THE SAME --- ONLY THE NUMBERS CHANGE AND THE BURDEN IS SHIFTED.NOW THAT IS NOT NEAR AS GOOD OR FAIR OF A SYSTEM AS OBAMA'S PLAN ... WHO WANTS TO TAKE THE BURDEN OFF THE MIDDLE CLASS AND PLACE IT ON THE FAT CATS. BOTH PLANS ARE FUNDAMENTALLY THE SAME, JUST THE NUMBERS AND THE PEOPLE PAYING WILL CHANGE. GUESS THE ‘GOP’ ARE A BUNCH OF SOCIALIST ALSO!!!!! LOL .. SINCE IT WAS THEIR (GOP) GREAT IDEA TO START WITH.
We are just the suckers who got to pay the bill!!Now do any of you GOP folks have any questions or do I need to do your Math for you? Do you want to keep paying the SAME RATE or HIGHER, so your money can then be given as an EARNED INCOME CREDIT to those less fortunate ... or PAY LESS and still have the EARNED INCOME CREDIT, but paid for by the Fat Cats. Either way! that is SOCIALISM according to McCain/Palin. It is an invention of the Republicans and it is the monkey on your backside.
While John McCain screams 'let's freeze the tax rates' MCCAIN WANTS TO FREEZE THEM, SINCE HE IS ALREADY STICKING IT TO THE MIDDLE CLASS ANYWAY.He said "we have them right where we want them", well that was not about the Obama Camp .. it was about YOU .. he has you just at the right tax rate and his buddies (FAT CATS) are making a fortune.
I hope the Obama Campaign will read this as well, since I used it several times to explain to the undecided and they got the program afterwards. Sometimes you have to do the Math for people. What Barack Obama needs to do, is sit down and draw it out on a board, because that is what it will take for people to understand. He should say more appropriate, "We are going to shift the burden of the Tax (Wealth) Redistribution and hand it to those who can actually afford to pay."
