As tired as I was last night, I made sure to stay up to watch a one-hour documentary about Barack Obama on MSNBC.
Now, I already knew I loved what he stood for, felt his message, agreed with his vision....and I'm Canadian! I can't imagine how proud you must all be living in the United States right now.
Unfortunately, the biography was on at 2:00 to 3:00 a.m. (Hillary's was 3:00 - 4:00) because it needs to be on PRIME TIME! I was so blown away by watching his accomplishments and resolve and determination chronologically that I couldn't sleep for an hour, I was so pumped.
It speaks to every criticism on any and every level. He has consistently resisted Corporate America in favor of those without a voice to include anyone who needed his help but his political rise is astounding and incredible. There's a reason why he often mentions his work in Chicago, he made GREAT STRIDES there and should be very proud of those accomplishments.
It is honest, riveting and inspiring. His message that he continues to carry affects me as a Canadian and applies to more than just support and CHANGE politically, but also PERSONALLY.
It is my sincere hope that this is re-aired on MSNBC and online. I have been looking on all the blogs and no one has made mention of it yet, but it was on so late.
And a little off topic but I have to say that the fact that Obama has been transparent and Clinton has withheld you from seeing her tax returns SPEAKS VOLUMES and she should be held to that. You don't wait until you're the nominee to do that, it undermines her credibility.
I just realized I know 5 people in Sherman, Houston, Dallas, Corpus Cove and Galveston and I'm going to call them and make sure they are doing their part via a donation and/or calling everyone they know!
It is so refreshing to read how positive you all are staying in contrast with those over at that strange Hillary4Me site where they come across as whining and complaining and the grammar and spelling is deplorable.
