Dear Editor:
I am an Obama supporter, but in the beginning, deep down, I wouldn't mind if McCain had won. This is because I was a resident of Arizona when he was in office. I laughed and enjoyed his attitude back in his days on the "Daily Show" with Jon Stewart. McCain seemed to be a pretty cool guy.
I became leery after he did a commencement speech at the opening of Jerry Falwell's university. The religious nut job who blamed 9/11 on America's sin. Despite this I still had hopes he would be a fine president if he managed to beat Obama.
After the Rep Convention, where he failed to do anything but bash Obama, I lost all hope in McCain. Palin's speech was a snide one, meant to divide and ridicule. Obama's acceptance speech was different, it gave me hope, and I realized there is only one man fit to lead, Barack Obama! Obama rings with the spirit of real leaders, Kennedy or King, but McCain and Palin are sadly just politicians.

Dear Obama

Dear Obama

My letter is because I am growing weary of watching videos of arrogant leaders sneering and jeering at us, the people. When I sleep I can see them on leather couches drinking bourbon and scotch toasting their financial achievements. Laughing at what they have gotten away with and what they will continue to get away with. They parade around as if violating our constitution was nothing, something they determined was necessary in a stressful time, so they will not be held accountable. Look into their eyes next time they are on the news. They really think that we cannot and will not do anything about this. I hope to change that look on their faces.
I urge Obama to pursue the prosecution of several members of the Administration, some senior members of Congress and certain talking heads in the press. Everyone of these people should be charged with lying to the American people and causing a war.
I remember the apologies, heartfelt, tearful and yet the war still goes on. They have all admitted we were duped, the wiretaps were unconstitutional, but nothing is happening! Prison sentences should be passed out, and The Death Penalty is even in order for a select few. These criminals need to start acting like criminals. They need to fear the arm of the law and the constitution they defecated on! Until that happens, until this nation proves no man, in no position can tread on her, then she is nothing. The world will see this, the people will see this and soon everything will crumble.
I humbly request you pursue this course of action or at least mention it in highly covered event, get the people stirring, get the news buzzing. You will find there is more support for this than you ever imagined.

Tejun on Obama

I support Barack because I have not seen a speaker like him since Bobby Kennedy. No! I am not old enough to have witnessed Bobby's stirring speeches but I am a product of a generation that gives me the ability to look up almost any statements ever uttered, since the inception of film. Due to an abundance of videos, recorded on the net, I can look any politician in the eye.<br>

This man, this speaker, this genuine soul, Barrack Obama has gained my total respect. He cares for poor people, he truly does, he strives to be something different than what it takes to succeed in the political facade set up to make us believe we have a choice. Hillary shows us this, she the icon of Democrats, the shining symbol that forgave our beloved Bill in his infidelity. <br>

She is so full of the same, the same being divisive politics acted out to create an illusion of a struggle. A Democrat full of vengeance ready to carry out the blood lust all fans of "The Democrats" yearn for. All for what? Nothing, a show carried out for us while the men who run this place make the real decisions. People lean towards Hillary because the show must go on and no one wishes to place Obama in power because he may just spoil the show for us. <br>

He may actually have the will to expose how truly powerless we really are. He may have the power to rip men of unchecked power from their perches. Obama may actually change things. The News is deciding that Obama cannot be president but soon enough a cry will rise from the land that no news anchor can deny it's call. Ancient power structures will fall and crumble before the cry and the powers that be will have to release their hold on the resources of this world, the people of this world and the minds of the world. <br>

This will happen because we know if any man on the planet shall do it, it will be Obama, he will not ignore the call to greatness so many others have denied so shamelessly. Obama will embrace this life mission and even to his own peril he will march in the valley of the shadow of death and tear down her looming mountains.... This is why I support Obama....
