Did you go to the Obama OKC Rally yesterday, Monday, 3-19-07? I hope so because it was awesome! Some of us from ObamaOk (on this site) were privileged enough to volunteer at the event and a few of us even had the honor to meet him! But his message was everything what I believe. Education: Pay the teachers MORE (let us not forget that the children are our future – hello), Health care: Every person in the USA will have health insurance by the time his first term is over – read again: EVERY PERSON WILL HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE BY THE END OF HIS FIRST PRESIDENTIAL TERM!!!. The War: It never should have started, we have lost our men and women, our men and women have been killed or wounded, we have lost standing in the world, IT WILL END IN 2008!!!
If you have not yet joined a group in your area to help get Obama the VOTE, I again urge you to join a group, there is strength in numbers, get out, do good.

I just read on the home BLOG that if you donate this week, some other community member will match your donation; or if you have donated in the past you can sign up to match someone else's contribution. If we all pledged to give $10.00 and to match $10.00 do you realize how much money would be in Obama's war chest?
Like many of us Americans I have usually been fairly apathetic about politial campaigns because the choice is more often than not "Who will do the least harm." Therefore,I have never, ever been involved in a political campaign and I have never, ever been really excited about a Presidential candidate. I will be 46 soon, do you think that age has something to do with it? I don't, I think that Obama appeals to all age groups and all races. I personally believe that so many people are fed up with the US Government and the lies – O! so many lies and Obama is such a wonderful breath of fresh air and we’re all trying to breathe. Thank you for your match and let’s promise to do everything within our power to get Obama the nomination.
