I am an advocate for military and veterans soldiers and families. This administration has dis-used and abuse them as self benefiting back drop props. The public needs to be made aware of how lousy the current and soldiers of other eras with families have been given horrible medicare care where many who paid for Tricare or Tricare Prime are now denied access to military bases such that a 90yr old surviving spouse was told she could no longer receive medical care at the Great Lakes Naval Base after going to the hospital for care for 50 yrs. Over the last six years this administration has not only conducted what is called an article 99 at military hospitals for dependent families members such that what was depicted in the movie's depiction of budgetary medical cuts at the VA has been taken place now in military hospitals where care extending beyond generalized care is denied or addictive pain meds are given as a substitute never informing the patient their condition can be treated but for these monetary budget cuts skimmed out of the budget to be illegally reassigned into the general war budget. Military famiies should never be forced to beg for services they have earned, to do so is a dishonorable insult to the service and they and their soldier has sacrificed for the security of their nation. Shame on this administration for not demanding an automatic cost of living adjustment for the military and veterans since food costs, health co-pays, glasses and dental care has been outstripping their pay such that there is no way to provide a mid year COLA if inflation rises as it did this year but COLA required to be voted on by Congress who needs no one to approved their own salary raises -didn't include inflationary costs that won't take affect until Jan 09 that for many will affect their taxes which I feel military retirement pay should be automatically federal and stae tax free due to the discrepancies in military, civilian and federal pay due to the way pay scales, raises, bonuses, and vacation pays etc are allotted. A young military family's pay should never be so low that they should ever have to use a Link or WIC Card a further indignity that could be resolved by assigning a Military logo on the card that combines the allocation of both programs without rubbing it in that their pay is so low they qualify for welfare assistance with the same issue applied for school lunch programs since many military families are proud and such slights are insulting and demoralizing-school lunches cards could be created at the ID desks where the child's pic-last 4 of sponsor, age, and strip is placed on the card that will be read by the machine with the logo of the branch of service providing pride in the child. I demand that at the end of every war and conflict all DOD Camp Dietrich data be released to the medical community or be accessible online through a physician's coded directory that will enable the medical community to immediately identify adverse reactions to the soldiers service in addittion to providing the option of storage of eggs or sperm at a bank in the advent of their exposure precludes them from having future children due to DNA damage that occurred with Agent Orange where many vets and wives' preganancies never made it to 2nd trimester which itself should be considered a disability since procreation resulting from Agent Orange exposure is as devastating a boot rot, but more so with each miscarriage on both the soldier and wife.

Personally, the Obama's have been very gracious allowing other small enterpeneura to make a living selling tee-shirts, buttons, etc. during the campaign. I chose to buy mine through this site. Sadly, because I love to collect historic campaign buttons, etc during my lifetime that represented my aspirations for my nation which I identified with at that moment in time. I am particular however to whom my disposable income that is very little goes. I would be so blessed to be able to purchase an official signed picture of President Obama taking his oath, sitting in the Oval Office Chair, and the family waving at the door step and within the Rose Garden formally and the girls playing with mom and dad or book containing such pictures one of the campaign and one of President Obama and the First family in the White House.

I can not, nor could I ever express the unreality reality of such an event. It's like a dream while one keeps asking themselves is this true, am I dreaming and when will I wake up. My heart is so full of joy even as I worry day to day how we will be able to get our disabled daughter a 4 yr scholarship to UWMadison and then medical school. We are older parents. Military retiree.

This is something you can do with completely interfering with legislation

This is a time to step up to the plate and demand action by the administration regarding the financial security of the nation.

There is a distinct difference between a fool's version of 'pure capitalism' once practiced in the British Isles, Scotland, and Europe where business and personal calamities werer settled by complete life altering total loss of assets resulting in every member of the family if necessary being assigned to a debtors prison until the debt was paid in full inclusive of interest and the cost of their upkeep in the debtors prison.

Thankfully, centuries later in America thanks to the labor/union movement many of those Dickensonian inhumane treatment of merchants, and workers was virtually eliminated by the bankruptcy, governmental, and social protections of today.

The problem lies with what faces our nation today is the continued unprecedented lies this administration has told so many times that like the boys who cried wolf to their advantage repeated its irrehensible actions when Sec. Paulson rushed out onto the White House lawn in the midst of a contentious presidential campaign to annouce the credit crisis. This action typifies how the Bushchen administration always used distration to conduct its illegality and treasonous or if polite impeachable actions always daring Congress to do that which it knew it would not! Thus America was beset as was the world with America's first renegade presidency with no checks and balances nor a functionable Justice Department, nor Supreme Court that had been tainted by politicism to effectively not only challenge their high crimes and misdemeanors bordering on Treason but to effectuate preventing them from carrying out the most heinous documentable acts that many citizens of vast nations recorded such actions, actions that it tricked Senators into a meeting in the room posing high level security clearances not to discuss desired strategy or policy but to read and then be told this is what has beeen done and you under law must be silent. This is treason when one acts contrary to our Constitution whereby the results are to create an autocratic regime with control over the Justice Dept, Treasury, SEC, Supreme Court, Congress, and America's media centers many of whom were scared into line with the intentional Anthrax scare of their buildings that surprisingly never was delivered to the likes of Microsoft, Ft. Knox, or NASA--hopefully you will understand the selective contained scope of the Anthrax exposures. I don't believe one letter ever waa sent to the White House though wss it? However much fanfare was made to protect against it, thus through distraction, as with the deliberate wordsmithing subliminal continual effective use of inferring the tie of Hussein to AlQaeda was imbeded as dogma in milions of Americans to this day though it was long ago debunked. But the desired effect was completed, thus the debunking was a means to tap the baseball mound to make it appear legal and a mere bungled mistake. Ratttlers don't make mistakes. They strike and destroy using their rattle to confuse their prey.

Now the Bushchen wants to dump you with the greatest financial fallout equal to that of a nuclear holocaust of a Neutron bomb where lives are destroyed but the property remains intact. PBS recorded South Africa's successful bomb experiments which it gave the technology to Israel in exchange in the waning days of the Botha regime from embargoed oil that also was caught on tape and included in the PBS documentary. Considering the Botha regime and its population being outnumbered in an uprising such a regime would endeavor to create such a bomb inclusive with the fundamentals of Nazi scientists who like the ones Americans kept had the ungodly arrogance to create such weapons of mass murder that would fulfill their desire of eradicating a massive insurrection without devastating plant life, water, and buildings.

Dear Sir, I beg you to make a public speech to the nation in a press conference now as a citizen calling upon a special Congressional extension of Congress who came back for special legislation for a comatose brain dead woman urged on by the presidents--that the lives of America's millions of workers, new homeless and upcoming homeless families facing for the first time in their lives that was depicted

in Steinbecks/ Grapes of Life except it won't be the Dust Bowl it will be the unforgiving harsh cold winters of the Midwest resulting in untold deaths of infants, childrenss, daughters and sons, parents, many reservist families, and national guard families fighting overseas!

By God, Sir the nation needs you to take a stand. If not to tell Congress and this president to preserve the Union by preserving its peoples and their families with the utmost sign of religiousity regardless of faith affecting all Americans for we are our brothers keepers!

Pls promise to get rid of empty headed cabinet spokesman & return to fact based press briefings/followup questions of individuals of authority!

America, well understand the extent to which this administration has used incompetent individuals who lack the training or expertise necessary for their assigned positions. Sadly, no voter could have ever imagined that the American taxpayers would be supporting an administration based on cronyism to the point that we are paying so-called spokes people who stride or waltz into a room well coifed but possessing as much intellect as the hair spray with which it took to maintain their coifed hair!

I was stunned and insulted listening to the Pentagon spokesman declare to hopefully a real press pool since the camera's never showed who they were nor announced the paper they represented prior to directing their questions to Geoff Morrell, hopefully no relation to the Morrell food product company, that he wasn't going to answer a bona fide question. Hello, does this man understand his job function is not to pick and choose which question he wants to answer, nor give his perceived or belief as to what the answer is in that he stated: "Well I believe that . . ." Excuse me, but the American taxpayer is not paying him to 'speculate' since he has no authoritative knowledge with which to speak for the actual person responsible for the action(s), or decision making that pertains to the questioned asked by the journalist--hello! Heck, I could give a better answer that what this twit did!

Thankfully, America and the voters will actually see a professionally run administration where our tax dollars aren't wasted watching what our grandparents had in their rear view mirrors where the stationary doll or dog figure rocked its head in an yes motion all the while the car was in motion!!!!

Rachel, Keith, you are not the only ones who are counting down the days until America finally after 8 years of drought of what can only be called the Bushchen intelligence brain drain of those figures in the back of our grandparents cars, America will finally get ANSWERS

Michelle Obama should seek friendship with Teresa Heinz another strong woman who was derided during a presidential campaign.

Teresa Heinz, the wife of Senator Kerry would provide a great insight regarding her own experiences regarding being the unconventional ethnic American wife whose roots are from Africa such that at every turn this equally intelligent strong woman was continously derided without end. Michelle, Teresa's friendship will stand you well as you transition to First Lady in the era that was very different than Hillary's.

I don't believe in astrology, but when I saw this on the international CNBC's India business channel I got chills by a leading psychic.

"Michelle Obama's time is difficult uptill april of 2009. She should be very carefull in her public appearances and must seek total protection."

The other warning I couldn't find but heard was a warning for Barack: "Though trusting and forgiving, not to confuse those close to you as friends for they are not".

I sincerely am not the type to believe in this but perhaps this is more of hearing rumblings from that region of the world that is incorporated in the psychic reading as a warning knowing it would get headlines but dismissed by those seeking to carry out their deeds because it was framed and cloaked as a psychic's statements. That is not paranoia since we have an entire dept dedicated to decoding such things. I have a habit of picking up on nuances, that's all. I am concerned also due to Barack's continual referencing to Lincoln that doesn't bode well with this warning from that part of the world where free speech can and will get you killed.

Serious cabinet choices: Commerce, State, security.

Why not utilize some noted individuals already involved in the fields but who don't work for industry?

Governor Richardson has proven with his engagement with the Koreas of his ability to be Secretary of State. His Latino background opens the door for South America. Certainly due to his ethnicity instead of the typical Euro secretary many nations have dealt with, he would be the signal for change in the African nations, Southeast Asia, and the former Russian satellite nations.

Bill Clinton would be great for Commerce assisted by one of the fired federal judges who has expertise in the field who would at the level of being a former federal justice possess the probing and wonkish legal details necessary to put legal teeth and claws in any negoitation to ensure enforcement and fines if there was any cheating with verifiable recourse by both sides that would required mandatory binding arbritration by a pre-determined neutral source such as a revolving 2:1 panel of recently retired justices in the filed serving as binding neutral arbitrators with the breaking tie vote determined by a third judge to serve as an appeals justice arbitrator revolving each year from each nation but one whose integrity is not nationalistic pride nor inlfuence with guarnateed animity from political influence such that their ultimate lifetime proven respect for the law demonstrated their neutrality and ultimate fairness to both parties. Pls provide a database for military dependents regarding retrieval of health records

My father who remarried died in 2008. His wife sold the property and left. I can't obtain vital health records from St. Louis without my dad's social security number. My mother preceded my dad in death. I have no record, nothing by which I can provide the Great Lakes Naval base hospital with in order to retrieve my medical records.

Many military brats know one thing and that's the age when we get our ID cards since it's a big deal for us. But, too many don't know how to obtain their health records they don't like me realize they could obtain let alone thought about when they were in their twenties but as they age their childhood diseases return with a vengeance that for the military dependent could mean the difference between unnecessary huge medical costs to rediagnose a condition previously diagnosed as a military dependent especially if time is not on your side or there is a genetic issue affecting one's child such as in my last daughter's, Asha's case.

Something truly must be done to ensure in addition to portability of medical records being condensed on CD's given to the patient for their safekeeping while UNIFORM ELECTRONIC PATIENT RECORD KEEPING STANDARDS ARE ESTABLISHED that can be easily transferred from medical provider to medical provider, and or a registery similar to one accessible for vets through the Archives where families can pass a means test to prove they are in fact descendants authorizing the National Archives to provide their physician and physcian only with the data that can in many instances provide unknown heriditary diseases or conditions unknown to other family members that can expedite treatment and in some cases be life saving information especially if a member SUFFERED FROM WHAT IS CALLED AN ORPHAN'S DISEASE. Don't pull Senators for posts. Sec of State choose Teresa Heinz Kerry or Richardson

Actually assigning both to the State department would be one hell of a good idea while assigning if you Kerry as your Def Secretary. The problem with pulling from the Senate involves your Supreme Court nominees! Thus you must consider any person pulled from those ranks lessen your opportunity to appoint a nominee which frankly Clinton would be an excellent foil to the smiling face Chief Justice Bundy look a like. Daschle would be great as Commerce or Trade.

Whatever you do and whomever you select pull from outside of Washington with noted authority in their field widely respected who can easily be assigned a House of Representative member as an assistant Secretary to guide the person through the various pitfalls of the Congressional bear trap.

I would even pull some Republicans who have fought the long fight on issues directly related to the Secretary position as assistant Secretaries whose pursuit of the issue eclipses any partisanship they would be extorted by the need for campaign funding that every member of the the Congressional GOP faces every 2 yrs.

Collins would be a good fit in the VA as an assistant secretary. This would be good since most secretaries burn out. She has veterans issues in Maine that are serious and I watched her fight for them prior to the issue being shoved aside for the Iraq war, thus silencing her. Collins would work well with Tammy Duckworth as the VA Secretary.

Pls assign a noted phsycian versed in minority health issues to the CDC and FDA. There is a life threatening problem regarding both agencies since the medicines tossed onto the market and America's TV's are done so like chicken feed where virtually no FDA studies by pharma has included test trials of groups of minorities within their human testing. I know I used to be apart of the FDA submission process for a pharma and personally saw the groups used whose case studies were submitted to FDA.

This is critical since the demographic shift is such that it has REACHED CRITICAL MASS REGARDING ENSURING THAT THE PHARMA INDUSTRY CONDUCT TEST TRIALS ON AFRICAN AMERICANS, LATINOS, ASIANS, WHERE THERE ARE SCIENTIFIC ANAMOLIES THAT DO HAVE GRAVE ADVERSE HEALTH OUTCOMES DUE TO ECONOMICS, AND QUALITY OF LIFE CONDITIONS THAT CAN NOT BE IGNORED.

Sorry but the other half of your rendition of the Kathy and Regis is the equivalent of watching Larry King in the afternoon. Eech Geritol time!

That's what drives me crazy about Joe in the morning. They might as well call it the Lawrence Welk show in the morning! At least his show was appropriate for the era though. The Kathy and Regis bit is so outdatedly sexist! As a woman it makes your skin crawl as much as listening to the dogmatically rigid caricature of Palin and the two faces of Eve Republican woman personna to the extent that I rather stomach the inane stupidity of the rants of the very folks Laurence was speaking about last Friday, Nov 7th on the show 1600 Penn. on C-Span's Washington Journal.

Our prayers to Toot Tuesday was answered! Humbly President elect Obama might consider these people!

First, I want to say that Tuesday my daughter and I knelt together saying a prayer of utter thanks to Toot for her unconditional love and sacrifice that she could never have dreamed would result in the achievements of her grandson as she denied herself so much of life's little pleasures to ensure Barack and his sister would have a chance in life. As a parent who has been there and now disabled whose worn my body down where I fret daily how after being financially devastated by my tiny but dependable stocks while my health tanked like the stock market just as my firm went bankrupt leaving me stressed out and with a daughter wh secretly doesn't see how I could possible get her into the University of Madison at Wisconsin and her pre-med in cardiovascular surgeon specialty now--my heart warmed to see what Toot did.

So we prayed together as I had my 16yr old daughter, who will be 17 on 12/11/91, a campaign intern, county absentee courthouse worker, and finally a county absentee courthouse ballot counter that allowed her a once in a life time experience of how our democracy works regarding voting. We prayed to Toot and thanked her with all our hearts for her genuine sacrifice she made that brought America this leader who will inspire and be the guiding light not only to millions of Americans but to the world's forgotten, invisible suffering peoples that the hope that keeps them barely alive each day is not in vain as long as they continue to keep telling themselves: Yes, I can! Then the morning will be a better day such that seeing through hopeful and enriched eyes of belief, they will find new ways to succeed.

I prayed like I did when I was much younger and stronger while penny pinching and by the way I wasn't kidding about collecting those aluminum cans for recycling for change and getting cashier's checks of $25.00 to send in sometimes 3 times a month depending on what I could collect and my health. So, you see there are ways to get things done. That was how millions of Americans were about to scrape together monies to support Obama either by sending in for rebates from food purchases or battery rebates to tire rebates to gardening rebates, us everyday invisible ordinary people who go about our lives each day helping each other if only but to provide advice to a child in distress or going to wrong way out of hopelessness such that we become a quasi parent who cares about their grades and behavior where they call us knowing how sick we are and talk to us knowing we care about them and how valuable they are including guiding them how they can become whatever they chose unlimited only by their commitment to themselves where they don't have to live the life they were borne into but they can live the life they envision for themselves with a slight English [pool term] put on it showing them a glimpse of a world of carreers they with their talent and interests gleaned could never have dreamed of since they never have been exposed to it. It's sort of like those analogies on IQ tests I took as a kid that I never was introduced to presuming I had been to a zoo to where I will never forget my query of what a penguin was--thus saying a lot in a then segregated America whose parents refused to endure the indignities never took me to a zoo but finally saved up for encyclopedia's when I entered 9th grade despite my dad's continual denied advancement in the Navy that wouldn't be adjusted until one year before his retirement that would have made a true difference had it occurred during our childhood and his early years.

You see time is a heartless theif that never repays its debt for what it has stolen.

So we prayed all night, not watching the return once my daughter came home from counting the absentee ballots. We prayed to Toot,

St. Monica the patron saint of mothers and mother to what many call the Black Pope, Augustine, and to St. Augustine who with his travails and his mothers guidance and prayers became a Pope, while asking God through his son Jesus, please to answer the plight of humanity to show to those whom Jesus walked amongst and beloved that society has rejected, that please let Obama be that light to the world's and our nation's invisible people blocaded by so called sound barriers and rerouted streets to where in rural backwoods country maps didn't even recognize your existence but for a off ramp hidden by overgrowth and neglect. Later we prayed for thanks that our prayers had been answered when my husband broke in with the news.

So please note that we not only worked, scraped, but we prayed a whole lot for this day! Toot will for me be the patron saint of grandmothers!

      b.   Unless Spitzer is in jail, I'd like to see him given a second chance as the SEC secretary. I believe he was caught up in a personal scandal--but he and his staffers proved to be the pitbull guarding investors against Wall Street white collar crime.
      c.   Mrs. Powell to head HUD since she and her husband has already been engaged in their foundation and its issues go to the heart of housing.

d. Kennedy as EPA since he devoted his life to this issue.
e. Caroline as the UN Ambassador.

f. FDA: I don't remember the Republican who was screwed by the late night revision regarding the vaccine law suit but I think he would have an ax to grind as the head of the FDA since his grandchild was affected by the lax rules allowing pharma to rush drugs onto the market, advertise them without thorough vetting that only allows them to merely ad an adverse reaction to the drug instead of recalling the drug once it is shown that it poses fatal advents that globally reaches one third or one quarter of its users.

g. ATF-Eleanor Holmes Norton who best to understand the deadly consequences of illegal and cheap sales of guns bordering cities and towns where the improper and felonious use of guns affects communities that will increase as the economy worsens. Example the exploding bullet during the 80's downturn in bank banks. Technology: There needs to be a new smaller dept dedicated to coordinating with all depts of government designed to safe guard and fast track the processes of our government reducing unnecessary costly redundacies while preventing hacking internally or externally by unauthorized individuals. This dept would also provide specific grants with specific deadlines and accountability to universities known for their research in all aspects of technology where the administration identifies the top 5 most important areas where the advancement of resources [funding] is to be used that would both secure America and provide jobs to Americans while aiding emerging and 3rd world nations in using these technology grants in their nations where the IMF provides the grants using identified scientists and firms within that nation that would increase their economy by providing workers whose skills would be enhanced and the environment wouldn't be destroyed using old technology but where solar power in these nations like Africa could generate so much power to an electrical grid it could not only provide energy to that nation but could then sell it to Europe the same way we once built the intercontinental underwater communications lines to Europe but this would only span the Mediterrenean Sea with the profits paying 1/2 of the IMF grant while being directed to the needed development areas designated and coordinated by the nation's premier universities thus keeping it out of the hands of corrupt government officials while seeding generations of future scientists and business leaders for that nation!

who doesn't care if she lies, takes hundreds of thousands of dollars

during a campaign for personal use

and against all rules particularly after her recent condemnation by her own legislature still asked no questions

who provided the money

while she has the nerve to question Obama's funding;

and blows off

the verdict of her state's own political party controlled investigative committee

who found her guilty on ethic charge just like Bush and Cheney

in abusing her power

as the highest political leader in Alaska

who has said anything and everything to snatch that Veep chair of the Oval Office.

If America

and the media

gives Sarah a pass after all this

then America we are in for a new low in politics.

Wasn't Ted Bundy attractive, persuavive, yet he was a sociopath.

So much for being appealing.

America what will happen to our collective present and future as a nation,

Protecting the vote issues 4 state/fed election board/post office ending with a dear Sarah ethics questions from angry ripped off republican donors over her $172,000 ethics lapse!

I am questioning how many votes for Obama have been flipped for McCain and where along with to whom?

Where are the purging occurring?

What demographic is being hit the most and what congressional districts as well as states.

I want specifics not some stupid fluff.

What is being done for the voters whose votes were flipped? Were the flipped votes voided? What voting machine maker is the manufacturer that is the one causing these flipped votes?

Are these machines when they flip the votes providing election judges with a number such that they at least know which vote to void?

Or are the state election boards allowing over voting for McCain to be counted since this will be important in Maine and Colorado?

What has the postal inspectors done to ensure that no mailed in ballots from certain districts and zip codes actually are secured by designated personnel to protect against deliberate destruction of mailed in ballots such that they are either trashed by the postal employee at the mailbox before arriving at the post office or deliberately mutilated by being passed through the sorting conveyor belts since it doesn't take much to effectuate this resulting in delays and a spoilt ballot-are there video cameras in the postal offices in all states to ensure against this? Has postal carriers been advised of the heaviest full weight of the law if they decide to destroy ballots and not deliver them to the post office by destroying mail and then the issue of vote fraud acts or whatever the law broken is regarding this.

Please, please, please inform America how FPO, APO ballots and embassy ballots are being protected, whether they have machines and are also experiencing the same flipped vote problems.

What is the percentage of overseas ballots excluding the military vote? Which nation has the greatest number of civilian overseas voters?

Can anyone cover the overseas votes and how the campaigns are being conducted there?

What is their deadlines? How are their votes protected?
