Question of the day: Has Sarah Palin ever visited any foreign country? Could she today- does she even have a passport?
The answer is lame; Sarah Palin first applied for a passport only in 2006 and has only visited Canada, Iraq, Kuwait & Germany. She is obviously interested in world Affairs and poised to lead on international relations and diplomacy.
Why would you step forward to become a world leader when you aren't even interested. Her ignorance would be dangerous & disasterous in office.
My Mom just called and invited me to go with her to see Joe Biden at Mehlville Senior High in St. Louis, MO tomorrow. Not only is it the high school I graduated from, along with my brother and sister, but my parents even met at Mehlville.
Unfortunately, I had to turn her down and will miss out on the event. It sucks to live 4,373 miles away! But what a great opportunity for the students and area residents to get up close and personal with Joe Biden.
Mom was also excited about her first time going door to door for Obama Biden 08 last Saturday. She even recruited a new volunteer! Way to go! I feel like a cheerleader again(was captain in high school), rooting for the team from the sidelines, but more frustrating this time around. There is much more at stake than beating our rivals from nearby Oakville!

I have been a supporter of Barack Obama since I read his first book last summer. The possibility of having such an intelligent president working to resolve the most challenging issues and articulate enough to communicate both at home and around the world, seemed too much to hope for, but not any more.
My life's work is all about increasing the inclusion of women in the professional world and I felt a twinge of guilt for not being a fan of Hillary, so I was pretty quiet during the primaries. But since Sarah Palin came on the scene, I was compelled to start this blog. I recently blogged about Why Sarah Palin makes women cringe and felt I would be commenting about her every day on a blog that was otherwise not political if I didn't have an outlet for my frustration. Sarah Palin does not represent American Women and she would be detrimental to the American Women of the future if elected. I want more for my daughter!
Barack Obama will be elected and I will do what I can to make it happen. I am so proud of my Mom, Shirley Faust, who has become active campainging in St. Louis, calling and going door to door.
