Hello, I really want to support Obama, but am stunned that he has not been willing to stand up for equal rights for GBLTQ people. There is nothing about his views under the issues column of this website, and a search for "gay" + "policy" turned up 0 items. I thought he had committed to supporting federal civil unions, but to hear that he shied away from repeated opportunities this week to support the GBLTQ community's right to love and live like the hetero community does was a total surprise and huge disappointment for me. Let's make 'hope' inclusive and encourage him to take a stand on the issue. Thank you.
