Please pass a message to your beloved husband if he doesn't know already that when McCain asks Obama via the media why he has not spoken to general petraeus before giving a speech or making his policies on iraq.
He should respond by saying " The American people shape my policies and decisions, not general petraeus. The American people want out of this irresponsible, ill conceived war that Bush and McCain has got us into and on Jan 20, 2009 I will give the general a new mission, to end this war. I will listen to all advice from the general in regards to that mission"
He should also ask a question back to McCain, "did Bush or McCain seek the advice of all the generals before they invaded iraq? did they listen to the advice?"
Obama needs to tear this ole geezer apart! show no mercy.
Thanks.
Why do the republicans rather have Hillary running against McCain and not Obama? Why are they fighting tooth and nail to discredit and tear him down? Why are they shaking in their self serving boots? Are they afraid because he is black? Are they afraid of the change he might bring? I think the number one factor the republicans/corporate America is so afraid of is the combination of the evolution of the black man from slavery to the highest office on earth and the powerful change he will bring with it.
Think about it. The past couple of decades......all the presidents that ever occupied the white house only brought some, little, or enough change to certain groups but not all Americans and in some cases like the current president NONE at all. That's just politics as usual in Washington some say, if you get a republican president, big corporations and the rich get richer and if you get a democrat, the working middle class and the poor get a break from the grinding.
But Obama can and I believe will change this uneven scale and make it more balanced for all especially placing the American people first, and in every deliberation of a president if the American people, present and future are considered first together with its impact on the environment, this will not only be the greatest presidency of our history but we will create a model for the whole world to emulate and be proud of.
Would Obama's race to the white house be less taxing if he was white? perhaps. It's as if Christ came back to save mankind on his second coming and all of humanity was surprised and shocked to see a black man sitting at the throne and not the white potrayal we've been feed all throughout history. It should not matter what the color of his or her skin is, what matters most is where his heart is. And I believe among the three candidates left, that America knows whose heart really lies with the people.
I am left with two words. Gooooo Bama!
