Another question - should I make my future donations directly to Obama or directly to the DNC? Would it be the same difference or are the funds allocated differently?
Does anyone know how much total cash we have for the GE?
Are we in "bad" shape money-wise - [as compared to what McCain and the RNC have available]?

Can someone please show me the video or print article where Barack is SPECIFICALLY saying that he'd meet with other leaders "WITHOUT PRECONDITIONS".
I swear I've never read or heard him say that AT ALL! He's always said the meetings would be conditional - at least that's what I thought - someone please refute this if possible.

I thought w/ Joe Jackass being on vaca this week I could stomach his show but man, Pat KooKoochanan is sooooooooooo off his rocker. And it seems to me they've been doing everything possible to cut Obama at the knees the past two days, today in particular. Maybe they got a call from Joe (who's in rehab) telling them to stop being so "soft" on Obama??

What are Obama's plans for Kentucky? I sincerely think he should spend more time there. I hope he doesn't miss the opportunity to try and cut into her lead. I said this RE WV. I think it's important that he goes there for a couple days and let these folks get to know him.

He's losing BIG in both states. Yeah, he'll lose them anyways but wouldn't the goal be to try and cut the lead some? Seriously - I think the folks of both states would like to see him - I'm sure he has many volunteers working hard so it would really be nice if he makes a few stops there.
Please someone answer this for me - really curious to know what his moves are. So far I only see his Oregon schedule.

Yeah yeah yeah - probably posted already but who could get sick of seeing this? Honestly?
Can you all give me viable reasons why or why not to do this?
I'm on the fence personally. On the one hand, I dont want it to appear that he's "paying her off" to get outta the race - but that's rebutted w/ the fact that it's virtually impossible for her to win anyways - so I guess the point's mute.
But to add, I dont think a lot of his supporters would appreciate their donations going toward Clinton - kinda defeats the whole purpose right? But again, that can be rebutted by the fact that technically, the funds indeed ARE helping his campaign b/c he'd essentially be getting rid of her for a nominal fee of course but she'd be gone none the less - win/win situation.
The plus side of this in my estimation would be the "perception" argument. And we all know that perception is reality - to most at least. If he steps up and does this then he'd be looking more presidential, more the authoritative one trying to heal the party but also give her a chance to save face. She has a lot to lose after this race is over. I think it'd be pretty big of him to do this.
Still have my reservations though. And also, is there a precedent for this? I've never heard of such a thing but I could be wrong. Could someone post more info on why/how this comes into play?
