There is this story on fox about these flags that were taken and then used by mccain people.
Now fox is trying to spin this story like crazy. CNN is not even covering it at all, may be because they realize it doesn't hold? Well anyway.
I think republicans are obsessed with patriosm. They make it sound like you have no right to dislike the country and must love. if you don't love it, you must die or leave. Liberals has a different point of view and that is why patriosm doesn't really dominate among them. Liberals tend to think is that it is your choice alone if you hate your country or love. Just like pro-choice abortion, it applies here. Republiacns they tell us we have freedom, but we don't. Under republicans, there is no freedom, no right to choose. NO FREEDOM.
I don't care about flags, I don't care about any of that. What I do care is this goverment running for the people, not the govt feels like. Currently they are not doing it, and full of coruption.
For example, if the govt tells you that you have to jump off the bridge, if you don't you are not patriotic. So if you die, then you will be. Why should people be patrotic to George W. Bush? Why!
Yesterday, I watched parts of speeches at RNC. Everyone says that she did great, but doing great doesn't mean I agree with her.
Now I seat back and compare DNC and RNC. Two big differences. One positive message, the other very negative.
The more of RNC I see, the more proud I am to be a registered democrat. I feel that I belong to the right party. A party that doesn't make 1 second decisions, makes careful decisions, doesn't make rational decisions. A party that makes mistakes but often recovers, learns its lessons. Republicans don't seem to do that, a bunch of red necks. If you ask those delegates at RNC, half of them would come out racists. That is what republicans represent. They represent the past. Democrats represent the future, the good, positive.
You got to say, even thought it could be bad... he is brave doing it. At least fox viewers will respect that.
It seems McCain, the only thing he can relate is to war..he got nothing else....
I hate WAR presidents. I do not want to be in wars.. enough of this war talk...
They announced that they will SMS VP announcement this weeks Monday.
Here are my reasons:
1. He will come back from vacation. His first weekday campaigning.2. It will be exactly one week from convention. And typically its announced one week before.
Latest gallup polls show that Obama is very stable and actually gained 2 points since he left for vacation. If it sticks for next few days, that means that media has nothing to cover on Obama (all the negative attacks) and people can decide objectively.
It sounded much better than McCain's speech which I almost took a nap after :-)

Since friday people been watching tv a lot and the campaigns are playing ADS during the olympics. I have been monitoring this blog past few days and noticed a lot of new people and people who haven't posted past year, now responding to the ADS. They are understanding that the mccain ads are LIES! I am happy that these people do their research!
Second, when you watch tv and constantly see positive ads vs negative ads... it turns people of... thats why I think people come here, positive ads, bring people here, not negative!!
Obama has no energy plan! 0!! Nothing no plan at all. We got it call. Drilling is the way and thats it! Obama got nothing. He will raise taxes. Families will hurt. McCain will lower taxes! Obama wants to hurt huuuuuuuuurt families... McCain got everything! Obama got no energy plan! No energy plan! No energy Plan! No energy plan! Did I say "no energy plan" enough times?
It reminds of my dad calling me "Zero" when I was in HS and didn't do so well in SATs. And after all that, I got into college, graudated and got a decent job... now I ask him, remember you called me "zero", he denies it. It is the samething with these people. They think their drilling over rides everything and Obama got "Zero", nothing else matters... puting 5 million jobs in etc... ye that is 0...for them it is

I am not proud of America at all... because of how its been past 8 years, a total disaster. Those who attack Michelle Obama are idiots about that we need to be patriotic, how can we be patriotic and love out country if the leaders treat it and us like crap....
Those people who only care about them selves and only try to make money for them selves are patriotic? This is such non sense, discrace.
If McCain gets elected, we will be in the same spot as before. You know a lot of McCain supporters know that, they just don't care because they are scared of Obama...
