In what way, if any, does the Presidents Health Reform Act affect you?
The abridged version of our stories is that we are mother and daughter founders of Skip To My Lupus, Inc. headquartered in sunny Augusta, Georgia. We were both diagnosed with Lupus within three months of one another in 2003. We both suffered from the severely debilitating effects over a two year time span. With the support of our family, friends, and other organizations, Skip To My Lupus, Inc. was incorporated in 2006.
Presently, we are the only Christian organization in Augusta, Ga. committed to providing support services to people affected by Lupus and other auto-immune disorders.
Additionally, we lobby on Capitol Hill annually for research dollars.
