Promote Savings and stabilize the Mortgage Market
Encourage the American people to save for at least 3 months. If we started now we could have a great Christmas.
Have people save 10% of their income in a savings account to apply to their mortgage when their case is reviewed. They keep the money in trust, in their own savings account, and their savings helps stabilize banking.
Tell the last owner of record to inhabit the house and obtain proof of the date occupied. Only if a person is living in the home, can the homeowner file for mortgage protection and have his case arbitrated. If this is a second home, require the owner to rent it out within 2 months or his loan won't be guaranteed because the property is prima facie worthless.
Promise a nonpartisan group made up of local leaders to arbitrate and review their mortgage and their story of how they got in trouble. The group can determine actual home value and either the bank can dispute or let the government guarantee the loan at the amount determined by the committee.
Ask for volunteers in every city, county and state to sit on their local board, or sit in the audience. Get involved and help your neighbors.

Then return to normal spending.

Subsidize homebuilding in the hurricane stricken areas, ensure mortgages, get the Army Corps involved in rebuilding. Ask for volunteers.
Ms. Fiorina is stumping for a postion in the McCain whitehouse. Seeing as how she doesn't have a job because she didn't know how to run a billion dollar corporation, she has plenty of time to seek a new job. She doesn't have to worry about money, being exactly the same as the other failed CEO's who get million dollar umbrellas for poor performance.
I predict we'll see her as Secretary of Health and Human Services.
Just another person in the long line of insiders, Washington Lobbyists, and Corporate CEO's stumping for McCain in order to help define the portion of the pie they will be able to cut for themselves once they get inside.

Watching the RNC on day 3, Huckabee, Palin, et.al. and all have some positive things to say about their accomplishments but their focus is on lies and half truths about the Democratic party/platform/leaders/whatever. I guess they think they can win again by promoting scare tactics, lies and swift boating of the opposition.
If I have to hear one more time about the Hanoi Hilton ... It may be true and it may be a symbol but it can't be the continuous fall back routine of a campaign.
I don't know how Barack does it - holds his composure, stays on point, speaks to transformation, but that's what I want in a leader.
Well, my father in law got a mailing from "Black Republican PAC". It was full of mis-statements and bald faced lies. It was so preposterous, full of mis-spellings and grammatical errors, that I believe it was created by an 8th grader. Anyway, the point of the mailing was to ask for money to defeat Obama.
The letter started me thinking. Is there a list somewhere of PAC's who are anti-Obama. Not only a list, but something more, like background information on the organizers, the financiers, that kind of information that would act as truth in advertising.
I found next to nothing on Black Republican PAC or Edward Cousar when I googled them, so more information might be helpful.
