My thoughts on McCain

I was one of those Independents who was totally for McCain in 2000...I would have voted for him hands down, if he was the Republican nominee. What a HUGE disappointment he has turned out to be. Don't get me wrong...I want Barack to win!!! But John McCain has turned out to NOT be the maverick he was in 2000...instead he is the biggest flip flopper of all times. He rolls around town in the Flip Flop Express, flashing that creepy grin...ewwww.
McCain has changed his stance on several issues...the Bush tax cuts, immigration, torture, his original response to the foreclosure crisis, off shore drilling...just to mention a few.
How is he going to flip flop his way out of supporting over turning Roe v. Wade...if he is trying to gain women voters. I can't wait to see him justify that one. Or even better...he is not an advocate for equal pay for women...but I'm sure he'll flip flop his views on that too, to win the female vote.
Who is John McCain?
What does he really stand for?
Maybe someone who actually listens to his speeches could answer these questions...I can't make it through any of them...way too boring. I just watch the clips on TV, and those can barely keep my attention. I did, however, watch all the Republican debates...and I was truly disappointed (again) in the way that McCain treated Mitt Romney. McCain was so rude and down right nasty. It was uncomfortable to watch him be so disrespectful to a fellow Presidential candidate...and I'm no Mitt Romney fan. I expect anyone who plans on being the leader of this country to at least behave in a professional manner.
We have to be able to win the GE against McCain. The 527's will be out there to try to bring down Barack, but we must not allow this to happen. There must be quick responses to debunk the lies.
NOT THIS TIME!!!
