Hi folks,
28-30 people attended a Voter Registration Workshop last night. We decided to begin our own voter registration drive. We organized ourselves into 3 groups, East Valley, North Central Valley, and West and Northwest Valley.
Each group will create and manage voter registration events in their own areas.
I hope all who attended last night will share their activities with the rest of us, and what works and doesn't work as we go forward. If I had been really organized, I would have asked for a central list of all participants. Hopefully, this blog will serve to contact you all. I think a centralized list of all involved will help immensely.
As the events are scheduled, we will post them on the Obama site so that other people can join us or start their own groups.
I would love to see this activity spread to the rest of the state as well. How can we do that? Your thoughts are appreciated.
We can win Arizona for Obama! To do this we must register new voters, often young voters, before October 6, 2008.
Let's make sure we get moving now, every day until the election. Go Obama! Go Grass-roots!
