So I did the walk today. Boy it was hot. I am glad I didn't sign up for the parade. I moved to Nevada from the midwest six years ago and having never been involved in a campaign before I could help but think this afternoon, how much nicer it would be going door to door in Iowa or Illinois or Michigan this time of year. I do remember telling some gentleman today how impressed I was with Barak Obama, that I would have to be to be knocking on his door today in the 100 degree heat. He agreed and I at least got him to commit to reading a book he received as a gift, and hadn't yet gotten around too..The Audacity of Hope...Imagine that!
