Since this is my first blog post, I just basically want to outline what my posts will be generally about. When ever the mood strikes me, I will post my feelings on how the campaign is going, my frustrations about whatever may be happening as it relates to the race and postive insight that hopefully can be useful to whomever stops by my blog to visit.
Tonight, I'm in a calm, mood. The airwaves are abuzz with the "resignation" of HRC's chief strategist, Mark Penn. I've seen alot of interesting posts by folks today on the blog with regards to this. Some are shocked and some are taking this news with a grain of salt, as am I. I have become so accustomed to the tricks of HRC's camp that anything that pops off from their campaign is not even remotely shocking to me. I find myself having to remind my fellow supporters when the latest lie from HRC surfaces, that this type of behavior is expected not necessarily accepted and that we should never get complacent no matter what. It would be so freeing to just live in that realm all the time, to just be naturally high off of how well Barack is doing and how wonderful it is to have him running for POTUS. Alas we have been dispointed much to often and our defense mechanisms won't allow that release. This is why, I believe that one of the reasons behind the excitment for Barack's run is because he is so refreshing. He is everything that most of us want in a leader and so you can easily see how one can became passionate about him. Leaders like him are few and far between, so when a leader like that emerges, you want to give your all and ensure that they are allowed to use that leadership to the fullest extent. The road to the office of the POTUS has been long and grueling for all of us but we are determined to make sure that Barack gets to where he needs to be.
