We are about to end the worst eight years in my lifetime and what did I see on the news today ? Bush Sr thinks Jeb would make a great President , if not Senator . My reply , and please do not be offended - WTF ?? Are u kidding me ? I was at a friends house last week and asked the question " Would Floridians be stupid enough to vote Jeb foe Senator ? " the answer I received shocked and saddened me. it was " Yes" . I must ask why ? Why would Floridians set up yet another Bush to be in a place of power ? Its ridiculous and we must start the " Anti-Bush" campaign NOW ! Write your papers , your dem leaders , etc...Blog like it was the Obama campaign all over again. This is not even a funny punch line, this is scary as all hell and my children WILL not suffer through another Bush nightmare . Please , rebel now - before it gets out of hand. I dont want to hear anything about how Jeb was great for Floridians - thats BS and you all either know it or in denial. Those who know it are probably as freaked out as I am right now , those who dont know it - here is a reminder.
1. He is FOR offshore drilling from our beaches
2. He allowed our citizens to live in toxic trailers after Charley. I believe some still are living there.
3. Wilma - we had to wait 3 days for water and ice -it was no Katrina response , but it was pathetic .
4. His last name is Bush - thats really all you need to know . They love power , not people.Only power. The whole family is a disgrace . The way their mother treated the victims of Katrina should have been an embrassment to these people, yet it was not.
5. He is for BIG BUSINESS and BIG high rises in Florida. Well I have seen my share of empty beachfront property and we dont need anymore , thankyou .
Im sure I could writre all day about this man , but I believe you all get what I am trying to say. Will the Florida Dem party take this seriously and deliver a worthy candidate against Bush ? They better ! Although, seeing how corrupt the leadership is not only in Broward but in Tallahassee , I can only hope.
16 days and counting

First , I want to say I am not voting because I am not a committee person - so my thoughts are my own and based on my experience with dealing with the Dem Leadership in Broward .
Tomorrow many of you will be voting for the first time as committee men and women for those who will run the party in Broward - I ask that you think of these things before you cast your vote ...
1. Since seeing all of Broward through out this campaign , has the Leadership in the party done its job to stay connected to each and every neighborhood of Broward Cty - before they needed your vote ? I have never met any of these people until the campaign , not even my own committee person. 2. How long did it take some of these people running for a leadership role take to endorse Obama or were they intimidated by Clinton supporters in order to save their ass and their standing in the party ? This has NO reflection on Clinton at ALL or her supporters - if I were orginally a Clinton supporter I would be offended by anyone using my candidate to further their career . 3. Some of you may have received a letter saying Barack Obama endorses certain candidates - people get real here - this man has too much on his plate to endorse a County Chair person - good try - but hopefully people will see through this dirty trick . 4. Great job on getting Crist elected Broward Leaders - good job - we have to fear for our beaches and our schools suck ! Now, Jeb may run for Senate - that will really be awesome - NOT ! 5. They will SAY and DO anything to get elected - they will act like they give a damn and they really dont . They care about their careers politically and thats all . I was wooed by some one until they realized , I didnt have a vote . Boy, I was then treated like I had the plague ! Funny - I was real important before -hand - it was actually so transparent , it was laughable . 6. How are those Dem Leaders doing with our local veterans who have returned home ? I havent seen or heard anything positive , only negative . 7. Why hasnt the party Leaders actively sought out other Dems , and asked us to be a part until this campaign ? Because we werent invited by the leaders- keep things the same - no changes - keeping things the same and quiet is safe .
If you want change Broward start within your own party - dont be fooled and personally I dont care what happens to me for writing this email. People may disagree with my opinion and thats fair - however, I will say that during this campaign only ONE person from the party stood out as someone for the people ( ALL OF US ! Not those who live in gated communities ) and that is our President - thank GOD for him . Thank God for the party members who do want change and do want an active party that looks out for ALL and not for some .

The Obama Campaign needs help to fight of the attacks from McCain / Palin . Can you donate 10 or 20 dollars ? When Chris Matthews says that the recent polls are a " trend " we must act ! I am sorry but I will not allow the Flavor of The Month steal my families future or yours !
If you can not donate , please write letters to editors in Pennsylvania, Colorado, Michigan, Utah and right here in Florida . Tell these citizens why you are voting for Obama and not allowing the GOP to scare you or entice you by dragging out a self proclaimed " Pitbull with Lipstick " . This is serious business and the GOP does not care ! They will go for that win at any cost , obviously .

Last night anyone who has been a Community Organizer was demeaned to basically a nobody . Dont allow this woman to define who you are ! This self proclaimed " Evangelical " shot down her own Spiritual Leader, Jesus Christ and his disciples. Were they not community organizers ? I believe they were.
Community organizers are the ones who clean up after the mess of natural and man made disasters. We all know the mess a Bush adminstration is leaving us . Community organizers will be and are needed NOW more then EVER !
Gov. Palin - Shame on you ! While Sen Obama was a community organizer in the South Side of Chicago - you were seeking the crown of Miss Alaska and lost. One can only hope and pray that you lose once again ...on November 4th !

Palin doesn't have the experience to be President—and will help McCain give us more of the same.
Palin lacks the experience that McCain says a President needs.
A Hail Mary pass—but it won't change the Republican promise of more of the same.
The bottom line: John McCain and Sarah Palin won't give us the change we need. They'll give us more of the same.
Palin Pleased with Obama's Energy PlanIncludes Alaska's Natural Gas Reserves Printer Friendly No. 08-135
August 4, 2008, Fairbanks, Alaska - Governor Sarah Palin today responded to the energy plan put forward by the presumptive Democratic nominee for President, Illinois Senator Barack Obama.
“I am pleased to see Senator Obama acknowledge the huge potential Alaska’s natural gas reserves represent in terms of clean energy and sound jobs,” Governor Palin said. “The steps taken by the Alaska State Legislature this past week demonstrate that we are ready, willing and able to supply the energy our nation needs.”
In a speech given in Lansing, Michigan, Senator Obama called for the completion of the Alaska natural gas pipeline, stating, “Over the next five years, we should also lease more of the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska for oil and gas production. And we should also tap more of our substantial natural gas reserves and work with the Canadian government to finally build the Alaska natural gas pipeline, delivering clean natural gas and creating good jobs in the process.”
Governor Palin also acknowledged the Senator’s proposal to offer $1,000 rebates to those struggling with the high cost of energy.
“We in Alaska feel that crunch and are taking steps to address it right here at home,” Governor Palin said. “This is a tool that must be on the table to buy us time until our long-term energy plans can be put into place. We have already enjoyed the support of Alaska Senator Ted Stevens, and it is gratifying to see Senator Obama get on board.”
The Governor did question the means to pay for Obama’s proposed rebate — a windfall profits tax on oil companies. In Alaska, the state’s resource valuation system, ACES, provides strong incentives for companies to re-invest their profits in new production.
“Windfall profits taxes alone prevent additional investment in domestic production. Without new supplies from American reserves, our dependency and addiction to foreign sources of oil will continue,” Governor Palin said.
