Obama and Biden had great debates. Good job homies.
Now, bring it home Obama. I know you are into climaxes. You had McCain's campaign running scared after your speech in Calorado. This is why we now have the abomination called Palin. She's a lovely lady, fine too but c'mon. That would have worked 4 years ago. Information technology has evolved 10 fold since then. Politicians need to go the extra mile to lie these days.
Please use the last 2 debates to clarify your stance on the economy and the world. Everyone is waiting for you to tug at their inner soul (dig deep meng). We all know that you can. Don't miss the opportunity. A Martin Luther King moment will work right about now. The country is hungering for it, even the groups that hate you (corny but true). Don't take it for granted. If there is truly something in you that transcends all of our petty differences, do not hesitate to share it with us. I hope your final climax will be one that I can share with my grandkids.
Go get em killah!
Fake folksiness is not a word, I guess, but this is how Republicans win elections. The sad part; those same regimes never implement policies that protect or uplift the groups they are pretending to be like. I wish someone would point that out, clearly. There is a trough full of evidence to prove it. For instance, this is the 1st election I can remember where a democrat called a spade a spade. ""The Republicans are LYING!" It's about time someone said that out loud. The same logic could apply to pocket book issues. "They are lying." Republicans do not want to have a beer with you. They want you to give them power in order to exploit your support.
Conservatism, in effect, has been hijacked. I wrote yesterday that Nixon was the last true conservative. Reagan was conservative by default because he was the 1st to figure out that you could shrink gov. and cut taxes, for the rich, by using a credit card (run up deficits). In effect, causing debt negates all conservative principles because at some point we (middle class) will pay. Reagan still gets credit because he closed the chapter on communism, strengthened the military, and helped the country to grow overall. And, I would argue, this growth did not trickle down per say (Reaganomics). The middle class did not benefit much and the poor got poorer. The gap increased under Reagan but I concede, overall, he was a good president, especially for the image of this country. I was in Berlin when the wall came down. It was a big deal. Europe attributed this success to the US, which was and still is true. But, these are not necessarily conservative issues. It's good governance.
Nonetheless, every Republican since then has been a phony conservative. The middle class and the poor have suffered under these regimes. They will continue to suffer if the GOP is not stopped. Bush is a picture perfect example of phony conservatism. I hope someone can point it out before the country starts to mirror Brazil; where there is virtually no middle class there, just poor.
Thank God!!! Finally, I was wondering when Obama was going to make the incessant lying of McCain an issue for the public. I saw it coming. Lipstick on a pig was an attempt to show the electorate how slimy this group has become. Frankly, I'm surprised they went for it. I thought Rove was smarter than that. Now, it's time to bring it home. Show everyone what lying, secrecy and misconduct have bestowed on the country.
if you like the producers of Bush 2000 and 2004, you will love McCain 2008. Lies have sent us into a never ending war, a bad economy, cronyism and much more. if they would lie in a simple campaign, how much more so as our leaders.
Bring the picture home Obama. Stick to your message and stay out of the gutter.
The kill shot is coming. He might use the 1st debate for it. There will be no amount of stitches to patch the hole Obama will leave with his shot. McCain can kill everything moving if he wants but if the commander is still standing and the troops (us) are continuing the battle then it's to no avail. We haven't fired any shots yet and we are still standing strong.
Now, does everyone see the strategy? Stop underestimating Obama. I swear, the amount of crying I saw on this site was annoying. Like I said, weaklings need not apply here. Obama is only as strong as his supporters. At the end of the day, if we want Obama in the White House, it's up to us. He can only do so much. I've done very little compared to some of you. I will have some time in October to go into PA.
Does anyone have information for the campaign offices there? Hook me up, I'm fired up and ready to go.
