As we enter the 21st centrunry, it is time for America to remember its roots and get back to the basics. Our land was founded on the principal of hope, change, and happiness. Yet, we live in a constant state of fear. Everyday, as we turn on the television we are bombarded with news of terror alrets. As our children grow older, as we get older, when do the ideals on which our country was founded on get back to its roots?
We finally have a chance! In 2008 we can vote for a man who knows that it takes not just a man, but a nation to get us back to the basics, back to our roots. Obama, not only speaks of hope and change, but he also inspires it. When a man with humble means takes the initiave and has the audacity to put hope as a platform and stand behind it even though many feels it is unpopular at the time or that it is just "talk", isn't it reassuring to know that there is a politician who sticks to his guns, regardless of the popular opinion? Isn't that what we want in a president? Someone who is willing to stick to their guns?
As we enter the 21st century, isn't it time to unify Ameica? Shouldn't we be rid of the Red and Blue states and live in a United States America? Hence the name of our country UNITED STATES OF AMEREICA? Not Red America, Not Blue America, and not two America, but a United States of Amereica? Isn't it time to get back to the principals that our country was founded on; hope, and change for a better tomorrow? OBAMA '08.
