I'm just so sick of hearing the hate and spewing venum from this www.goptrust.com. I've written them the following email and I encourage others to do the same:
When is your ad going to appear about McCain's preacher Hagee??? Your organization is a disgrace to America. Where is your patriotism? Your defending the freedom of speech ... and your belief in unity and hope and dreams for the future. Your "Hate" ad is offensive at best. Keep running it and the American public will continue to backlash against your hatred.
I call on you to pull the ad immediately... or ... perhaps you can actually talk about the issues that Americans care about. Personally ... I believe that good health care is a "right" to every American in the wealthiest country in the world! Then again ... your hated and prejudice has probably blinded you to the real issues.
I believe you are Americans ... however misguided. Please think about what you are doing and put "country first" and support unity and hope.
BobbyRepublican for Obama!
I don't want to believe it ... but McCain's camp is pounding this "We've already won" mantra ... the hate ads are coming out in droves ... is it even possible that McCain could come back and sweep EVERY state that is a toss up? I'm so afraid that all the young people won't get out and vote. Don't let up. I walked the precinct Saturday ... it seems positive ... but we can't let up. If you are reading this ... stop and make a call to someone ... write an email to someone. Make sure that the vote gets out there. We need a change ... we need Barack Obama as President of the United States!
I don't mean to sound defeatist ... but we've come to far to let this slip away. We know that Barack Obama will be the leader of "unification" and the man to bring our nation together. I'm so afraid for our nation. Please make a call ... write an email ... and most importantly ... get out and vote for Barack Obama ... no matter what it takes.
I'm watching all the hate ads by McCain ... the fear ads by McCain ... I've done all I can do and I'm afraid that we all won't turn out ... please vote ... our nation, our world needs to have Barack Obama as the next President of the United States. Your vote can truly change the world. Please VOTE!
I'm afraid that the "Change We Need" won't go the final few feet to the finish line. Please ... act in favor of our nation! Vote for Barack Obama and let's make history. Thank you all for your support.
Bobby in Battleground Colorado!
It's definately a "slow blog time" in the election and there are many posts that are challenging Barack on this site. That's OK ... in fact, it is one of the things that has separated this campaign from the others ... it's real ... it's honest and allows for disagreements. Hooray ... how refreshing.
However, that being said, I agree with those who state that we must keep the focus of making sure Barack Obama wins in November. His leadership, his inspiring style, his vision is so important for this nation. Change, Hope ... they aren't just words, but a mantra for our future. Keep the pressure on ... we need Barack Obama as POTUS!
YES WE CAN!
Welcome HRC Supporters ... with you we will make history!
Tonight will be the night for all of us to unite for our future ... for change ... for hope ... and to make sure that we are moving in a direction that will pave the future for our children and their children. We are a part of history and Barack Obama is the leader that this nation needs now! Fear tactics will be thrust upon us ... but we will not falter.
It's been long and sometimes bitter in this primary ... but the passion of the HRC Supporters will, in the end, put us all over the top! Welcome ALL to the next generation of Washington politics.
Good Morning Obama Family ...
I'm hopeful that today will be the beginning of our future ... but only the beginning! We will have a lot of work to do between now and November. John McCain will put "fear tactics" into full swing and will work on the premise that Barack Obama is somehow the enemy of our country infiltrating into our politics. Not this year ... not this time ... we will make history. This Republican, for one, is ready to make a difference in our future!
Just wondering if we should be writing the remaining Supers or the DNC with counter-arguments to the HRC campaign on how Barack Obama has conducted this campaign. Is there a list anywhere of people to write? I would hate for the zealousness of HRC supporters to out perform the "Obama Nation" in sending passionate and convincing arguments for Barack!
Anyone have any ideas, lists, or does HQ have any thoughts on how we should be proceeding?
I know a lot of you don't bother, don't wanna, or just plain get upset when you check out hillaryclinton.com.
However, I tend to get a lot of insight on her campaign and what their next move will be by checking it out. I'm certain that it is tightly controlled and is a propaganda machine (as I've mentioned before). Don't worry ... I don't try to blog there anymore ... any thought of intelligent discussion and debate just isn't going to happen. The moderators are too much in tune with the latest "Clinton Machine" strategy.
Now, by going over to the blog, I can see that around 90% of the posts talk about people donating ... "last chance to donate" ... "I'll match donations" ... "We need to donate" ... "Just donated $100.00" ... It's incredible the amount of simple "give money now" posts there are. Tells me that the campaign is desparate for $$$.
Additionally, they are suggesting that all HRC Democrats send in their resignations and file as independents! They want them to send their resignations to the DNC in protest over their unfair decisions.
Again ... NOT ONE ... I repeat ... NOT ONE post about party unity or how important it is to defeat John McCain in the November election!
I continue to be amazed at the logic and the strategy that the HRC Campaign is following. It makes no sense if the people really want change in Washington and if they will just look at the reality of the situation and throw their support toward the "movement for change". We'll see what happens on Tuesday!
Until then ... I guess we should donate as well. I've been trying to raise money on my personal fundraising page. Hopefully ... anyone considering donating tonight will visit my page ... I could use a little encouragement after reading the HRC blog!
Hillary: "Go to hillaryclinton.com"
Barack: "Continue to dream of change and how your life can be better, because this is about you!"
Nuff said!
After 6 months of a primary campaign based on receiving delegates it's time to change the rules "YET AGAIN" and throw the delegate process out completely! I know, I know ... some of you Barack Obama supporters will say that your entire campaign strategy was based on the rules that stated the "most delegates win", etc., etc. However, don't you realize that with this system and with the rules that are in place, Barack Obama has successfully manipulated those rules to such an extent that he has received the MOST delegates? Don't you understand that "under the rules" Barack Obama will be the Democratic Nominee?
The ONLY way we can get Hillary Clinton to be the nominee and give her what is truly her entitled position of the Democratic Nominee for POTUS is to change the rules and go with the "popular vote". Further, we must count ALL of Michigan as voting for ONLY Hillary as Barack Obama was not on the ballot and technically received ZERO votes! Further ... those caucus states were a joke ... there was no popular vote there and Barack should receive ZERO from the caucus states! We need to recognize the importance of Puerto Rico as, even though they can't vote in the general election, their support of HRC is somehow critical to November.
Bottom line ... let's change the rules ONE MORE TIME and give the Nomination to whoever leads in the "popular vote" based on the above rules. Next ... let's make sure that we reserve the right to change the electoral collage rules in November! (Just in case HRC doesn't win that one as well!)
Please HRC voters ... think about it and see the craziness of your position. Then think about our country with four years of McCain. Isn't the bottom line what's best for our Nation and our future?
Dear HRC Supporters ...
I've been over on your blog ... your passion and your strong support for HRC is strong and unwaivering. Kudos to you.
Now ... it is really time to follow your candidate who stated, "I will work my heart out for the Democratic Nominee".
Truly ... when we come down to the issues, Hillary and Barack are closely aligned and the contrast with McCain is dramatic. It's time that "We The People" ... all of us ... focus on our country and what is best for OUR future. Putting the Democratic Nominee in the White House in November is critical.
Thanks again for your passion and your efforts to support your candidate. Welcome to the Barack Obama site ... we ALL now need your support!
I've been writing some posts about party unification over on the hillary blog ... not disrespectful, not condescending, and not even mentioning Barack Obama. NEVER POSTED. Then I went and read through over 300 posts on her blog ... Amazing ... here's what I found ...
1. Not one post that stated anything in opposition of HRC.2. Not one post that spoke of party unity.3. ONLY posts that spoke of the following:
a. The decision for Florida and Michigan was totally unfair.b. The Democratic Party has abandoned Hillary.c. Obama has stolen the election.d. We need to take the fight to Denver.e. Hillary needs to run as an Independant.f. The Democratic Party and the Media was against HRC from the beginning.g. If Hillary doesn't run as an independant, they will vote for McCain.
It's very millitant in nature and obviously, because there is not ONE post suggesting party unity ... nor ONE post suggesting Hillary as VP for Obama ticket, nor ONE post offering any debate, counter-argument, or intelligent conversation about ANY of the issues of the campaign, it is obvious to me that hillaryclinton.com is simply a highly moderated and screened "propaganda" site for HRC and her personal ambitions. Some of the bloggers are even calling themselves "Commrade" ... it's scary.
Visit Hillary's blog ... you will actually be frightened by the tone and the content! It reflects the power that HRC feels she has and how she will continue the propaganda campaign ... next up ... more people voted for her ... they will count Puerto Rico (people who can't even vote in the General Election) and they will "DISCOUNT" any of the caucus states. They will mis-interpret the votes in Michigan (seriously ... they will state that Barack Obama received ZERO votes in Michigan and they will speak of that fact as if it is a reality!)
Finally ... we'll see if she comes out and "works her heart out for the nominee" as she stated. I will be amazed if that occurs!
FYI ... Here is what they are saying over on their blog:
Harold Ickes and Tina Flournoy made the following statement:Today’s results are a victory for the people of Florida who will have a voice in selecting our Party’s nominee and will see its delegates seated at our party’s convention. The decision by the Rules and Bylaws Committee honors the votes that were cast by the people of Florida and allocates the delegates accordingly. We strongly object to the Committee’s decision to undercut its own rules in seating Michigan’s delegates without reflecting the votes of the people of Michigan. The Committee awarded to Senator Obama not only the delegates won by Uncommitted, but four of the delegates won by Senator Clinton. This decision violates the bedrock principles of our democracy and our Party. We reserve the right to challenge this decision before the Credentials Committee and appeal for a fair allocation of Michigan’s delegates that actually reflect the votes as they were cast.

I hope everyone caught the fact that John Edwards was awarded 6 1/2 delegates from Florida! I wonder who they are and if they will commit to Barack??? Does anyone know ... can we count on them???
Personally, I believe in intelligent debate ... especially when trying to unite people who basically share the same philosophy! So ... I signed up for a hillaryclinton.com account. I'm very respectful and I never suggest that the passion they have for their candidate is not warranted. However, I tried to reply to some of the comments. I've tried to give some opinions that are not combative, but attempt to promote thoughts and discussion about why Barack Obama may be OUR best chance at this time ... when I say OUR, I mean "We The People" ... whether a Barack Obama supporter or an HRC supporter!
Funny thing ... my posts don't hit the blog ... at least I haven't seen them. Furthermore, I'm unable to respond to anyone else's blog. Truth is ... they screen the comments and that's why the only thing you see on the site is the millitant, zealous, HRC "keep going no matter what" comments. They even manipulate their blog discussions!!! SO SAD.
I could understand if I was just writing crap over there and writing with condescending tones and degrading words. However ... all of us know ... that's not the style of the Obama Family.
Bottom line ... we've got to get the supers to end this NOW!
Make no mistake ... Harold Ickes WAS speaking for HRC. It was as if she was there. We now know what she is going to do ... take it to the convention. She will destroy the party and throw the election! Plan B (run in 2012 after 4 years of John McCain) is in full force.
The behavior of the HRC supporters also echo'd her whinning and "in the gutter" position. It was an embarrassment and it showed how disgusting this "All About Me" attitude really is! I'm sickened by their actions, I'm embarrassed for HRC and her puppet, Harold Ickes, and I'm very disappointed at how this will go.
Barack will have the number on Wednesday ... but it won't end there. The committee did a great job ... but it will be for not.
I'm saddened and trying to continue to say "YES WE CAN"!
Here it is ... Clinton will either win NOW ... or ... since it looks like she won't win now, we are in "Plan B" of her ultimate "power" campaign ... that is ... destroy the Democratic Party this year ... put up with 4 more years of George Bush (McCain) and then take her rightful spot as the Democratic Nominee in 2012!
She is truly self-serving!
I just heard "it's out of order" ... and truly ... this entire proceeding is OUT OF ORDER!
Although I feel this issue of argument is divisive for the party and for who will be the best nominee, I think the Senator who just spoke was passionate and powerful. I like the guy! Let's get him on the ticket for VP w/ Obama!
HRC keeps hammering home ... she can win ALL of the states that she won in the primary ... it's an errant assumption because it was Dems v. Dems ... simply doesn't hold any water. Truth is ... the Dems will vote Dem w/ Barack.
HRC is so much about herself ... she is so ME ... she is so "scorched earth" about this primary and her entitlement. It just is so sad.
I'm listening to the Florida presentation ... they are acknowledging that Florida should have their pleged delegates seated w/ 1/2 vote each. What is the difference ... does the weight make a difference in the total number of delegates required for the nomination? Is the HRC strategy to make it impossible for anyone to get the number of delegates for the nomination so they can take it to the convention?
This is just so sad! Doesn't HRC realize that she is destroying the party for this election? The answer to that question is the saddest part of all ... she does realize it ... and she's willing to sacrifice the entire country for her personal ambitions! I now fear this woman!
Let's hope that the vote comes in differently in Puerto Rico and that Barack Obama finishes strong in South Dakota and Montana and can declare victory on Wednesday!
