I am proud Obama volunteer. When I read these blogs from PUMA's, it hurts that some can say some mean things. If a PUMA who is really a democrat ever reads this, I want them to know I respect the Clintons. The 90's were the best years. I want more than anything to see a woman to become the POTUS. However, I want to see a woman who got their on her own merits and not on the coattails of their husband's last name. I also want to tell the PUMA's that I work with four former Hillary Clinton supporters, a former Richardson supporter, a former Kucinich supporter and a former republican who now with me (a former Edwards supporter--I know, don't say it) volunteer for Obama. I have now met some new friends and we have something in common. We all want to see Obama POTUS and turn Missouri a bright shade of blue. When we look up from our work, we see a huge and beautiful picture of Hillary Clinton. I did not realize she is that photogenic. Note, we were all PUMA's at one point and realize there is something bigger than ourselves. Whenever we go to the filing station, visit a grocery store, see foreclosed homes in our neighborhoods, see people without health insurance and see there was another US casualty in IRAQ, we have to do something to change. WE are what we have been waiting for. It will take all of us in this uphill battle. If any of you ever change your mind, we are here waiting here for you with open arms and hugs. Take care.
