Why do we treat healthcare and insurance as comparable things. To me insurance is for accidents in homes and cars and other things like butts or throwing arms. To me healthcare is just that, health care. If you accidentally break your leg you should use insurance or out of pocket to pay for it. If you have the flu, diabetes, aids, cancer or something else that effects your health and/or can be spread to other people, to me that would be something we should want our government taking care of and keeping an eye on (not the individual, the health issue).
For those whom can't afford insurance to cover for accidents, we could bring back non-profit or religious based hospitals.
If someone decides to be stupid and gets hurt from their actions - let the for profit and not for profit organizations handle it.
Peoples' health/healthcare should not be controlled by individuals whose primary job function is to turn a profit!!

Whatever you do, do not respond to the yelling. Sit quietly until they stop and then begin again with normal tone...repeat as necessary. Eventually they will either run out of energy or else alienate themselves so much that others will no longer pay attention to them; except for the fanatics and lemmings whom watch the cable news channels. Also if a person is already on medicare/cade, they should not invited as they already received socialized medicine...be sure to explain this confidently at the door.
I sometimes wonder, if Bill Clinton would have admitted to getting a blow job, just how much different of a world would we live in???

Has anyone besides me noticed the booming population of rabbits? It's frickin insane. Every night I will see well over 200 rabbits in my immediate neighborhood and let me tell you, they aren't frightened of humans like they used to be. I've came close to stepping on a few of them and have had several others just look at me like I was a moving lawn ornament. You're thinking so what, what's the big deal. Man has killed off or domesticated the bunnies natural predators leaving them to flourish in population and also to flourish in disease. The natural order is for the weak to die a brutal early death but now I'm seeing rabbits with broken legs who will probably lead a long life and that's not how it's supposed to work. This is how disease spreads. Viruses and other things of that nature thrive and the rabbits population becomes weak over time spreading viruses and diseases (the bunnies new predator) to each other. Unfortunately, those diseases spread to domesticated animals and eventually to humans. Yes that's right!!!Sylvilagus Influenza or the Bunny Flu!!! :-)
