I cannot tell you how appreciative I am to those who picked up the banner of Women's rights for future generations like myself and my daughter. I loved Hillary's speech and especially the part about your votes being 18 million cracks against the glass ceiling. My 13 year old daughter, Victoria, who watched the whole speech, remarked about how it gave her chills and I could tell that it was a big inspiration for her to see Hillary at her finest. To break that ceiling is a primary reason that I am a Democrat, and why I am so glad we could come together to fight the glass blowers who are trying to cover up those cracks.
I am a working class woman whose focus is 100% on ensuring that my daughter and her friends can go further and higher then I have and I am terrified of a McCain victory in November. The only war they have been successful at is their war on Education. Can you believe that ONLY reason my daughter knows the 50 states is because of a computer game? (You probably already know the answer, but for artistic effect...hee hee) Why you might ask? because its NOT on the FCAT!!! Not to mention, the cost of a quality education that will enable her to reach the lofty goals she has set for herself is out of our reach without scholarships, grants and horrible loans. I have been drilling and pushing her for years to make sure she is a great and well rounded student. As she will be competing for her place in life with billions of people in this global economy...Do you think they want our youth to succeed? My thought is if they cannot even give America's finest a chance at a better education (because they are afraid they will leave the service) then I tend to think NO.
So I am so happy to have the opportunity to meet you all and to share my feelings! Now that we are united we are going to be one big, fired up American steamroller to take our county back and save the future! HOORAY!!!! Thank you so much for joining us!!!!
I have been spending the last 2 weeks in Amsterdam and had to wait to Wednesday to hear the great news out of Iowa due to the 6 hour time difference. It brings tears to my eyes that "we"did it! The momentum arrow has totally swung in our direction! :)
I also wanted to report that Europeans are very excited about our man because they think that he can give us our shine back! One Scottish Lady named Carol, I met in a bar last night summed up Bush's reign of terror by saying that crime scene tape should be wrapped around the country. She then asked me Obama or Hillary...I said Obama and about 10 people in bar besides Carol who were from Holland, the UK and the US nodded their heads in approval. I think this is another strength of Barack's is that he will be able to inspire the world! We hate bush and we know that he stole the election, but Americans have patience and know that his retribution will come when he is replaced by a multicultural man who doesnt let greed rule his life! I also think it will be a great lesson for all developing democracies like Kenya or even in Iraq.
WHAT! Who is writing this Blog? How could anyone put Bush II in the same sentence as these true American Heroes? I mean you have the man that would have made Cincinnatus proud, The One who freed America from the Slavery of Slavery, Teddy who got his big stick from Yellowstone; WW's 14 points could have saved the world from WWI and FDR DID save the world from WWII. Jack lead us to the moon and back, so how could she put the man that brought us Katrina, Rummy and Gonzo on this list? I demand an answer!
Well as the Dalai Lama says "your enemies are your best spiritual teachers because their presence provides you with the opportunity to enhance and develop tolerance, patience and understanding” So W has done a wonderful service to the citizens of this great democracy by reiterating what happens when we fall asleep at the wheel...So we the people, cant let that happen again! We need to elect someone who cares about HIS constituents, who has hope for the future and most importantly can bring our country together. We are letting the terrorists win by allowing our own government to terrorize us into giving up our freedoms. It’s almost like our enemies are keeping us divided so we will fall. Out of all 20 candidates, Barack is the only one who can do this....
