At first I was all for HRC continuing this race. I think the voters in the remaining states have the right to have their voices heard. However, the longer HRC stays in this race the worst she makes herself look. The negativity that she's spewing is not an illusion. After lying about her adventure in Bosnia, her campaign suggested that Obama lied about his position at the University of Chicago. She claims that on Obama's resume he lists himself as a professor when in fact he was a Senior Lecturer. The University of Chicago released a statement saying that senior lecturers are professors.
(CNN) – The University of Chicago said Friday Barack Obama accurately described himself as a onetime law professor at the school, despite the fact his formal title was "Senior Lecturer."
The university's statement comes after the Clinton campaign recently suggested on several occasions that the Illinois senator was embellishing his role at the school by calling himself a professor.
The campaign also sent out a press release quoting a 2004 Chicago Sun-Times column that stated of Obama's professor claim: "Several direct-mail pieces issued for Obama's primary campaign said he was a law professor at the University of Chicago. He is not. He is a senior lecturer (now on leave) at the school. In academia, there is a vast difference between the two titles. Details matter."
But in a statement, the university said its senior lecturers are considered professors.
"From 1992 until his election to the U.S. Senate in 2004, Barack Obama served as a professor in the Law School," the statement said.
"He was a Lecturer from 1992 to 1996. He was a Senior Lecturer from 1996 to 2004, during which time he taught three courses per year. Senior Lecturers are considered to be members of the Law School faculty and are regarded as professors, although not full-time or tenure-track," it also said.

I have to ask myself if Hillary was in the lead would we be discussing MI and FL? I don't think Obama would question the DNC rules. I know Hillary wouldn't be so anxious to seat these delegates if Obama won these contests. I really can't imagine the media saying what about MI and FL if Obama was trailing. I guess because Clinton was supposed to be #1 anyway, no one would question it.
Another thing that bothers me is all the hype about PA. Even if she does win PA, she'll still be behind. I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone with this race sometimes.
I came across an independent website for environmentalists. Please spread the word to others who may be interested: www.envirobama.com
About:
EnvirObama is a completely grassroots endeavor, started by a group of strangers who were brought together by their concern for the environment and the fact that they recognize that Barack Obama is the only candidate with enough visionary leadership to tackle the immense environmental challenges of the 21st century.
It came out recently that HRC's camp is holding up the process of releasing her schedule when she was first lady. That's fine, there may be some sensitive stuff in there that needs to be combed over. However, the fact that she won't release her tax returns bothers me. She said that she would release them if she becomes the nominee. Well, it will be too late then. She also told Tim Russert during the debate in Ohio that she couldn't get her tax return together before Tuesday because she was "kinda busy." We know you don't do your own taxes so what does your being busy have to do with anything. I want to support her if she becomes the nominee but it's things like this that make it hard for me to support HRC.
Bill Richardson says he may endorse a candidate in the next few days.
By Glenn Kessler Much-wooed New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, spotted this morning having coffee at the Willard InterContinetal hotel in Washington, D.C., said that he has not decided between Sens. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, but "I might soon." Richardson, sporting a beard, declined to say whether his endorsement would come before March 4. "I'm a Renaissance man now. I don't have to answer this anymore."Asked if he saw that Sen. Chris Dodd had endorsed Obama, Richardson smiled and said, "Oh, yeah, yes I did."

It seems like if he was going to endorse Clinton he would have done it by now. After all, he worked for Bill Clinton. If he does endorse HRC it won't look good having waited so long. Unless it's strategy and he wants to capitalize on the Latino vote in Texas. Well, if he endorses Obama it will be embarrassing to HRC to say the least.
Why are people trying to question Obama's patriotism? How can Republicans who have treated Americans like second class citizens without the rights afforded to us by the constitution question anyone's patriotism. Patriotism is more than wearing an American Flag lapel. Republicans often wear the lapel to mask their hidden agenda. There's nothing patriotic about tapping the phones of American citizens, or using war as a tool of profit, or denying soldiers the proper equipment. I can't wait until Hillary is out of the way and McCain can try to defend Bush's anti-American agenda.
Senator John McCain has promised no new taxes: http://blog.washingtonpost.com/the-talk/2008/02/mccain_vows_to_hold_line_on_ta.html?hpid=topnews
Isn't this what George Bush Sr. said before he got elected? His exact words were "Read my lips, no new taxes." Halfway into his term we had new taxes. A reporter asked him while he was jogging about the quote, "Read my lips." He replied, "Read my hips" then jogged off into the horizon. That was the most insulting thing to say to the American people. Although, I guess he meant it towards the reporter. When Republicans say they're not going to raise taxes does it really affect the regular people? Bush Jr.'s tax cuts were for the richest Americans. What does that mean for the rest of us. Furthermore, we live in a great country, why wouldn't you want to pay taxes to the land that has given you so much. Especially if you're rich. I don't know how they do it but the Republicans seem to win elections time after time by promising to keep taxes low, protect the country from the evildoers and maintain the staus quo. The sad thing is people fall for it. Now thanks to Bush Jr., people are finally starting to see the Republican agenda. They don't care about anyone except rich people and corporations. The rest of us have to fend for ourselves. We all live in America and should be treated equally and that's what Democrats offer. Obama seems the most sincere about it however.
"I admired Senator McCain when he stood up and said that it offended his conscience to support the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy in a time of war, but somewhere along the road to the Republican nomination, the Straight Talk Express lost its wheels, because now he's all for those same tax cuts."
