I was with you in the beginning Mr. Obama, now as time goes on I am not so sure. I am one of those working class people you always speak about and a Military Member. I do not believe you will ever see or hear of my commits but I will voice them anyway.
I mean no disrespect to you but I just had to have my say. I think the first thing you need to do is keep your wife quite. People are looking for anything she says or has said in the past to use against you. I know she is not running for president, but what she say can and will be used against you.
Don't let other people speak for you either, then have to apologize for it later. Take a stance and stay with it. I am an American who want change, but I am not sure you or McCain can give us that. neither of you will be able to clean up the mess Bush has left us in, in 4 years. It’s it true that neither of you can do anything by yourself?
Though I would never vote for McCain, I am split between what both of you claim you will do as president. We have a problem with oil, the majority of Americans want to drill now, I would like for you to change your mind and go with the will of the people. Isn't that what it's supposed to be about? For the people by the people?
If it’s what the people want then go with the people on the issues, don't be like all the others and go against what the people want. Why not take poles from the people on the issues and go with the majority.
There need to be changes made to the military technician program, the Reserve Military Retirement System, and the Civil Service Retirement System. Why do these groups have to wait longer than 20 years for a full retirement when members like yourself only have to complete 2 years and get a life time pension, and we get just enough to go out and get another job if we are lucky?
If they are not legal send them back. If the Cubans make it to the beach that can stay, what makes them better than anyone else? Stop this or allow it for everyone.
My other issues;
Jobs going over seas; Keep this up and people will have to go over seas to work to support their families in America, just like many are doing right now, war or no war. Times are hard even at $20 per hour.
Food , Electric, Gas, Oil, housing and so on, all are going up, but wages are not.
Get rid of the electoral college and so called delegates, as long as they exist, the president will never be selected by the people. Therefore our votes will never count for anything. Isn’t that how George Bush became president?
