I was a firm believer that India and the United Stated of America are true friends and our friendship is in everyone's interest...
All the good things that have been happening between us for a while now excited me a lot. The Nuclear Deal was one big milestone, or so I thought.
But lately, I somehow question myself, Are we really TRUE friends? Maybe NO...
US' Reaction to the ghastly 26/11 Mumbai attacks was a huge disappointment. Well, what more could I expect when my own Indian government is not strong enough to react?
Its just 3 months past the terror attacks... and it seems like everyone's forgotten about it.
The media which talked about Responsible Journalism is not talking about it any more.
More so, US knows who did it and who has been fueling all this for all these years... still... still they are considered as Victims of terrorism and Allies in the War against terror.
Mr Obama, I had expected something else from you. You startedoff well, and even the military ais to Pakistan was clamped a bit but I guess we are on Square 1...
Add to it the your policies on out-sourcing and protectiong your economy might push the world into deeper Recession...
Anyways, I hope things will improve sooon... Some one, some day will realize that how important is it for us to be true friends... maybe Best friends...

US President elect Obama, during a visit to Israel, said:
"If somebody was sending rockets into my house where my two daughters sleep at night, I'm going to do everything in my power to stop that. I would expect Israelis to do the same thing."
Drawing a parallel between this and what happened in Mumbai on 26/11, don't you think we Indians also have a right to bring to justice the people who carried on the attacks.
Indians have been the victims of terror for over 5 decades now and we have been considered as a soft state because our government has not taken any concrete action all these years... and in most probability we wont act even now...
We would expect the new president to instil the same confidence trust in India as you have in your mid-east ally, Israel, so that the root of terrorism in the world, the state of Pakistan is made to act against its state/non-state actors...
Hope this post meets the eye of the people that matter.
