I am a John Edwards supporter. I will vote for John Edwards on May 20 here in Oregon. However, I do not know if he will keep his delegates, and if he decides to give them away to Barack, I will gladly follow where he leads. But I want you all to know that my support will not come from my admiration of Barack, although I do admire him. My support, should it come to Barack, will be because of his most excellent wife, Michelle. I am moved beyond description by Michelle's eloquence, and by her solid support of her husband. I do not want to vote for a person based on his or her color or gender alone, and so I did some research before I decided to support John Edwards. I have been concerned about people voting according to gender and color, but this morning I heard an interview with Michelle on the subject on Air America Radio, on our local station KPOJ's morning show with Thom Hartmann. I am extremely impressed by Michelle. I feel motivated to vote for Barack, now that I have seen several clips of Michelle's speeches, and I've heard some of Barack's moving orations in the past. Don't get me wrong, I am not changing my support of John Edwards in the primary no matter what. Because if Barack wants to get done even half of what he's proposing, such as the mention of one blogger that we need to get the powers in Washington to consider the plight of the urban dwellers, he will certainly need John in his plan, and I intend to be part of the showing on John's behalf. But I wanted you all to know that these two have moved me deeply, as I'm sure they have you, and that I will be glad now to vote for Barack should John direct us to do so in November. I want to change my former words

I find myself fully supporting Barack Obama and Michelle, and I don't find I want to be looking back over my shoulder to see what John Edwards would have me do. Since he has shown he doesn't really care, I feel completely free to support the Obamas 100% in this campaign for the nomination.

Therefore, I feel I'd like to eat some of my former words, or have them just disappear.

Ok, I don't understand the numbers....

I have received two (2) messages from the Obama campaign in the last two days, both of which claim that Obama won "the most states and the most delegates on Tuesday", February 5. This is simply not true.

Hello, Obamites. Or is that not a good thing to call you?

I have a confession to make: I am a solid supporter of John Edwards, but I want to get to know more about Barack and Michelle, and what a country run by such a man could look like. It is very likely, I think, that John may direct us to vote for Barack or Hillary, so most likely I will be voting for Barack in November.
