Grand Opening
By

This is the grand opening of my blog. I thought it might be a good way to start thinking about issues that effect all of us Americans. I have wanted to get involved in shaping our country, to not just sit back and let others do it. Sometimes it is hard to find time to participate, but I want to make an effort to do so. I think the Obama campaign offers hope to progressive thinking people, who have felt shut out of the political process. His message is one of unity that I think we need. It is a unity, however, that is thoughtful and not on that means we just blindly follow our leaders and not question there actions or demand accountability.
