First wanted to CONGRATULATE! President hopeful Barak Obama on being the person that he is and accomplishing all that he has and is going to accomplish. No matter what happens, history has been made. I am an African American woman 40 years old single parent of one, a 2 yr. old, and recent college graduate with a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling. I wanted to introduce myself that way because I am a proud American, a proud African American, a proud Woman, and a proud Mother.
I would not have had the opportunity to be in the position I am in if it were not for the black men and women who fought the struggle for freedom, unity, and equality decades ago, and who still fight. I am humbled, shaken, and at awe when I think of the lives given, sacrifices, struggles, humiliation, and degradation the African Americans pledged so the coming generations would just have a chance. This is what I see in Barak Obama's message. I completely respect, honor, admire, and adore the fact that (President hopeful) Obama saw the fruits of our pioneers and believed with them that we could be ONE under GOD. I love Senator and Mrs. Obama, I Love you, I love what you believe in and stand for.
With sincere respect,
PH
