"GIBSON: Governor, this year, requested $3.2 million for researching the genetics of harbor seals, money to study the mating habits of crabs. Isn't that exactly the kind of thing that John McCain is objecting to?"
Then John McCain telling his joke about the earmark funding for bears.
Then: "Do you trust John McCain making more careful economic and foreign policy decissions then choosing his running mate in two days only?
...what a nice slogan for the McCain/Palin ticket ...Squarely putting the spotlight to the Bridge to Nowhere controversy again...
Where's the bumper sticker!?
A community organizer is a person that helps the people that were let down by their mayor, or governor ... or president ...
I hope that was helpful, as you apparently didn't know at your speech addressing the RNC.
Hearing that Senator McCain really wanted to choose Senator Lieberman as his running mate and was only urged in the last seconds to decide on Gov. Palin, I started thinking ... can these two options be any further apart ...and why?
What if Senator McCain thinks two ways: If he wins, he will have a grasshopper at his side he doesn't have to pay too much attention to. He can pursuit his policies ...
BUT: In case he looses, and considering that he never was a friend of how his party became hostage to the religious right, he could provide the death blow to this religious right wing. Arguing that he tried them but they weren't able to deliver...
Ok, just some far fetched idea ... I know... But sure it would be the ultimate political sacrifice for his country.
... when he claimed not to know what Senator Obama meant talking about Senator McCain not following Bin Laden to the cave he's living in.

I must say that when Senator Obama did this remark during his acceptance speech, I was thinking that there might be a lot of people that don't know about the controversy earlier this year when Senator Obama was critizised from all sides when he stated he would go after Bin Laden even in Pakistan without the government's approval (and just a week later, the Pentagon bombed target in Pakistan).
Too bad that O'Reilly wasn't able to remember just this story ... right?
With all gratitude, admiration and respect for your service and sacrifice, but in the light of your recently excessive use of your military service and your time as a prisoner:
You brought up at Leno's Tonight Show that you didn't have a kitchen table in defense of the "7+ houses" crisis - however important that would be in the first place (I'm talking about the houses here).
What will be next? As you obviously didn't have a woman during your imprisonment, ...
... sounds just as stupid as a justification, doesn't it?
Disappointed, I will have to meanwhile wait and stay on the lookout for your senior strategist Nicole Wallace to get some explanation, believing that it's somebody else's strategy you're implementing here.
As you always address me, your friend,
o.
Ad suggestion: Senator McCain's income last year alone was $XXX, his tax plan would give him a tax break of $XXX. With Senator Obama's tax break, Senator Obama would increase even his own taxes so that middle class Americans can get a tax break.
Once Fay is gone, just wait for the McCain campaign to flood into Florida while the Democrats will be bound to their convention.
Instead this would be a great chance to point out the failings of this administration again. The dangers of global warming in connection with the dangers of offshore drilling.
I only heard about it but didn't see it yesterday that Chuck Todd got a full one hour on MSNBC yesterday afternoon. Could it be that they're testing the waters for him to become the next "Meet the Press" host?
Sure enough he seems to show the same sports like fanatism and enthusiasm as Tim Russert had about the politics game (whitout the obvious partisan approach Olberman has).
Go Chucky, go!
How many more republican surrogates have to say that this campaign is about fun in defense of the McCain commercials until somebody comes up with an ad that puts their statements in contrast to how Americans are suffering?
Just seen and heard it again with Giuliani...now who is out of touch with the American people...?
In the light that John McCain is apparently not able to lift his arms over his shoulders due to the tortures as a POW, would it still be fair game to use the footage of him circling crazily with his arm when he was addressing the biker crowd in Sturgis, SD?
Just imagine that in context the GOP ran the flip-flop windsurfing add against John Kerry:
"John McCain takes money from oil companies and they're getting their money's worth back in return"
or:
"How would John McCain describe the direction he wants to take the country?"
But in the end I don't think that democrats would appreciate this kind of cheap tricks - I hope...
If the McCain campaign in its latest Internet commercial assumes that Senator Obama "Might Be The One", shouldn't it also in old biblical terms expect an eye-for-an-eye response?
How about this one in the light of the "Obama's energy plan is to inflate your tires":
All that John McCain suggests to fight the global climate change and the related weakening of the ozone layer is to wear sunscreen
...there was consensus about Iraq's weapons program. Well, foreign minister of Germany, Joschka Fischer prominently spoke out about his doubts before the war to Donald Rumsfeld.
If Senator McCain would have read the NIE in 2002, they might have agreed with members of the Intelligence Committee that the evidence is very thin.
All empty promises - except the invasion of Iraq.
McCain with David Letterman
A heartfelt opinion of an old man, sorry Bob.
