This could be the preview for the blockbuster that is Obama Ready to Go in 2008! lol

I heard that just about all of the Democratic candidates have dropped out of the Michigan primary, including Obama. But Hillary has not.
I find this expremely disappointing.
1. What is the point to NOT being on the ballot?! I understand supporting the DNC by not campaigning there but to remove just about every candidate from the ballot?! Talk about disenfranchising voters!
2. If Hillary can stay on the ballot why not compete against her! She is honoring the promise all the other candidates made by not campaigning but they never promised to not be on the ballot!
The media is constantly refering to Hillary like it'll be a coronation. Do to Leaving only Hillary on the bal;lot in Michigan it WILL be a coronation. At least as far as Michigan voters are concerned.
Very dissappointing.

I think this is worth reposting.
If you are not a registered Democrat and need to make this change to your voter registration, the deadline is OCTOBER 12TH. An excellent opportunity to make this change is by attending the Bay Ridge Evening Rush Hour Outreach on Thursday, October 11th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (we will stay later if you tell us that you will be coming to change your registration). Please remember that third-party registrants will NOT be able to vote for Senator Obama at the February 5th Primary.
IMPORTANT REGISTRATION DEADLINE, OCTOBER 12TH (9 DAYS AWAY AND COUNTING!!!) We wanted to bring to your attention an important and fast-approaching deadline that may keep many of our supporters from voting for Senator Obama in the February 5 primary; ONE OF THOSE SUPPORTERS MIGHT EVEN BE YOU! Unaffiliated or third-party registered voters in NY MUST CHANGE THEIR PARTY AFFILIATION TO DEMOCRAT by OCTOBER 12, 2007 to be able to vote for Senator Obama in the New York presidential primary on February 5. That is 9 days away!
With Senator Obama’s support high among young people and independent voters, we need to let our supporters know that this date is approaching and they must act NOW to change their registration if they are not a registered Democrat. IF YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR PARTY, OR IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO DOES, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR GROUP LEADERS IMMEDIATELY TO MAKE THIS ALL-IMPORTANT CHANGE. Remember, the deadline is October 12th.
For those interested in a peak at Obama's Iowa strategy this is a good link.

Wow what a great and interesting speech Obama gave the other day on Foreign Policy.
Watch it here: http://www.campaignnetwork.org/Default.aspx
I hope so much that he makes it to be President. He introduced so many new and positive ideas!! I look so much to him implementing them. I hope he brings these ideas up at future debates because i think they would recieve praise.
Has anyone else noticed a difference in Obama at speeches and rallies versus how he is at debates? He seems relatively timid at debates and then outside of them gets much more blunt. In this speech i think he separates himself very well from Hillary without being mean or divisive. He does it on the issues. I hope he dioes this in the next debate.
Although it must be difficult with how little time there is to talk.
I wish he would present himself at debates like he does at speeches and rallies. Oh well, his staff and he know best and i hope it works out for him...and for the United States for that matter.
Here is a funny Daily show clip making fun of Hillary's constant laughter.

A clip from this 1992 debate clip would make a great commercial. Especially the part where Clinton say judgement touts experience.

Reading the money. With the up coming Federal Election Finance deadline coming up it inspired me to look at the FEC website. It's very interesting, i encourage anyone to look at it.

Hillary recieved 51.9 million from individuals. Obama recieved 58.4 million.
Obama recieved by a VERY large margin more donations that were $200 and under, more donations 200-500 and more 500-999.
Hillary recieved more 1000-1999 and 2000 and up.
I am positive that you have more people giving in small amounts than you have large donations.
So you have Hillary making the bulk of her money from fewer deep pocketed people and Obama making the bulk of his from many people with smaller pockets.
I assume that if you are willing to open your wallet for someone you are probably pretty darn likely to vote for them too.
I think this is the most reliable poll and Obama is in lead. Plus, with the next FEC report it seems that Obama will continue to be the front runner in the money poll!
Here is an interesting article about a poll that was leaked that showed Hillary being beaten by Guiliani by quite a large margin but Obama loosing only by 1% in swing districts.

Obama will be interviewed this morning on Brian Lehrer's radio program at 10am Eastern on WNYC.

I need some encouragement. How does Obama get so much attention, get so much more voter reaction to his ideas and still be SO behind in polls! I look at issues on news sites and an Obama article will get so many more supportive responses than a Hillary article.
I hear that independants favor Obama but in New Hampshire, where i think there are a lot of independants, Hillary polls 20 point over Obama?!
How could this be?
I keep thinking about Dean's movement in which he had so much youth support but then collapsed. The only light there is that he was polling as the leader and then lost by quite a bit.
You don't hear anything about Hillary supporters coming out 10,000 strong at rallys but yet she polls double over Obama?
Ugh, hopefully the NYC rally will cheer me up :(
