Just wanted to let everyone know that I sent the letter (via messenger and e-mail) to Nancy Pelosi on behalf of Barack Obama supporters. The letter included 215 names.
I want to thank everyone who added their names and provided comments/suggestions for the letter. I would like to give a special shout-out to FMcB (Fern) for her many timely edits and encouragement.
I put the letter on Google Docs so that you all can see the final outcome.

Hopefully our letter will reach the Speaker and she will take our message to heart.
It has been a real pleasure working with all of you and hopefully our dedication to this campaign will be rewarded in November.

Please comment on this letter as I plan to send it to Nancy Pelosi on behalf of all Barack Obama supporters. This is the 5th revision of the letter as I try to incorporate everyone's comments and suggestions. Hopefully, the letter will best represent our voice as Barack Obama supporters.I extended the deadline to Sun. March 30th, so that more people can add their names and so that I can format the letter accordingly. I plan to messenger a hard copy of the letter to the House Monday morning, March 31st and send an electronic version the same day. If responding, please include your name and state at the bottom of the blog and I will add it to the letter. Thanks.Question: Does anyone know where I can get the official campaign donor number? I know that we are over 1 million but is it closer to a million or 2 million? I thought the last number I saw was 1.7 million, but I don't know where to find the correct tally info. Thanks.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
March 30, 2008The Honorable Nancy PelosiSpeaker of the US House of RepresentativesOffice of the Speaker H-232, US CapitolWashington, DC 20515Dear Madame Speaker,Please find in kind, this letter in response to the admonishment that you received from Hillary Clinton’s “top contributors” to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. We, Americans, are heartened by the overwhelming turnout and support for both candidates in the Democratic Primary race. As never before, citizens are actively participating in the electoral process making this primary-caucus period lively and, at times, quite contentious. We, the people, second your preference that Superdelegates seriously weigh the importance of the number of delegates of each of the candidates when making their endorsements. You have echoed the wishes of all of us that the voters’ decisions be respected. We encourage the Superdelegates to demonstrate good judgement concerning the future of the Democratic Party as well as the future direction of our country. The Democratic nominee for the presidency will have earned that designation by virtue of the voters and the wisdom of the Party.Forty-one states have already participated in the voting process. As a result of this, one candidate has emerged with the lead in delegates (1,400+), popular votes (13,355,239) and contests won (27 states, Washington, DC, US Virgin Islands and Democrats Abroad) to date. That candidate – Senator Barack Obama – is clearly the Democratic front-runner.Madame Speaker, so far Senator Barack Obama's vast constituency exceeds 13 million American men and women of every ethnic background, income, and age. We are Democrats, Independents and Republicans. We are over 1.5 million strong campaign donors and growing everyday. We may not be “major donors”, but many supporters have contributed to the DCCC as well. We will do our part to fund the Party ensuring that the rights of 20 big contributors do not trump the will of the people. We are the people that will grow the Democratic Party. We believe in your fair-mindedness concerning this Presidential campaign and appreciate the leadership that you are providing to the Congress as well as to the Democratic Party.Respectfully yours,Barack Obama Supporters
